Whenever I knock on relatives’ doors, I always say, “Landshark.” It’s been a joke in my family since these Landshark skits first aired. 😂😂😂
This is when SNL had that low budget feel, like it was a public access show. Made it so much funnier.
When I was a kid, Everytime someone knocked, Mom would say "candygram"..or she'd knock on my bedroom door "candygram" and laugh and laugh..
I love how the Landshark pretends to be Chevy Chase.
The land shark sketch is still comedy gold. R.I.P to the legendary John Belushi.

Man, almost 50 years later and this stuff is still hilarious. The voice of the shark is so funny, polite yet sly, especially his radio segment, lololol
And that is the real reason why the "peephole" was invented.
"Get a posse? Surround the area? Walkie talkies? Maybe carry some harpoons?" XD!
