I watch a lot of hiking videos...been watching them since before they were cool. You guys and The Wander Women had the best videos out of all 3 of the triple crown trails this year. I'm so gonna miss y'all... it's been very, very entertaining! Ps...the wander women saw that same marmot lol I'm from Townsend Tennessee in the Smokies. We raised our kids on trails, in the woods, on the river, and on the lakes here. Now we have a bunch of adult kids who love these mountains and they take care of them...and on their days off work they're on a trail, or in a river, or kayaking in the lakes here. Its made them good humans who love the planet. This Mom move you made...hiking with your girl....best Mom move a Mom can make.
Halo is the coolest mom ever. Chief is super mature. Dipper is so funny! The new guy is a great addition. I really had fun watching you guys!! I can imagine Halo leading the drama guild at school with such an amazing personality. Thanks for sharing the journey!
“…we’re about a mile and a half out of lunch.” Your navigation comments and relentlessly humble humor is always a highlight of you blogs. Thanks for that.
U guys look so fresh and the attitudes are so positive… it literally leaks into my life and I so appreciate it… I am glad to have been on this journey… so sweet to make it to a place u didn’t imagine actually making it to…
You know you learn something from every hiker you encounter… One of the things we learned from snuggle monkey is that before every epically huge hike he would turn to the group and exaggeratedly go “This is gonna be SO fun!” It would make us all laugh, and Chief now does that with her cross country team!
My $$ was on you ladies from Lake Morena and beyond. I knew you would make it. Can’t wait to see you get to the border marker. Revel in your last miles - enjoy every minute. You are amazing!
Can you send me a little of your stamina to go up and down all those high elevation passes and long, long mileage days!? I thought I was doing well to do my first 20 mile day, and then a 30 over two days recently! You two rock! You have inspired me more than you know and I hope to grow up to be like you someday! Can't wait for the grand finale! ...Stumper
Wow! 4 months and 8 days to do the PCT. That's a torrid pace, but necessary to avoid fires and snow in Washington. And you (mostly) avoided mosquitoes too. Good Job!!
What a gorgeous view all the way around. Happy for you all. It seems like spirits have been lifted and really looking forward to the end of the trail videos. It has been so fun to watch your journey. Really glad you took us all along with you. 😃⛰🥾🥰
Other than those few early days in Washington when I heard, “we’re just walking and can’t see any of Washington” I never doubted that you would make it to the end. You guys are amazing!
Let me be the first here to congratulate you to your PCT thru hike! - Today is day 137 (?), you have service, so I am sure you are already back from the Northern Terminus. Waiting eagerly for the final episode(s)!
Am loving your journey. I’ve also been loving your bowls/plate/cutting board so just ordered myself one. :) Been doing little snippets of the PCT all summer looking longingly at all of you through hikers and can’t wait until I can go. Just got back home to CA from Rainier area. Hopefully 2024, if it doesn’t keep burning. :(
I think Frank Sinatra had some foresight of your final days on trail, and I quote: "And now, the end is near And so I face the final curtain My friend, I'll make it clear I'll state my case, of which I am certain I've lived a life that's full I've traveled each and every highway And more, much more than this I did it, I did it my way. I've loved, I've laughed and cried I've had my fill; my share of losing And now, as tears subside I find that it's all so amusing And to think I did all that And may I say - not in a shy way "Oh no, oh no, not me I did it my way." I look forward to your "final curtain" with trepidatious excitement and gratitude for your video chronicles done "not in a shy way." ❤️
I was so excited to see you posted this video. I worry about you when girls when it’s been a few days. I’m so proud of you for making it to Canada! You ladies have made amazing memories and need to go on tour to tell your stories! ❤️
Congrats on making it to Stehekin! Buttttt... this means your adventure will soon be over and I for one will miss you both! Can you plz vid your everyday life- I’m sure it would be epic also. Many thanks for taking me along!
It was AMAZING watching you guys all these months, Thank You for sharing these moments with us. Having said that, what is the one moment/event that stands above all the rest that was your highlight and lowlight?
Fun marmots on the trail - had to laugh at their furry chunky body - love the section between Stevens Pass and (my fave place) Stehekin. My husband and I took a small Cessna there years ago to photograph a small bridge for the government. Ouch about your fall and finger injury 😢 Your videos are the best- am going to be sad when you post your last one 😭
Stehekin is amazing I did a shake down hike there beginning of august and it is beautiful. The 18 miles lakeshore trail and ferry rides to and from chelan are 10/10 would recommend. Congrats on your guys finish, been following the whole way.
This is a amazing adventure, I’m so looking forward to you ladies finishing the PCT! You girls make a really tough climb look so easy. What do two wild and crazy girls do on a zero?
Haha! Vindication ♡ So admire your journey. How long does it take to get used to that pack? I have mine under 30lbs, with food and water but still....it kinda ruins the hiking for me. Especially with BIG ups/downs. Is there any hope I can get past this? Congrats on your thru hike. It's been so exciting to watch you gals. Strong women 💪 ❤
Great videos, I look forward to your updates! How do you decide how far to hike every day? Are you on a schedule to finish by a certain date as it seems like your daily mileage is really high!
You guys went through HELL on this hike and you did it all with a smile-except the one part in Washington when you got a little choked up. You just proved that the Woman is the stronger sex

Congrats on finishing, Thank you so much for bringing us along on this great journey, I am looking forward to the last video and the post-trial vid.
Popping a dislocated finger back into its joint while on trail. Just another day at the PCT office for Halo!!! No big deal. Great stuff!!

Glad the weather was good. I am curious is you passed the Wander women since they just finished this past week (late week)
I feel like I saw you reach Canada but missed Stehekin and I was feeling sad you missed it. But now I m not. Lol
