I'm so happy 90s JDM cars are emerging into the spotlight by people like you Craig. Good luck with your channel!
It's like watching two 20 yr old kids talking. When they were reminiscing about the track day, it reminded me about my fun days w friends. This car hobby has a lot ups and downs but it's amazing. Working on cars w friends learning and trying to figure out issues and the joy of getting the car on the road, just to watch it breakdown again after beating the crap out of it. I remember getting 88 Accord on the road after converting it to manual and swapping a new engine into it. Watching it turn it our brought tears to my eyes. It was a money pit, but i met and made a lot of good people because of it.

I love the first version of the NSX. It was featured in Pulp Fiction and the underground street racing film ‘Getaway In Stockholm 3’. And I love the way it sounds from the interior, it’s just fantastic!

As the first video in the review series I'll cut it some slack... but that felt extremely short on the getting to actually KNOW the NSX. I know it's not a full review but I feel like I didn't get a chance to appreciate it or see much of it in general. :( will definitely continue to watch as I feel this can only get better.
Some food for thought. Throughout the NSX's lifespan (1990 to 2005) what were all the other Japanese manufacturers doing? They were were all doing turbo performance cars. I have a lot of respect for Honda to separate from the pack and do their own thing with NA performance cars. People like different things, not everyone likes turbo cars. When the 2002 NSX-R first came out it was destroying almost all the other JDM cars round all the Japanese race circuits. As popular as mk4 Supra's, R34's and 3000GT VR4's were, those cars are significantly heavier than NSX's. And sports cars imo are not supposed to be heavy tanks are they.

That car is an NA2. That front bumper style is from the 2002+ remodel. NA2 is from 1997+
The Paint job on this car is fantastic, loved the silver finish

In the 90s and 2000s in Japan there was a club called top end and they had nsxs.
It's hard to beat the pure analog feel of a first-gen NSX. Those ITBs sound glorious, and I have to admit I love that front bumper with the pop-ups. If our '94 wasn't so clean and (relatively) unmolested, I'd be looking to do those two mods. He should get a Cup kit (front axle lifting system) for the front of that car - makes them so much easier to get in and out of driveways, etc. Neat review Craig.
Science Of Speed sell a front bumper that's exactly like that one. Keeps the pop ups, but has the 2002+ lower spoiler.
There's been a boom in NSX videos as of late here on the platform. Certainly I'd like to be there to hear one in person as cameras never do justice. @_@

What a beauty. Love gran turismo 1 on ps1 and this was one of the queens from that game. That silver colour is so unique and its great that they didnt overdo the mods while its not boring stock. Great vid. Also very interested in the audi and porsche reviews!

That's a beautiful NSX right there, I actually wanted to buy one at one point when I was teenager but of course I was broke and didn't have a job. I am now a young adult but I got a long way to go to even afford a nice classic JDM car like that. Someday I will own a nice car like that before most of us be driving electric cars that takes the fun away from being a car enthusiast (only if you're into cars no matter who the hell you are).

My first car was an 86 MR2 and driving a mid-engine car was so much fun. Even with old worn-out struts, the handling was still amazing over 100mph.

Nsx is almost a racing car, 270 HP is great on circuit, much better than Supra or Rx7 in handling

@CAKA24 in Australia we only got badged with “HONDA NSX”, we never got the “ACURA” badge. I personally think the Akura plant/company idea strictly for USA was a ridiculous concept
Thats because it is a honda. Acura only exists in the US, its a honda everywhere else.
Same with pretty much every other acura model from the 90s/early 2000s. The Integra Type R is also a honda outside the US.

the pop up head lights come up too much for the nsx, like just copy lambo's. if it had come up just a bit for light it would be bad ass. My opinion but Im way after the time of pop up head lights so.
They made the NA2 with fixed headlights so. Pop up headlights have been around before Lambo used them so.

I've never liked cars with snap power and higher rpm. I like linear acceleration personally.
A mixture of everything is the most fun in my opinion! Something that hits good down low but keeps pulling harder and harder up top
NSX is very linear. C32 has quite some torque down low too. VTEC crossover is very smooth, you just hear the different noise, but it pulls continuously.
i still know the times where NO ONE wanted thes Cars anymore.... too slow... to old Fashioned.... no modern Gimmicks.
