I like how it looks like the cut the converter flange with a demolition saw and re welded it back on with a pair of jumper cables and 9 wire. I like my ptc converter

At least you have alot of really knowledgeable and helpful people around you. I have a Civic that makes 612 whp on it's current tune and boost level, but I built it myself with hardly any help from my so-called "friends" and it's just sitting in my driveway after I put so much time and money into it because I don't have any real motivation to get it out and iron out the kinks. My "friends" are almost all fairweather friends, or they're too busy to gaf about me. I get it, we all have families and full-time jobs, but you have to make time for your friends.

My old dodge did that usually low voltage welds the contacts together on the back side of the solenoid. It burned most of the harness on the old Cummins when it happened

The little plunger deal you said was stuck does 2 things, 1 it throws the bendix out to engage the flexplate, and 2 it serves as a contact between the 2 heavy terminals. So if it sticks it will crank as long as there's power on the BIG terminal. Works just like a relay

Sounds pretty close to all the 6.0L'S I pull from the yard! I would say good to go ! Except they run on 8 !
The small block starter in my truck did that to me in a parking lot last year while driving cross country.
Just stuck on.
Battery cables were smoking and almost caught on fire.
Had to scramble for pliers to unhook the side post battery (I carry tools).
Burned my hand unhooking the cable.

When the starter signal wire powers up, it pulls in the plunger on the solenoid which engages the bendix/drive gear and also contacts the main power completing the circuit for the starter motor. If the plunger was stuck in, it would keep spinning the motor.
Gremlins keep showing themselves when you cross GM and Ford, Frankenstein is stubborn sometimes. I like this stuff.

Finally found that starter problem lol
Nothing more dramatic than a Prairie Sky....Wow.
The plunger being stuck would cause the starter to stay engaged, cranking all the time, when your hit the key the sense circuit energized the two big terminals on the back of the solenoid to crank the engine over.
I just fought a bad injector wiring on the pass bank. Switched coils, plugs, wires, everything... ended up putting a new psi harness
Depends on what bank you have the wide band in. If it is in the passengerside bank, that explains the lean AFR readings. That cylinder is pumping fresh air into the exhaust
It is probably so rich because you tuned it with that dead hole, now that all are firing AFR is super rich.
How can you guys build badass turbo LS powered vehicles and not understand how a starter solenoid works...? When the solenoid is energized, the plunger is pulled into the solenoid, extending the bendix and making a mechanical power connection at the end of the solenoid. If the plunger is binding in the solenoid, it will stick in the end - holding the bendix in the engaged position and continuing to power the starter motor. You need a new starter solenoid.

That converter mismatch with the holes makes me think it's actually a SBC converter and NOT an LS. Make sure the hub on the converter is fully seating into the crank, or you're gonna have a bad time.
just my opinion but i think in addition to the ignition you already have you should have a battery quick disconnect
