- The first of its kind, The Honda/Acura NSX (New Sportscar eXperimental) was the start of Honda's endeavor to combine the reliability and simplicity of everyday cars with supercar aesthetics and performance. With handling development from Formula 1 legend Ayrton Senna, a design inspired by the F-16 Jet Fighter, and a mid engine v6 (with VTEC!) singing behind its driver, The NSX became a daily-driven David, defeating the Italian supercar Goliaths of its age, and a 90's classic.
Combining his love of formula 1 and JDM, Fred's first-generation NSX is unlike anything else on the road. Join us as he tells us how he bought, built, and daily drives this Japanese legend, and takes us behind the wheel of his Acura NSX.

When you were talking about the Acura Legend and how it was the closest thing you're gonna get to an NSX I immediately started thinking about my 94 Integra. I got my Integra in 2009 thinking it was the closest I'd get to an NSX. Sadly today I still haven't had the opportunity to buy one of these cars and it's just getting harder with each passing day. I haven't given up yet but at the same time can't help but feel it's a moving goal post with how the prices of these are today. Congrats on approaching 300k miles and heres to 600k miles! 😉

Owning a 91 legend when I got my 97 NSX in 97 I found they made a perfect pair. I don't think I could live just with my 97. It's too limited. The trunk the ability to do practical stuff. It's been a 25 year honeymoon with my 97 but it in my opinion just too limited to be the one car. I've alway had that second car.
Amazing Video & Story. I remember falling in love with the NSX playing Gran Turismo on the PS1. My first car that I bought was a 94 Integra GSR, I fell in love with the style, performance and handling. I knew I had to get the NSX someday, so what did I do? I said F college, dropped out and bought my NSX 4 years after owning the Integra 🤣, It was the best decision I've made.
