Congratulations on finishing your hike!!! We are doing the same thing, but have started with Washington sections, as we live in Mazama, WA where you finished. Great job!
Mazama was a very beautiful part of washington that I’d never seen before! Have you already hiked sections of the PCT or planning on starting this year?
Haha you knew exactly where I got turned around! I’m just glad I ran into the dude with goats who was hunting bears… otherwise I might have gone a lot further in the wrong direction!
Thank you for sharing and inspiring. I have a question about the socks. Do you prefer to have knee-high socks? Are they compression socks? Just curious because I have considered wearing longer socks.
I typically wear (darn tough) ankle high socks. I see plenty of people wearing taller socks though! I’ve never worn compression socks- but I do take compression sleeves with me for my calves!
This is my backyard, been hiking that area since I was 12.. now I am 66 and it is still awe inspiring.
Good attitude ( and altitude). Looks like every minute out there will rank amongst your finest hours! Thanks for sharing!
I have assigned you the trail name of Tee Pee. lol.... Thanx for sharing your video, nice work!
That would be an appropriate trail name based on this trip 😂😂😅

We have done a bit over half of Washington. It is amazing. Also a bit in southern Oregon.@@alexrambomajor
I think the trail junction at Pear lake has confused a fair number of hikers. It happened to an older thru hiker the last time I was up there.

Flat rocks, backside of leaves and water to wash everything clean. I never use paper in the long sections.
