    Uzuri Gardens is a planet coaster park. This planet coaster let's play series features adventure theming from an adventure park similar to islands of adventure in orlando florida. this planet coaster series will feature a zoo, animal enclosures, roller coasters, and more! planet coaster is the virtual successor to rollercoaster tycoon 3. in today's episode we work on the uzuri gardens GCI silverback by silvarret. we incorporate this wooden coaster into its surroundings and provide a custom station and lots of foliage

    The PoV of the coaster really made me appreciate Silvarret's coaster work so much more than I did watching him build it haha. Seeing that made me realize the value of putting in such great time, great probs to Silvarret!

    Maybe one of the airplane flat rides in the Silver back area, tie it into the hanger theme? Also you may want to put the Uzuri Gardens park logo on the wall section on the coaster since it is visible from the road?

    Love the idea of this queue. Of an airstrip, in the middle of the jungle, abandoned and recliamed by nature. Really great idea. I second the idea of a biplane set piece. That's not crashed but rusted away from being unused and was also recliamed. And _somehow,_ it has gorilla decals on it.

    Love the series, guys. I enjoy getting to see a different style out of you with the bigger budget park, and being able to build off of each other's ideas has made it really entertaining to watch. I'm a former operations manager with a big park chain here in the USA, so I always look at the operator's areas in Planet Coaster. I love that you both build "backstage" areas that are important to every park. That being said, when it comes to areas where operators actually work from (operators booths, in this case), visibility is key. Monitors are usually only used for areas that can be controlled by the operator but are outside of an operator's line of sight (in this case, behind the foliage would mean the brake run would have monitors). Both the station and the lift hill are still in the operator's view, so having a chain link fence there to block the operator off (even though you can see through them) would usually be a big no. Line of sight for operators is just as important as the sight lines for guests.

    In the area between the silverback, the “calamari safari”, and the sea lion experience, you guys should go with the midway idea suggested in the video. However I would expand on the idea and make it an interactive garden. Place a few small winding pathes in circles or what not, have flowers and bushes and trees maybe some cactus or something, A fountain or two, but also maybe small exhibits you see it zoos where there’s just like a parrot or two in it. It would allow you to fill the area in a way that doesn’t seem congested but it also brings together the three attractions in the nearby area, and it also allows you to expand upon the gardens in the park title.

    I am glad that Uzuri is not leaving. I like the fact that you're actually able to do more than make theme parks in Planco.
    Thank you, Masked and Geekism!

    I definitely remember Busch Gardens having midway games and such when I went. Structures were heavily themed, but there was still that flashy midway element with the prizes and sounds. I'd love to see you guys tackle that.
    Good job tackling this build btw, Bandit. Just goes to show that you should push through even if you may not feel the vibe yet. It came out great!

    Since its the silvervack, it would be dope if u made a primate complex near the enterance, like a trail that leads to a gibbon, chimp, and ultimately a gorilla exhibit. Just an idea, Idk which of those are on the workshop. I recommend looking at the omaha zoos exhibits google, it's a great zoo

    I really am digging the look of all of this. I know the area isn't done but i would seriously consider some netting around where you have the queue above/next to the track for the safety of the riders in case someone drops something or would throw something at a passing train you have something to catch it.

  • @seanthecomentator
    @seanthecomentator 5 лет назад

    Just a little tip for the transfer track on the gci, most gcis have the moving part as part of their maintenance shed, so if you look at Troy or Wodan, there are two tracks right next to eachother that move and the track that isn't the main running track is the actual maintenance track so the trains literally sit on there and don't move to another section. There is also a dividing wall between these track pieces so it can make them hard to spot sometimes

    I'm really enjoying the collaboration of this series, and I must admit I like the idea of seeing a few more rides before Planet Zoo comes out. That's when you'll really get to unleash all the zoo knowledge the two of you have brought to this series to full effect, and I'm looking forward to that.

    Two things: silverback gifts sounds wrong. It should be a little more eloquent like silverback souvenir, or more themed to gorillas, less the banana hoard or something.
    You should also make a trivet element that transforms the Silverback sign in front with a color changing sign element (literally make the silv part become silver or the whole sign become silver).

    Fantastic work this week Masked - You have enhanced an already amazing looking coaster into a perfectly themed attraction :-) I def vote for the Giant Gorilla statue in the courtyard if someone on TMTK can make it happen. I think Jonti is right on the money with thinking most parks would go this way.

    The queue in itself is really good! You're right to be proud!
    Having such a big opening in the wooden structure of the ride for such a small path doesn't really make sens tho.. (if I may...)
    With the slop, it's a bit difficult to have a big plaza but maybe it would be worth it to redo the terrain to fit some more concrete or to add some stairs.

    The open area, maybe a flat ride and a Bistro? Like a giant restaurant themed into the area. Would makes sense for the back of the building being so close to the road for resupply.

  • @steampossum7905
    @steampossum7905 5 лет назад

    This came out excellent! I think you really managed to capture the feel of this sort of Sea World style park with that queue area, and I love the teasing views of the track throughout.
    One thing I did notice is that the second train winds up waiting on the lift hill for quite some time until the first train clears the course, so it may be a nice idea to add some sort of shade tunnel to keep guests out of the sun while waiting for the track to clear.
    Keep up the great work! I'm very much looking forward to the continuation of this series as well what you two do with Planet Zoo once it comes out!

    • @maskedbandit102
      @maskedbandit102  5 лет назад +1

      Once the ride is open to guests, we'll set the release time to make it so the train doesn't sit atop the lift, as that's really unusual for a coaster to do.

  • @cameron3320
    @cameron3320 5 лет назад +4

    Not sure it it's possible, but the stairs on the exit would make the ride unaccessible for handicapped riders. You could use the tower to disguise the elevator.

  • @rd9102
    @rd9102 5 лет назад

    Fantastic work, looks beautiful and i completely agree about redoing the exit building to fit the theme more. I also like the idea of a sign on the wooden turn on the back of the coaster kind of like the dragon ride at Rye Playland...or at least i think it used to be like that, it is in my memory anyways even if it has been 30+ years since i have been there.

I really look forward to seeing how you tie it together with the existing park and the backstage areas (I'm especially looking forward to the backstage and road getting some attention). The station area looks fantastic, but those fences at the end half of the queue are way too low, anywhere the path is right up against or above the coaster tracks should have fences that are taller than the peeps for safety, and both bridges should have coaster nets too to prevent people throwing things over the side at the cars as they go past.

    • @maskedbandit102
      @maskedbandit102  5 лет назад +1

      I personally like that little peak at backstage. I figure that at some point, you're going to see some backstage type stuff on a ride.

    • @AnotherAnnoyingVegan
      @AnotherAnnoyingVegan 5 лет назад

      Gotcha and I agree that the peak into the backstage area works well. I meant rockwork either half of or the full the height of the chain link fence. With the other moments the ride crosses the path your attention is drawn forward so the backstage isn't as prominent. With a park focused on this level of detail Im not sure they would be okay with the most exciting part of the ride be a service road in full view. The tunnel after the first drop is the of the ride and shows the backstage as a large focal point and then dives right back into the full themeing of the park. If you still want to keep that backstage peak with the rock entrance you could probably put a garbage truck crossing over the tunnel. It might also work well to replace the chain fence with a wooden one. Also I liked the idea of having some sort of pattern on the sound barrier. With all of that being said I really enjoy watching this park develop into an incredible park. That Queue is amazing and shows the ride off really well.

      I don't think so, personally, as I hope the changes in how the game is coded makes Planet Zoo so much more superior than Planet Coaster that they would be incompatible.
