Thank you for the information. Exactly what I was looking for. I'm trying to connect my Chromecast google tv with the Anker hub to my tv monitor tv but I got the message Not enough power. My usb c wall charger gives a maximum of 12 watts only. Now I know more power gonna solve my problem. Also I was wondering if I an usb to ethernet adapter gonna work from the hub, so you gave the answer. Do you think a 65 watts wall charger gonna be ok too?

You mentioned a capture card. Can I use that to capture my Chromecast screen?
The capture card I mentioned, is a UVC device that acts as a webcam so Chrome OS detects it as such. You can use it to plug it into a PC and connect the Chromecast to the capture card and capture the Chromecast screen from your PC.
Can I download movies directly in the external drive using beetv etc…

Yes it does. I have a Bluetooth controller, keyboard, and mouse hooked up to mine. That's what I love about Android. It's so versatile and open, unlike Apple which is sooooo restricted.

Never tried the HDMI port on the USB hub when plugged into the Chromecast, but it would be interesting to see what happens.

This is so stupid! Why would I connect so many cables. I wanted to buy this thing but when I found out that it has such silly low internal memory I changed my mind. Shame on you Google!
