Your children are getting the education of a lifetime. Hiking the wilderness is so fantastic when you are a kid. I wish I had the opportunity to go something like this when I was a kid. Sure, I did short treks, nothing like this though. I'm a wheelchair bound old man now, looking back and wishing I could experience what you are now doing. Your videos still give me the thrill of your hike which I find very enjoyable. Thanks, Love, and be safe.

It’s hard to even imagine what those water crossing will be like this year when the snow starts to melt.
I know. I would love to see & compare this part of the trail at the end of this July.
I believe it is safer to cross with your backpacks released. If you fall in you can easily get out of the pack so it won't weigh you down.
