I don’t know about anyone else but I’ve been here for years and have grown to enjoy you not what you’re living in. Your life is an adventure. You have become a friend who I’ve never met. I just like getting glimpses of what a different adventure could have looked like if I had taken more of the road you have taken. Just keep doing you. I fully agree. I live my wanderlust through Alex. I chose a traditional life of marriage, home, steady career when all I really wanted to do is live free and roam. I enjoy Alex's adventures no matter where she roams.
I watch channels where people do all sorts of things, it switches up all the time. I watch because those things are typically interesting but mostly because I like the people in them. They themselves are interesting and I enjoy their style of video/editing. Don't stress too much about putting out specific content, the people that like you will stay regardless and you'll likely reach a wider audience.
Stumbled on this and just watched to say thank you... that was actually very encouraging to me too as a new first time mom content creator.

Silent subscriber for a few years from the UK here. I started watching a ton of US nomads way back because I was interested to see the bits of the US those of us over the pond would otherwise rarely get to know about. I've stuck to a very small handful over the years, of which you are one. The simple reason for that is you come across as so inherently honest, grounded, thoughtful and kind. I wholeheartedly agree with a number of other comments, many of us are here for you as a whole person, not just the adventures you have (as fun as they are). I don’t know if you know about Trent & Allie or Elsa & Barron? I can keep naming RUclipsrs who started living in a camper or sprinter van now building their own homes. I’ve followed them for years now, I’m so Thankful despite living small in which is why I started following them and you…have completely planted roots, some have started families. Again I’m Thankful they and you are allowing us to tag along through your life changes. I’m excited for this new adventure be it just decorating your new apartment, how exciting! 🤩👍🏻

just a thought....put all of your food where your appliances are, they display better than bags or boxes of food. plus you said you wanted things with smells to be away. I personally feel like a cute little round table would be nice instead of counters to sit at and eat plus you can play cards and entertain maybe a little easier? ...just some thoughts, glad you are making this change,.,,,we are with you all the way

Hello... first time visitor here, and I agree with Desiree. A little round table might be a nice idea for socializing, comfort and games. From what it seems you're transitioning from life on the road. I'm smiling because you seem to have very efficient ideas as you would for living in a vehicle as opposed to a stationary space. You can splurge a little even though your space is small, and make it a little cozier. I like your ideas for lighting and plants!

I would worry less about the genre and focus more on doing something fun and interesting. Maybe things many people wouldn’t know how to do, but we could learn from you or alongside you. One of my daughters lives in Denver. There are a lot of interesting places to go and things to do there. You are very creative, so I’m sure you will come up with some good content.

Welcome to Denver! I have been living here for almost 1 year now myself with my friend, well in Aurora at least, and we also live in a small apartment as well. Be mindful that some neighborhoods require a parking permit to park out on the sides of roads for a lengthy amount of time in some of the surrounding neighborhoods. Keep things real and always remember to be yourself. Anyways, enjoy your time here. I am a new subscriber so I look forward to your new videos that you post. Take care!
Congrats on your apartment! It is so nice! I love what you have planned for it. I have one of those plastic shoes holders on the inside of my closet door and I use it for shoes but also for other things like socks, hair ties etc.... It might be nice to have a small table that attaches to the wall in your little dinette so you could take it down when not in use. I am looking forward to all of your adventures whether in town or out camping or hiking. Good luck to you and Terra on your new life's adventure!

Some thoughts for the glass in your kitchen cabinets. Elmers glue put in the back(inside of the glass, dries “clear” and is easy to pull off when you move, but obscures the glass. Try a patch!

Your apartment is cute! I can’t help but b a little sad after watching you live in your van then build the bus and camper. And baby, just do you! You don’t have to worry about anyone else. If you lose some, you’ll gain others. Make yourself happy, whatever that may entail.
Keep it to one channel if you can 😊 Some followers will disappear, but new ones will come. I live in an apartment and spend much of my free time on road trips, microcamping and camping.
Channels with content about “life evolving” are kind of a niche in themselves these days. Take for example Linnea and Akela, Maddie Taylor and Camper Vibe (UK).
With experience from moving from a place with direct access to a lot of outdoor space for my dog, and into an apartment in the city, I would recommend that you make a place for Tara 🐾 in level with the windows. That way she can lie down and see the world outside. It's one of my dog's favorite places and I know she spends a lot of her time there when she is home alone.

I just moved into a two bedroom apartment and it was changed for me to because my husband passed away a few years back and everybody’s grown and out of the house so I’m on my own finally it’s good but sometimes it I wish you all the best. People are allowed to grow and change. Gosh I know I’ve changed so much and life continues to change as well. I’d hate to have to put myself into a box that I can’t deviate from so you don’t. As long as you are authentic I don’t think you can go wrong. I did start watching you because I was looking for those living on the road full time but I kept watching because of you and Terra. Honestly when someone never changes anything in their channel it can become a little stale at times. And I imagine from a creative stand point it can probably be a little a little tedious. Anyway, congrats on the apartment. It looks like a great place for you two. I can’t wait to see what you do with it.
Yes, give yourself permission to be you. Life is anything but linear. Algorithms can't parse out the broad wanderings of the human spirit or what gives us purpose and joy.

I'm going through a similar situation. It's hard to see people go and sort through RUclips logistics while adjusting to new things in life. I feel less alone after watching this. Can't wait to see your new vehicle but enjoy this too.
When I used to live in an apartment in Las Vegas, I bought myself a movie projector and a movie projecting screen and i used to display all my Walt Disney Animation Movies on Blu-ray.

I don't want to dox you, so I won't give any details - but I'm fairly positive you're in my old apartment building! I lived there for 2.5 years about 5 years ago and loved it. I still live right around the corner. Enjoy the area, it's a great place to live with tons of stuff to walk to! Welcome to Denver!

I honestly think your content is very real. You're a young woman embarking on life's adventures. It doesn't always have to be the same - and in your case, I think you've shown such resiliency in all the changes. I think the fact that you recognize when things are not what you want so you shift gears is a breath of fresh air. So you keep doing you. I'll be here and it sounds like the majority of your followers will be too.

On the topic of channels, I agree with most of the other comments I read. A lot of people are here for your particular style of story telling no matter what the story. People eveolve as they progress through life so your story will follow that evolution while your core will remain the same (mostly). I used to be all about photography, then into video, then into woodworking and furniture repair. Now most of what I post is about tools and the three R's.
My main point is that being a niche channel seems less important than consistancy for the algorythm. I follow poeple who have either taken a break for a few weeks/months or created a second channel for another niche and RUclips either stops putting their videos on my landing page or never starts at all. It seems to take work on my end to seek out the channel and train the RUclips that this is something I want. Just clicking subscribe isn't enough.
Cute apartment! Get dad’s advice on putting things into plaster and lath walls. You can’t just nail things in easily, especially a rental.

My dog had a mass in his rear as big as a fist. It was in a muscle. After a bad doctor's advice that I ignored, I took him to a surgeon in Richmond Virginia. Dr. Barnes cut it out of the muscle like a pro. My dog is fine now.

I’m excited to see your growth and the evolution of your new space! I was one that said keep your channel the same and don’t make a new separate account, but I understand that you may need to adjust some things to make it work for your line of income and keeping things easy. It’s an exciting time and a trialing time for you, so go with the flow and don’t let too much stress you or overwhelm you.

13:44 I have a movable kitchen island I ordered from Amazon or Wayfair. It’s against the wall in my kitchen in a similar area, but I can pull it out during the holidays, and it has a pop up extra counter that’s very handy.
Did you mention recently that you thinking of studying if so what?
So glad you found an apartment for you & Terra! I've lived in 3 different states & each one have found it difficult to find an apartment that allows big dogs. Some that I could get were pretty junky, no where as nice as yours.

Re: algorithms---please remember people like Cruising The Cut----a guy in England who films his adventures on a narrowboat, and in a van, and showing how other people outfit boats, etc, etc---he has tons of subscribers. That being said, it seems to me it's all about you engaging with your viewers and presenting interesting content, which I think you do!! All the best on your new adventure and I'm staying with you! 🙂
Maybe be good to have 2 channels put everything on this channel and other just outdoor exploring unless downloading clips is too time consuming. Life is a constant changing we can only just take it one day at a time 🌻

I totally understand the stress about changing the channel and pleasing the algoritms and stuff, but seriously.... I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm here to enjoy your video's. It already serves a niche subject and it's Alexandria and Terra. I hope the RUclips gods agree and you continue to grow / have a nice audience, but for me all that matters is you being your authentic self. For the kitchen cabinets... If you want privacy so the cabinets can be a bit messier without stressing you out, I highly recommend doing the Elmer's Glue method.
I have done it on nearly all my house windows and have no regrets. And it's so easy to remove. :)
