I’m in a very dry environment. Should I be adding less tylose to get a softer paste?

Hi! While adding lesser tylose may help to get a softer paste, it will also lose the overall structure & the stretchability of the gumpaste you are making. I would suggest adding more shortening instead to counter the dryness :)
