My ex dumped me for another woman he just met and after five months of no contact I reached out to let him know he was on my mind a lot.He got me to call him.We talked civil.He asked how my dating was going.I said it wasn't because I'm not dating anyone and have no plans to.He told me his relationship with the other woman was on the rocks because she was tired of him not giving her enough of his time.He works long hours and his job comes first.I knew that and endured that for three years and she lasted only a few months.He destroyed our relationship for this woman and now he plans on staying single because I told him no woman would put up with him not being able to give his time to the relationship.I still love him though but the trust has been broken.

You can't heal in a couple of months, that's impossible, the ex probably told all of their friends about the breakup and they've been told that they are the victim so they feel no remorse for whatever they did and they move on, but it always catches up to them, trust me, my ex told me that she doesn't want me, doesn't love me, but gets jealous when I talk to other women

If your ex breaks with you, and in less than three months( my ex was two officially) they are woth someone else, that is the rebounder. Bro I feel for you. I am going through the same thing in a 9yr relationship. We have a 4 yr old together and 2 12yr olds (we brought 1 kid each to the relationship.) I'm workin on myself too, quit smoking, putting on weight and started working out. I want to keep the family together but I can't. She isn't willing to meet me in the middle, I've changed myself throughout the yrs to try and become the man she wants but have come to find that no matter what I do, my actions are taken for granted. I have recently come to the realization that all I've done this whole time is build myself learning the aspects of becoming a partner for someone. A great thing that has come from this relationship is that I've learned how to communicate emotionally, I've learned how to stop asking for so much help with stuff and to just figure it out on my own. Honestly, I found a genuine and loving relationship late in life so I’ve been through a few mistakes. When you love or respect someone you will not leave them, you will try your hardest to be true to your partner in a healthy loving relationship. If someone can up and leave you it’s not real love, it’s something but not real. I was one of those people reluctant to accept the facts when an ex dumped me. I just kept thinking they will be back. Until I dared to live my life single and I finally met a good guy I could grow with. Bro I feel for you. I am going through the same thing in a 9yr relationship. We have a 4 yr old together and 2 12yr olds (we brought 1 kid each to the relationship.) I'm workin on myself too, quit smoking, putting on weight and started working out. I want to keep the family together but I can't. She isn't willing to meet me in the middle, I've changed myself throughout the yrs to try and become the man she wants but have come to find that no matter what I do, my actions are taken for granted. I have recently come to the realization that all I've done this whole time is build myself learning the aspects of becoming a partner for someone. A great thing that has come from this relationship is that I've learned how to communicate emotionally, I've learned how to stop asking for so much help with stuff and to just figure it out on my own. Honestly, I found a genuine and loving relationship late in life so I’ve been through a few mistakes. When you love or respect someone you will not leave them, you will try your hardest to be true to your partner in a healthy loving relationship. If someone can up and leave you it’s not real love, it’s something but not real.
I was one of those people reluctant to accept the facts when an ex dumped me. I just kept thinking they will be back. Until I dared to live my life single and I finally met a good guy I could grow with.

Yeah and a half. She Freaked out, moved out. Started seeing 4 people within two months although she swore she’s going to “do her” and “remain single for a year”. She has what’s commonly referred to as avoidment attachment syndrome. I’m still healing, it’s my third month.
