    Yeah, I love the vibe of this park already :-) And, obviously, pride to whom pride deserves: THE BACK OF THE WINDOWS! The star of the show ;-)

    Jon saying "nobody want to see me tile the roof there" made me cry :(
    Am i nobody to you?!
    Love this project btw :D
    This style is soooooo my jam.
    Makes me think to put some kind of safari/adventuretheme in my park too..

    • @maskedbandit102
      @maskedbandit102  5 лет назад

      LOL! To be honest, I'm actually really proud of that roof, as I varied the height and offset them from row to row--one of my best. :P

    ❤️ it! You and Jonti never leave a detail out. The idea of using the spiderweb for wall texture is perfect. I thought it was a shadow. Great effect. Great job you guys!

    • @maskedbandit102
      @maskedbandit102  5 лет назад

      Thanks so much! Yeah, that spiderweb trick was picked up on BroNation. Really useful and this was my first time using it. It's on a few of the different buildings and just helps add some extra depth.

    You should open the cafe doors and put a restaurant price in there.

  • @Sdanwolf
    @Sdanwolf 5 лет назад +8

    Ha, Sdanwolf.. what a tool 😂 Man absolutely incredible build! As far as the parking lot goes I think you Mike & Wings&Strings ruined us with NoNameLandia’s EPIC parking lot & road so it’s become quite a requirement nowadays for any respectable park 😅

    • @maskedbandit102
      @maskedbandit102  5 лет назад +1

      HA! I am NOT doing a highway with an off ramp and all that, lol. If Jonti wants to, he's more than welcome. :P

    What I've seen so far is FANTASTIC!!!!! Although, i would add an underwater viewing area for any animal that would spend most of its time in the water. (Hippos)

    Oh my LORD! This is absolutely epic!! 😍 Such an amazing front entrance area! Those buildings are ‘huge’ but right in proportion for such an epic park! Also, please keep the ‘Witty Cafe’ 🤣 Just so you!!

  • @karlbotterbrodt6658

    The entry into this new park is looking amazing. I also love the attention to Detail that Jaunty has put to the exhibits! I'm really looking forward to seeing more!
    Also, have either of you experienced The Adventurer's Club in the former Pleasure Island area of the former Downtown Disney?
    The exterior of the building just screams "Adventure" (for obvious reasons). The club itself had the largest cult following of anything I know in Disney. over 10 years later, and it's fans still get together regularly. They even have pop-up throwback performances with original cast-members.
    Check out the exterior, and if you've never been, you can find countless youtube videos of the shenanigans going on inside. It was a comedy-theater experience set in the 30's that rotated through the various rooms, featuring a rotating cast of characters in much the way a murder mystery would be performed (minus the murder). I believe it was designed by Joe Rhode (Of Animal Kingdom).
    I think it'll make the perfect exterior for a high-end restaurant somewhere within your zoo. even the exterior is full of its own gags and quirkiness.
    Check it out!

    • @karlbotterbrodt6658
      @karlbotterbrodt6658 5 лет назад

      Oh, I forgot to mention that this club is part of SEA (the Society of Explorer's and Adventurers). The society links various Disney attractions and characters around the world. From the owner operator of the Skipper Cantina in Magic Kingdom, to the Owner of Mysterious Manor in Hong Kong Disneyland, and even the Owner of Hotel Hightower in Tokyo Disney Springs!

      You can check this out for a bit of history. But I'm really sharing it with you to introduce to you, what I think, may be your new theme song... "The Do Ray Me Drinking Song" (The 8 min. mark)

      Glad to hear it--timelapses are great, but I prefer a realtime section at the end to get some good looks at what we've done. Helps piece it all together better than a few cinematics at the end of an episode.

    This awesome new theme park looks like a combination of Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Disney’s Animal Kingdom! I might wanna do an awesome theme park idea that combines Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Universal’s Islands of Adventure that celebrates the animal kingdom and conservation! It’s gonna be awesome! I can have animals of our world, animals of the prehistoric past, and mythological animals from the world of mythology and legends!

    If you look at maps of real parks, the big water features, lakes and rivers and everything, all connect up, like there will be different kinds in each quadrant but they're all connected by waterways and integrated features. They're not isolated pockets.
    Also, witty cafe name suggestion: Doctor Livingston I Consume

    • @maskedbandit102
      @maskedbandit102  5 лет назад

      Yeah, that makes sense, I'd assume it has a lot to do with water treatment. Easier to have it all connected.

    Just out of interest - I use a bare minimum thememakers stuff because of the excessive loading times - which from your comments seems to be your approach too - do you think there is any way frontier could fix this or is it just the nature of the way thememakers content is imported?

    The most difficult thing with starting parks is I just can’t get anywhere. I start it up and then I’m like “well I have an idea but I don’t know what to do...” then I just sit there afraid to do anything.

    • @maskedbandit102
      @maskedbandit102  5 лет назад

      Never be afraid--just go for it. I know what you mean, though. What really helps is having a strong reference when you start, that way you kind of already know where you want to end up.

    MY COMMENT GOT MENTIONED! but in all seriousness why is everything adobe here?

    • @maskedbandit102
      @maskedbandit102  5 лет назад

      Adobe? As in the wall materials? B/C that's kind of the vibe of the entrance area of IoA, our main inspiration, as well as we need to use windows as walls, and that's the only texture that you can use when using that technique.

    • @zacpatproductions2052
      @zacpatproductions2052 5 лет назад

      maskedbandit Adobe here in New Mexico is usually bricks smoothed in one side and shows the bricks on the other, Adobe isn’t really supposed to be built that high, so the entrance more comes off as African/Arabian sandstone rather than a more americano hardened clay

What would Silvarret or Rudi Rennkamel say....geez! (Oh, and you knnnooooowwww....you secretly know that Earl had to look up the spelling on ALL the aforementioned names! Unbelievable! But, perhaps more consequently, what would...the maskedbandit have to say?
