    I fell in love with this car in 1991 when they first came out, and wanted one ever since. A couple of years ago, I got the chance to drive one. Now I HAVE TO HAVE ONE. It is my next life goal to get one of these cars as soon as possible. I’ve never driven a car that was as poised, precise, and balanced as the NSX. Is it the fastest car? No. Is it the best driving experience for the money? Absolutely. It’s a total package car. Performance, sound, reliability, and handling all rolled into one car.

      We're very happy to be driving you to finally get one! The reliability in particular is something none of its competitors (then and even more so, now) can touch, plus it's exhillerating to drive and so easy on the eyes. Keep us posted on your purchase!

      @@TheCarCrush thanks! I agree 100% with something else you said in the video. If you don’t like this car, you clearly haven’t driven one.

    Glad I've had my 97 since 97
    I feel vindicated as to never have lusted for another sports car. Mine is in for a much need maintenance check and follow thru where needed. It's reliability is a blessing and a curse because you tend to forget its not ever in need of maintenance. By the way thanks for the feedback on those coilovers I had them on my wishlist for this maintenance cycle. 😀 now I'll pull the trigger and get them ordered.

      I totally hear you on the maintenance being a blessing and a curse. As for the KW, you will be incredibly happy and I think it will feel like an entirely new car! Excited for you

      Look into Ohlins DFV coil overs if you value ride and handling. They are much better than kwv3

      @@naisbest3020 great now you tell me, I have the V3s in my garage 😆 waiting to be installed hopefully this coming week.

      @@robertsullivan4773 still a good coil over system, I’d rank them as the bottom of the best.
      Ohlins is a step above, and JRZ are the top of the food chain.

    The change in Nick's face at 4:15 pretty much sums up the NSX.

      Yep this US NSX was in Japan for a while so needed some lighting mods to be registered there, including the Honda-badged rear valence (which is why the owner then replaced all the rest of the Acura badges with Honda). It also has the updated rear bumper.

    Does that say "NEWCOMBS RANCH" in the background? Ironic, my last name is Newcomb, and I own a 91 NSX

    • @TheCarCrush
      @TheCarCrush  2 года назад +1

      Yes! Newcomb’s Ranch is a famous meet point at the top of Angeles Crest Highway. Looks like you need to bring your NSX to LA and head up to Newcomb’s

      KW Version 3 coil overs, Car felt great and doesn't beat you up on city streets, As for this or the 997 2S, Nick has a 997.1 GT3 RS and now he wants an NSX! Thanks for watching!

      Nick here, the other half of The Car Crush, we've heard that sentiment before from some other enthusiast friends of ours. We'd really love to, the contrast of OEM versus this would be interesting to see and feel, for sure.

    If the front wheels are normal 17", then what are rears? They look bigger than the fronts. Optical illusion maybe?

      Until 2001, the fronts were 16” and rear was 17”. Starting 2002, the fronts were also 17” and the rears stayed 17” but the tire went from 245 to 255 width.

    NSX or a 997.2 S Manual?

    • @TheCarCrush
      @TheCarCrush  2 года назад

      Nick here speaking as I can't speak for Joe but if it were me between these 2 cars, I'd go with an NSX personally. If it were between the NSX and a GT3 this would be a tougher question to answer. With that said, the NSX seems to be considerably more expensive than the S...
