Great talent. Food for thought...instead of the music, I bet you'd get a ton of RUclips hits if you'd Narrate through prepping, paint technique, and reveal...the very beginning to the end for us newbies. Great talent with instructions would be a hit...there just isn't a all encompassing tutorial video out here...other than those showing you a little and telling you to contact them ($$$) for more details. Cheers!
Curious about the details also. Looks like a Harbor Freight purple warrior 1.3mm for the primer. Curious about the needle size and pressures for the base coat and clear. You showing the 180 grit sandpaper for the failing clear coat was very helpful - I've got the same year, same style truck with the EXACT same problem. But, at 22 years old, I can't really blame the paint since its spent its life out in the Florida sun.
That’s a fantastic job man! So do you paint with the garage door open while you spray? If so how open do you keep it and what is the way you ventilate the garage? Super grateful to you for showing us how it’s done!
Love your videos. You do great work. I took auto body at a tech school in Valdosta, GA about 14 yrs. ago. Instructer said my paint job was the best ever at that school. Before we did anythying we washed the entire vehicle with Tide. Why do you sand over dirt? I never had fish eye. Prep car then wash with Tide again.
What steps do you take to prevent debris landing on the surface while spraying in an open area like that? It seems like a pretty open work area which I'm starting to deal with more often and like to hear about the different setups guys use. Thanks.
I have that same color truck that i am repainting as well any chance that you got that paint code or is it like mine PBJ. or the mixing ratios that they used.
Do you buy it from the website or some one local carries it? I'm a painter here in Dallas I'm asking because I'm looking for a different clear to use I'm switching over from the advantage 545 it's a really good clear just want to see what else is out there.
I have one more question I have seen other guys use finer grit sand paper than 320 do you think it really makes for a better paint job I’m working on a single cab for my kid and we are getting ready to start on the body Thanks
Your videos are so amazing to me, I bought a compressor, a cheap gun, and I'm gonna try my hand at it. I wouldn't have tried before seeing them. Thanks. This might be hella fun, and I should get better with practice. What the hell!!

Great job, what gun did you use?
Thank You, I used the SATAjet 5000 B RP for clear and the SATAjet 3000 HVLP for paint
I thought you would have to primer the whole truck before painting it? Is that correct?
Edward Bautista you don't need primer if the color your spraying is the same
, you would only need to prime the worked area's like body filler ECT...
which ppg paint did you use for the basecoat and where did you buy it from.
place was in www.colorsourceinc.net/

Too much bad music

Sorry dude.. It's just that your commentary is so good, and much better than the music, which is also quite good. :)
@@TomCraigCanvasHost Thanks ya I stopped the music i'll do just commentary from now on
Why the shitty music? I'd rather hear an informative narration. Just my two cents. Man, that music SUCKED.
Yes I know I stopped putting music on all of my other videos
