  • In today's video we get a chance to drive and review the 1991 Acura NSX after driving it for the last 2 weeks. I talk about the stats as well as the driving experience and also touch on the cars history and competitors like the Ferrari 348, Nissan Skyline GTR, Toyota Supra, and Mazda RX7. Finally we talk about the cars value, reliability, and how it has aged.
The 1991 Acura NSX, also known as the Honda NSX outside of North America, is a sports car that was produced by Acura (the luxury division of Honda) from 1990 to 2005. Here are some key details about the 1991 Acura NSX:
    - Design: The NSX was designed to be a mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive sports car with a focus on performance and handling. It featured a sleek and aerodynamic body design, with pop-up headlights and a low-slung profile.
    - Engine: The 1991 NSX was powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine that produced 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. It featured Honda's VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) system, which helped optimize performance and fuel efficiency.
    - Transmission: The NSX came with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard, providing a direct and engaging driving experience. A 4-speed automatic transmission was also available as an option.
    - Performance: With its lightweight construction and powerful engine, the 1991 NSX offered impressive performance for its time. It could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in around 5 seconds and had a top speed of approximately 168 mph.
    - Handling: The NSX was praised for its exceptional handling and balance. It featured a mid-engine layout, which helped distribute weight evenly and improve stability. The NSX also had a sophisticated suspension system and precise steering, providing excellent handling dynamics.
    - Features: The 1991 NSX came with a range of features for comfort and convenience, including power windows, air conditioning, leather seats, and a premium audio system. Safety features included anti-lock brakes and driver airbags.

Always loved the NSX. It's rare, a solid performer, and exotic looking enough to warrant it's price tag imo, especially in this day and age. Not to mention those taillights (much like the R34) are legendary.

Anyone who thinks this isnt a 100k car. Hasnt driven one and or has shitty taste/criteria for a car. The shifter alone is extraordinary. The reliability, seating position, dynamics and timeless designs are icing on the cake. Id take the driving experience over big whp behemoths all day

Asking if a car is worth as much as it's going for is kind of a dumb question all depends on the person buying it

All BS aside, they are worth about $25K. I can remember around 09 seeing them as cheap as $9K in rough bun running condition.
I see the price plummeting on these soon.

@@shawnc4281 Oh i dont care, i'm just telling you what i think they are worth.
I wouldn't pay over $16K for one myself. I'll never get one, and that's fine. I've driven one. Prefer a K20 Del Sol myself haha.

I highly doubt you’ve ever seen an nsx for $9K lmao unless it was the one that was found in a river you’re taking about. It was sold for around $9K because it had been at the bottom of a river for 15 years

@@user-fj8wr8jh4e it must have been falling apart 😂 but either way it’s funny that you say you wouldn’t pay more than $16k for one now when some of them are worth ten times that price you just gotta get with the times

NSX fanboi community just happens to be a community with money. Any car of the era supra/nsx/fd/nissan etc will command as much money as the community who drools after them has. If enough rich people consider the nsx to be racecar y0! then its price will reflect that.
