1:24 small correction. This only works with stop or yield signs. Shovels are not normally scanable. If you have other loot on you at the time, scanning might reveal the other things you dropped, but your shovel wont be revealed alone.
I'm pretty sure that if you have a shotgun and a snare flea jumps on to you, you can shoot it off with the shotgun without dying (not someone else shooting you just yourself picking it up)

Really hope you delve into some of the mechanics of the AI in modded creatures too. The AI behind the Fiend is definitely something interesting to explore, and especially the new Walker enemy that was introduced in the 2.0 version of Diversity.
You can still die to a snare flea in solo play if you're not full health and get attacked by one, so be careful trying to kill them solo or you might get succ'd to death.

i jump while running from snare fleas and they generally get confused/"lose me" for split seconds each time, and this can help me put distance between us even when im heavy
I'm not sure if this was an actual mechanic, but I was convinced you could shake your mouse rapidly to make it get off. It may have just been in solo mode so it just got off of me, but I was almost certain it happened in a multiplayer session
I would not be surprised at all, if snare fleas on the ground, are basically coded similarly in size as a landmine's hitbox and trigger point. But it's stepping onto them that triggers the grab, also I think it will only perform a grab on it's current target and while in pursue mode?
People were starting to be worried because they were being hunted and more and more were found and they made these to assure themselves that they'd be ok
BTW you CAN hit the snare flea with a shovel while it's on the ceiling and in some spots (maybe all of them idk) it won't drop but it will take damage till it dies. Playing rain world has taught me to ALWAYS look at the ceiling in video games, so that's the most reliable way for me lol
Fun fact Today I played lethal company v50 and I was trying to find the fire in vow, I found it but I got jumped by a snare flea the thing is I had an easter egg and when it dropped it staright up just blew up knowing me all the way back, and just insta killing the snare flea that was on my head. So put Easter eggs as a way to kill snare fleas

In my solo runs, I very often find snare fleas dead in front of vents that they spawned from, as if they spawned in and immediately died. Is there an explanation for this?
My guy, please, the discord pings :( You can set discord to automatically mute your notification sounds when you're using recording software. (Might depend on your software, I know for me it easily autodetects when I'm using OBS) And if it's being captured when you're recording the voice over you can use audio recording software that will only capture the mic. I prefer to use ocenaudio for this purpose.
