That's cool. Good for you.
You can’t beat the older vehicles. So easy to work on
New trucks are barley even trucks anymore can't take a beating
Old school is the best school. Looking absolutely great Stan! Thank you so much from Sweden. All the best to you and your family, and the Tanana community. Thanks to Katie for filming, too!
Good to see you posting, Stan!
I come from a long line of frugal Scotsmen. My mother’s favorite saying was:
“Use it up, wear it out.
Make it do, or do without.”
Cheers!
Whipple
Good saying.
Mr Whipple thank you for sharing your Mom’s saying. I love it!
@@EJ-tx8tt You’re welcome. She’s still going strong at 89 years of age. 👍

Sweet square body Chev. Can't beat these. No computer or wiring. Best investment
For Sure an older truck without computers is King. I got a box full of old Chilton's Manual's! plus a 1954 Motors Manual 👍🏼 and all my College books for Auto/Diesel repair in '79-'81. I gave up wrenching 20years ago. NW Ohio✌🏼too far to ship to Tanana.
I've worked in the forest all my life. I am now retired and still cannot live away from nature. I'm glad you're still in good health. Greetings from Poland.

Just catching you in YT Stan! Go for it buddy! 🙏🏴🙏🏴🇺🇦
Stan you look great! I think you'll outlive that truck! I love a guy that can resurrect a salvageable vehicle and make it work. That's almost a lost art nowadays, especially with younger folks! Man I sure miss you guys and the show...be well my friend!
Ram. A good strong truck. Taking care of it , it’ll last you. Glad to see you again
man like seeing an old friend I watched every second
Good to see you again Stan. It's been so long since you uploaded something I forgot I was even subscribed to you. Like that Dodge you picked up. Can't believe how good a shape the body is in.
Hi Stan! I'm from the south of Brazil and I grew up working the land like you guys, I'm your super fan! I don't speak English, I hope the translator is translating correctly! A big hug to you and everyone from Tanana! 🇧🇷
I like your shirt. I grew up in Medford Massachusetts. 1950’s.😀

Simply the best Stan, if it weren’t for you and your life story and ethics ,Yukon men wouldn’t be half the hit. It is,❤❤❤
Hi Stan, so glad see a video from you. Hope everyone up their is doing well. You are so right about the older trucks. They are so much easier to fix then the newer trucks and a lot cheaper to fix.
I wenjoyed seeing a posting from you again Thanks fopr sharing 👍👍👍👍👍
Is that Medford NYFD shirt? I live near there..love ur Baston Accent I miss seeing you all on TV 😭 great red white and blue 💙❤️ too ! God bless you all 🙏
You’re the man Stan ,, simple and practical who needs flashy gear,, I’m in Aotearoa New Zealand 🇳🇿,, always appreciate your kōrero (talk),,💜👍
I miss you and your family soo much
Beautiful old truck. Like you said, they made them so much more simple back then, and I think the simplicity made them more rugged, or reliable too. No way you’ll see todays trucks on the road 20 or 30 years from now.
I wish we had the option to buy more simple cars now, but jeeps, trucks etc are all built like fancy cars.
LoL, great truck .. I would paint a large Z on the sides too
Way to go Stan. You’re living the life of Riley !
Stan would probably love the youtuber from Germany called "The Post Apocalyptic Inventor". He has "Repair-a-thons" where he restores tools that have been thrown away in junkyards and then uses them for all sorts of projects.
Have to check it out but probably in German ??
@@stanzuray Nope. It's in English. Just a German accent :-)
I like the paint, Glory
“Im a tyre guy” lol. Love it Stan. Thanks 🇮🇪
Hi Stan, I am in NH. I get a kick out of the Medford shirt. Ga Duga Dodge. I am sporting an 86 Dauley. I am 62 now but the winter of 86 I was on the lam and ended up in Seatle on the Libby Lyn of all boats. I made it back to NE and settled in Haverhill mass for a long time I am in NH now and have a little you-tub to
Hey Stan, good to see you again. Hope you're doing well there.
Stan is the man ! Just love you and the way you look at life 💕
Great to see you looking healthy!! Hope your family is doing well... looks like you got good workhorse truck.. i see you got you a 4wheeler.. dont think i ever saw you with one... i agree, hate all newer computerized vehicle's!! Sad 4wheelers and snow machines are full of electronics
The Tanana hardware store!!!! LOL!!!! Im sure very true,, but loved the phrase..
Stan, you look like you wintered well. Your truck reminded me of the truck I bought from Fairbanks Sand & Gravel when I worked there in the 1980's and early 1990's. It was a 1970 Chevy p/u with about 40,000 miles on it. I remember paying $500.00 for it. Drove it for years and never put a dime in it for repairs and sold it for $1000.00. Stay safe.
It's simple and practical for the use
I remember the old International truck on the TV show,, good to see ya Stan
Hello from Siesta Key Florida
Good to hear from y'all again.
Love the truck! It's amazing how you haven't aged a day in a decade! Lol. Hope the family is doing well! Thanks for sharing
Simple is beautiful Stan
Super happy to see this video. My husband and I love your show. Please keep us updated. The beauty and tranquility there helps my city life from driving me insane! 😂
Sure do miss your videos!
Suek
A truck that can be fixed without a 100 dollar diagnostic run on it to tell you what part needs to be replaced that is not in stock !
Good to see ya, Stan! I'm bringing 3 of the same trucks to the Alaskan bush for parts! And they all run! Heehee. Keep the vids comin.
Love to see them old trucks being used your a blessed man Stan love the vids
Stan the Man Zuray! Man it's been awhile, but always great seeing you. I hope everyone up north are doing well. Nice score on the truck. I hope this summer produces everything you need for the coming winter and wish you all the best. I still need to send my books up and have them signed if you still do that. Take care and God bless. Thanks for sharing and tell family hello from Indiana. Thank you.
How is Joey? Loved seeing you both on the Alaska show. Miss you and everyone 👍
I like watching your videos, Alaska is a beautiful place, you are so brave to deal with the harsh winters there, I look forward to seeing more of your videos keep them coming, stay safe out there, I bet it's already winter there, and come December there's only a few hours of daylight, I saw a video of your's there in December when it was 50 below, and at solar noon the sun was just barely above the horizon, take care of yourself and stay safe and warm up there this winter, Alaska is brutal in the winter.
Good to see you make a post. It’s been a. Long time
the return of the Phoenix
Trucks aren't my thing. But it's nice to see your alive and kicking. Enjoy your day. Hope to as more of your daily antics. Uk
Ah yea, The truck was floating away ! 😂
Good choice of trucks, Stan. My late husband had a Dodge Ram that he drove for years = never gave him much trouble. His was red and white. Hoping all is well with the family and sure would love to see some new episodes of Yukon Men. You guys almost seem like family.

9:51 Sounds just like me. My missus hates it. An appliance breaks, cookers, washing machine etc, i will try my best to get it up and running. She hates it, she wants new stuff. :D nope, not on my watch. 👍
Thank you Stan. Stay safe. Love your stories about your lifestyle. They never get old.
You made the right choice for out there, agree 100% you ned something simple and easy to get parts for. Hard to believe that is a 40,000 mile interior though :)
Awesome video. Thank you for showing us around and showing the new to you truck. We all miss you from the show! It's awesome you upload now and then. We appreciate it Stan. I just got your book in the mail! About to dive into that .
I agree Stan, Keep It Simple! You can adjust the points with a matchbook cover. You can't beat
these older vehicles, they are so Easy to work on. All The Best!!!
Stan you are the man sir ,you and your family are amazing, salt of the earth people real no fakeness in you
Brilliant. People of tannana and yor self's amazing thank you for showing us a small bit about your lives

Thanks Stan. It's been too long since your last video.
I love your new truck Stan! 85 is a lucky year also cuz that’s when I was born. I remember you driving your other truck many times during the show and there are certainly advantages to lighter vehicles. Thanks for sharing this and I’m looking forward to reading your book! I hope you guys have an awesome summer this year.
Welcome back Stan . Red white and blue love the colors. Nowadays to many electronics on the new vehicles. Might be time for a new book on updating us all on what’s going on in Tanna . Hope you and your family are doing great. Miss the tv show. Love your channel.
It's the ruskie flag👎🏻

Glad to see you Stan 👍👍👍
I live in the suburbs of Detroit and still drive a 2001 Econoline.
Glad to see that you're doing well- some dont understand the usefulness and remaining good parts in keeping older machines in the yard
Thanks for the video, love seeing updates from you, hopefully you post more on here
Thanks for touching base with us. It's good to see you're doing well. Take care and have a good summer.
You have to be practical and resourceful to survive and thrive in a harsh climate without ready access to parts stores and mechanic shops.
