Which 90's JDM legend car do you want to own the most and why?
The Slip Angle RX7 any of them. Because I would love to own a rotary
Either a mk3 Supra with the 1jz, 1rst gen Celica, rx7 fb, Celica altrac, ep3 type r. Idk if anyone wants me to continue, my list can get pretty long...
Your driving it. Almost 50 been driving Hondas since I was 16. Always wanted one and been a Senna fan forever as well. Right now I have my 99 si. Will never get rid of it . To me the 90s got rid of an error of fantastic JDM cars. While not even close to an NSX, 8000 RPM still brings a smile to my face in a car with 210k on it and shows no signs of giving up the original motor. Only been a sub of your channel a couple months but am glad I am now.
I might be cheating a little, 99 S2000, we all know why the S2K is loved, plus I love those first year headlights which I guess didn't meet regulations or something because they didn't come like that on any year after.
@@elykus793 I love the NSX myself but at six foot three and 260 I can't even get in it it's more like putting on a tight pair of pants then getting in a car LOL
Any person who lusts after owning an NSX needs to make it happen. I did last year and it has been the most rewarding automotive experience I've had.
Barry Rodgers a lot of people holding on or selling at a really high price. Will be trying to get a rolling chassis for a swap but no paying 30k+ for one though.
Can I ask how your car is holding up? I've got my eye on two auto nsxs and I am itching to pull the trigger, only issue is I want to make sure it'll be a reliable daily
@@hassanfarhad3492 Mine has been reliable. However this year I had all of the major service done on the car (timing belt, valve adjustment) and had the steering rack rebuilt. I didn't trust anyone local to do the work and shipped the car 3 hours away to a specialist that is known in the community. The total for everything was around $7k. I don't daily my car. I wouldn't really recommend the car for a daily. They are so freaking low to the ground even stock. Any dents put in the aluminum body will be expensive to repair. A broken windshield would be extremely expensive. These are cars to drive on special occasions IMO. I realize some disagree. There is a dude with 300k miles that tracks his all of the time and drives it across the country. :) In your position, I would get a Porsche with PDK for the same money and daily.
@@barryrodgers3039 thanks for your quick reply. Ahh shit, you're the 3rd person to tell me that they wouldn't recommend dailying this car and frankly that's the only reason I want one. I just have no use for having two cars so I really wanted to try and make it work.
Yeah, I am in touch with a few owners and they're very kind people. One of them also dailys his nsx. Its about to hit 290k and i believe he was featured I a few magazines as well.
Such beautiful cars 😍
@@hassanfarhad3492 Having an NSX as your only car would be a little nuts. It is reliable compared to other 30 year old supercars but parts are expensive and getting hard to come by. It is also of the age where automatic transmissions weren't very good which I think you are wanting. I bought mine planning to daily (having another car as a backup). However the car is just too special to expose that often. I've now got a Civic Type R which is the perfect daily driver for me. The NSX comes out on weekends when the weather is nice.
His reaction Is 100% understandable. The NSX might be the most Honda thing Honda has ever done.
Well said! Very well said.
@Sideways G what? Dude please, I'm sure you don't own a NSX and seriously doubt you've ever driven one. The NSX isn't a dragster and it's top end is something most people will never see. Go back to your Playstation and GTA.
@Sideways G aww you mad bro? Hey ass-breath don't try to backpedal. You know you attempted to make a backhanded compliment regarding the NSX's age, speed etc. Sorry, not sorry I called you on it junior. Btw what year is your NSX, how many hours of seat time do you have in it? Answer: you don't have one and ZERO hours of drive time. Sit on it sideways while you Playstation boy. 🤣
@@edmusick7794 ok boomer
@@Flowermouth ok loser...
The NSX looks like a misslle on wheels, and sits like it’s flying, pointy at the front & red at the back, love it
So good! Those low cut bumpers are unmatched 😍
I believe the blacked out greenhouse was inspired by the F14 Tomcat ... So picture it as a jet fighter on wheels and the red tail lights are the afterburners lighting the night sky. 👍
When I was a kid, there was a shop owner in my city that had a red NA2 NSX. Only guy in Lowell MA at the time that had one, I believe (still no one here has one). He parked it in the showroom of his shop, and me and my dad would sometimes drive by it just to see it. One day we went inside, and I just stared at the thing. I must’ve been 6 or 7 at the time, it was not only one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen but also one of the most alien things I ever seen, with it being so low and long, it looked like a little red spaceship. The shop closed a couple years ago, and sometimes I pass by it in my Miata hoping to see the red NSX, but to no avail.
Now I’m 18 studying to become a mechanical engineer, hoping to god I someday make enough money to put a NA1 NSX in my garage next to my Miata. My 2 childhood dream cars; I already have one, already halfway there..
Quinn trying to get pole position on his way home
Man those are some really nice people!
They really are! 👌
Its sex on wheels. Love this car and I haven't even sat in one. Badass video boys!
One of the best NSX reviews I have seen....pure and simple, just react to the circumstances and the vehicle.
what i like about honda is, that even my 2010 Honda Accord Type s brings joy to me and makes me smile every single time im making a kick down acceleration. It sound so agressive..........even thoug its a family sports sedan.
So good to see so many other so excited about the nsx. I absolutely love this car and it is my dream car to own. Someday.
Nice !! I like seeing the driver so happy! Thats a beautiful sight.
This is such an incredibly good looking car. I can't think of any other car that speaks to me so much, other than FD RX-7 or some crazy rare cars like GTO Lusso. So cool that you had a chance to drive it.
The absolute best channel on RUclips for perfect automotive content! IMO
Thank you!
Love your review on the nsx,my 92 is a keeper for 26years now ,with 21,910miles not sure if we will have a car season this year ,live the black car
I have a Spa Yellow 97 since 97. It's in the shop now for maintenance. It's been there for three weeks and I feel like I have been separated from my soul.
I had a 1992 3000GT VR-4, such an excellent machine... it’s week link was the transmission synchro’s though. If I were able to I would want a Subaru 22B. But I don’t have $100K+ to spend on a car...
I agree, very cool car. Love everything about the car. I am in the market for mine.
I so want a 2003 NSX-R, but sadly the prices are unreachable. The only saving grace is that Spoon will take a normal NSX and turn it into an NSX-R PLUS (using many of the factory parts), as well as making it even lighter with some Spoon carbon body-work. However, even that is way out of my budget :(. It's nice to dream though - and we all know the "Power of Dreams" ;).
lol. The prices for these are a hard pill to swallow. A 3.2L 6 spd model starts around 60k now. That's quite the premium for a RWD DC2 Integra with hopped up Accord V6 keeekeeekeee ;) But in all honesty I still want one hardcore lmao
I think they're sick, there's a wicked red one in Syd.
Great job guys 👍🏼🙏🏽 is the car stock. Engine wise.? Nice touch on the steering wheel BJ
The nsx has one of the best sounding engines ever. Years ago before i ever heard exhaust videos of an nsx, i was driving down the highway and saw an nsx with a loud exhaust and my god hearing that car in person was intoxicating, literally. He was just cruising too but that exhaust was purring. I think the only other car to blow my mind hearing while driving behind was an old viper.
Mid engine cars rotate so well around corners and you can't beat the balance of them. True race cars have to be mid engine. I think the answer to the nsx for us poorer folks is an old porsche boxster. Those cars are highly underrated.
RSX steering wheel looks great!
14:17.
You should do almost mainly Touge content included on your videos. This road, imagery, lighting and sound quality will make you one of the most interesting Touge Content creator on youtube.
Put your effort on it. Will worth it.
Good skills by the way. Keep'em coming.
Quinn how does the nsx compare to your FD?
The channel needs an nsx
I will buy it, even wrecked for 25K
Awesome review!! That noise is intoxicating! Do you prefer this or the s2000?
They both have their merits. Being an owner of an S2000, I can honestly say that I want to own an NSX as well. Badly.
After seeing this kinda wondering what cars should Quinn get rid off to buy an NSX... Quinn is probably thinking about it too!
Nut.
NSX in the $40k range could be in the garage if you do some searching!! Sell some (Mazda and BMW) toys to make room :P cool vid and love the passion from you all. 1999 NSX Zanardi would be my dream car!!
I love how everyone that said they wouldn't beat on the car, immediately went and beat on the car. Just couldn't resist huh?
I own a 1993 NSX, it's a truly amazing car. I might be tempted to sell it for the right price.
Ed Musick how many miles I’m on the hunt for one. Thanks!
@@imachamp88 can you DM?
Ed Musick not sure how dm? Are you on ig or Facebook? Thanks!
@@imachamp88 IG only
I used to want one of these so bad but to me it's just not enough car for the money. Especially here in Japan where they are a lot more expensive than they are back in the states. To put it in perspective I have a 6sp single JZA80 with 700whp and my entire cost of the car with the current set up costs less than a stock NSX.
Understandable , but something about this car makes me want to own one regardless of the car being slow for the price people ask for them
I have a 1997 Grand Prix white NSX . Awesome car but who put that steering wheel on it?
3.2 + 6 Speed NA1 would be my first choice for an NSX ;)
I'm just gonna say it... whoever put that RSX steering wheel did a disservice to the car
Car group looks like ordinary traffic
Listen to these sailors...
Someone forgot to edit in the bleeps for this one.....Bryunnn
The Slip Angle maybe you sailors should watch your potty mouths! 🤭😂
Wanted to see you eject a cassette tape :( NSX dream...
Quinn is goin to sell his soul and buy one for sure.....
I want one so bad!
Sucks these cars aren't $20k anymore even then it was lot now $50k never happening. Would love one though 😍
Exactly! I remember those days 10 years ago.
@@KeenanStyles yes around that time there were $20k TT 6 spd MK4 and $10k FD too bad I just got out of high school lol. Now everything is double or more and new cars are blah lol
I agree. I'm kicking myself for missing the mark on these.
@@FATmenDRIVEtrucks I bought my current A80 RZ for $4800USD from the USS Tokyo Auction in 2015. Back then I missed an opportunity to buy a 6sp RZ A80 for 10k obo. The dude couldn't give that car away. Nobody would take it because it couldnt be brought back to the US. My first BNR32 only set me back 5k and my second was only 7k in 2014 I miss those days
@@TheSlipAngle yeah times were crazy back in the day. I remember being on in Okinawa and people donating cars to others left and right. My brother's roommate got a R32 GTS-4 for free. GTS-T R32s were going for $1000 on average and NA Auto JZA80s you could get them all day long for $500.
4.4 or 4.3 ring and pinion sluggishness gone
4.23 gears and lightened flywheel and the car feels very very different. Sluggishness goes away completely
That guy that did the review was a total tool. I wouldn't let him drive my wife's MDX, let alone my NSX...
if I owned one.
Too low for a daily, unless your commute is driving on glass
BJ seems to be rocking it pretty well. I've passed him several times over the years on my daily commute before even knowing him.
I wanted to watch this since I love the NSX, have a 1991(second owner) since 2001, and it is so much fun to drive. But only made two minutes, such foul language. Why do you have to talk like that?
Scheiße BMW 🤮🤮🤮🤮 🤣😂🤣
