When I see clips from the old shows I often think that performers from the "Not Ready for Prime Time" gang were not as self-aware as later casts who may have seen the show largely for its career-promoting potential. After Tina Fey left I completely lost interest.

I just watched this with my teen. I was telling her the name of all the comedians as they appeared on the screen. "Who", "How old is this", and "Are any of these people still alive"? Kids really know how to make you feel old.
Oh she was WAAAAAY past merely “beautiful”. She was TRULY STUNNING. She was a BIG time model in her youth with incredibly symmetrical bone structure and is still lovely.

my dad and i did this bit a lot when i was a teen- he'd come to empty my wastebasket always around the same time, so when he knocked i'd yell "LANDSHARK??" and he'd say "candygram."
I saw the first episode by accident freshman year and saw the first four years which corresponded perfectly with high school. A few clunker episodes, but very few....
To his credit the Landshark is always very polite and courteous to his victims!
