Thank you to all who have commented, love all the Planet Coaster 2 hype! I've listed a few minor corrections and notes below (big thanks to all who pointed these out).
    CORRECTIONS:
    - There is a second operating Giant Inverted Boomerang model: Stunt Fall at Parque Warner Madrid (sorry for forgetting you, Stunt Fall).
    - Storm Chaser is not a ground up RMC - it is a conversion of Twisted Twins, a dueling wooden coaster manufactured by Custom Coasters International.
    - Kingda Ka is 456 feet (139 meters) tall, I misspoke in the video.
    NOTES:
    - Many of the coaster models have names that reference real world coasters. I mentioned some in the video but viewers noticed a few others: notably, 'Rival' (B&M Invert) is probably a nod to Alton Towers' 'Nemesis,' one of the world's first inverts. 'Enigma' (B&M Stand-Up) is a nod to Six Flags Magic Mountain's 'Riddler's Revenge,' as Edward Nigma is the name of The Riddler in DC Comics. The list goes on but these few stood out!

Speaking of the Boomerang ( 11:10 )'s trains, Vekoma did replace some of the "Arrow" trains with the newer round nose designs trains , example Boomerang at Bellewaerde park, Belgium (Wich was the first one to open in 1984) later on

    Let’s go he’s back!!!
Great video overall, but I did want to point out a few minor things I caught:
Aftershock isn’t the only Giant Inverted Boomerang left, Stunt Fall at Parque Warner Madrid is still operating as well.
Storm Chaser wasn’t ground up, it was a conversion of one side of Twisted Twins, a dueling CCI hybrid.
Kingda Ka stands at 456 feet, not 452 feet.
Thunderbird wasn’t the only/first launched wing coaster, Furius Baco was built in 2007 (I’m assuming you meant it was the only launched one built by B&M)
Overall though, great job on the video and I love your content!

Overall great video! But a few minor mistakes I spotted:
The first of the larger B&M Dive Coasters was ShieKra at Busch Gardens Tampa, built in 2005. Griffon was just the first to have floorless trains.
Storm Chaser was a conversion of Twisted Twins, a defunct pair of dueling CCI roller coasters.
Kingda Ka is 456ft tall as opposed to being 452.
But overall, great video and it's cool to see you back!

I'm almost certain that the RMC Raptor model will make it into Planet Coaster 2. I think PC2 will also benefit from having tutorials like Planet Zoo did, and it would be even better if Chris Sawyer and Simon Foster did those. Chris Sawyer could go over the more technical aspects, while Simon Foster could go over the aesthetic and scenic aspects. I highly doubt we'll be that fortunate though...

You mentioned my home park in here, and that made me feel good.
Planet Coaster always confused me with the model names. Why not just refer to them as what they are, like RCT did? I could never get into it, really.

Well this is interesting. Last time I read up on the Dive Coaster, it said that Griffon was the only installation to have 10-across seating. It was from Wikipedia, so I'm guessing whoever put that into the article didn't take into account the Chinese installations, Dive Coaster and Diving Coaster. (Yeah, I don't understand the way they name most of their coasters. Pretty sure there's quite a few cool-sounding phrases or even single words that would translate well into English.) Some of the newer Dive Coasters actually feature the old 6-across seating that Oblivion originally had, before it got 8-across trains. These include Krake at Heide Park, Oblivion: The Black Hole at Gardaland, Baron 1898 at Efteling, Valkyria at Liseberg, and Emperor at SeaWorld San Diego. And of course you've got the evry recent Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger at Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Iron Menace at Dorney Park, which not only feature unique 7-across trains but beyond-vertical 95 degree drops. I wonder if we'll see the latter implemented into the upcoming sequel...

Also, while the Smiler and Karacho were installed the year, the Smiler was installed first, and as such is the original Infinity Coaster. One thing I immediately noticed when I first laid eyes on the Infinite model in game is that the paint scheme shown in the icon (which I also believe is the default paint scheme when you first place the station) is an exact match for the Smiler. The only thing missing is the ride's iconic smiley face logo on the front.

@10:20 the Floorless Dive or Vertical Dive coaster model used was originally used on the SheiKra at BGT and after a year Griffin was made but they added 15 feet to the drop and removed the floor on the trains. A year later the SheiKra would get the same floorless train design which became the new norm for this model until the wing/4-seater dive era came.

It's kinda funny to me, how there are some insanly niche models in the Game, while it still lacks some way more common ones 😂

The Six Flags New England SLC was renamed from Mind Eraser to The Riddler Revenge (no " 's "), and repainted green with yellow supports.

The Schwarzkopf Looper in the game is not the same as the thick track model as Shockwave and Riddler Mindbender. The loops are also different as those as well

4:12 is this the same type of coaster of Diabolic Invertigo in Movieland: The Hollywood Park, in Italy, Lake Garda (Lazise)? (I'm talking about Aftershock, Silverwood)
7:40 another example of a Vekoma SLC + Helix - Blu Tornado (1998), Gardaland (Theme: A flight on a military fighter; colours: Blue, White, Light Blue, red seats, black restraints)
8:20 and another example of a B&M Inverted - Katun (2000), Mirabilandia Parks (Parques Reunidos), Ravenna - Emilia Romagna - (Theme: Maya civilization)
16:45 (last thing) Since I am Italian, I am proud of the fact that Gardaland had the honor of hosting the very first Wing Coaster built by B&M

While the Giant Inverted Boomerang is similar to the smaller Invertigo variant, there are some differences. The trains on the Invertigo have rows with the riders facing each other and the lifthills aren't vertical like on the giant inverted boomerang.

I’m 9 times out of 10 sure that storm chaser was a conversion from the twisted twins that operated with the original six flags branding and when the owners of Kentucky kingdom bought the park out they converted it. That’s a tip!

F-25 is named as such because it was for Frontiers 25th anniversary. Typhoon is called such because of the Eurofighter Typhoon, as the in real life ride model is the Eurofighter. Mind melt is called that because they literally cause migraines. Rival is called that because of the dueling (and therefore rival tracks) of Dueling Dragons. There is a lot more but I can’t be bothered to comment them.

absolutely great video. i know these things take a long time to make but i would love one for the rides in planco aswell. i know that sky temple is made by intamin and is based of pagode at efteling; the star wheel is the wheel at california adventure/pixar pier. horror height is tower of terror and victory (the pirate ship) seems to be based on the Halve Maen at efteling considering they have the same amount of rows and that is the world record holder for largest ship but that one could also be based on the one at draton manor. but i would love to know more

One thing I’ll say, there’s a 3rd Intaming Wing Coaster you haven’t mentioned at Energylandia called Hyperion :)
Can’t wait for Planet Coaster 2! I’m currently building a final park on the channel to celebrate the end of the Planet Coaster 1 era!

    • @YannBK1608
      @YannBK1608 2 месяца назад

@@DoswarePictures I’ve always considered it an Intamin wing coaster because it has the same unique style as the other two wing coasters despite having a floor :)
I suppose you’re right though, it is open to interpretation!
