Well nuts, I uploaded this over 2 hours ago and RUclips is taking its sweet time to process the HD version. Is the audio working?
Yep! All is good
@@LRtwins2 nice!!
Yes ! Audio is all good
It’s perfect
all good
“I’m in boat mode” Wearing the same board shorts that you had on when you were lashing the valves on mullet at the track 😂😂 ataboy kev👍
The flip flops are "boat mode"..... I am in boardshorts practically all the time.....hahahaha :)
I mean I'm sure mullet classifies as a boat
🤣
@@shenron_1344 More like it identifies as a boat.
@@KSRPerformanceFabrication ohh haha. I don’t blame ya, i went to florida last year for the first time and i wore board shorts the entire time. I’m glad you and mike became friends, he’s a cool dude and you guys make a killer team.
Damn, I think Kevin just tunes everything for everyone, Boat, Car, Plane, Train & next Submarine. Nice Job as always Kevin.
ok now someone's gotta build an ls powered submarine
Well doesn't ol cleetus still have mullets old motor 🤔
@@remiel3315 It would not surprise me.
@@michaelsclark Yes, I think he was putting that old motor in Ruby, or possibly Leroy. I'm not to sure but I know he does still have that old LS.
I like were your heads at but you're not thinking of the risks a manned submarine faces and the 24/7 reliability it's power plant needs to have
So better throw about a dozen of those mullet motors in there only for redundancy and risk aversion of course, maybe 2 dozen just in case Cleetus is allowed to access to it's tuning connections.
Never a dull moment. Thanks Kevin for all the great content!! 👍
Kevin is my kind of guy.... Sharp, easy to be around dude!!
Love that boat..... Wow!!!!
I'm sure Mrs Finnegan is going to be very pleased with her new boat!
This cuts in well with Cleetus wrecking his jet boat trying to run rapids on a river in the middle of no where!
🤣
Well Cleetus just trashes his stuff trying to go fast on the water
Finnegan just builds his stuff to go really fast on the water
Big difference between the two of them, and that dual turbo whine is something else.
And the Grind Hard Plumbing boys in early testing with their micro jet boat.
WOW... Was feeling kind of depressed this morning with this rain and broken bones but you guys lifted me up some to get out of that funk, I can't thank you enough. I really appreciate your time in sharing this.
Stay safe and God Bless
Pete is great at polishing turds😂. Love Pete’s RUclips channel.
Your wide variety of content is well appreciated thanks to you and Finnegan and team for the boat ride
Always cool seeing the different data perspective and small complications that might not be mentioned in their vids. Also enjoy seeing you guys together. Power team for sure. 🙌
Lol didn't look at who posted and thought it was Finnegans Garage then Kevin started talking confused me for a few seconds.
Fun of being subbed to all these channels and great video once again Kevin.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Same👍👍
My girlfriend and I watched this video together. While she was loving the boat being pulled out into the sunlight, my attention went to the Civic wagon. Lol
I guess the car guy in me will never die.
I saw that also had too pause vid.
'79 Toyota Corolla
@@NoWr2Run DId the same.
@@Vibrolas wonder who's ride that was? im gonna guess pete, since he's so far away and just needs a beater car for traveling... though knowing him, it's hopped up and is a a major sleeper
I've been following this build like I do all his others and I'm amazed that he don't have a problem with you showing his boat at this stage since his recent video is no where near this far a long. Kind of just spoiled some of his build for him but I'm not complaining at all! Many thanks for this Kevin!!! LOL
Always a good time! Thanks for the ride!😁😁👍💪💪
What a beautiful boat! This was an epic episode, with the Finnegan partnership or should I say friendship! I follow both you guys and the friendships and You Tubers in this sport are refreshingly nice to see. Finnegan's boat is cool but but his Caddy is what I want to see in the drag and drive events.
32:34 Kevin’s sound effects are on point. Really felt like I was on the boat. 🤣
So much fun to see this giving some different content. still getting the most fun out of engines, just another venue to enjoy them . Thank you kindly from a very leasurely boat guy in the Netherlands I run a 13 meter 120 HP diesel slow moving coastal water capaqble family ship, i guess it would about 43 44 feet in imperial. A faithfull DAF 575 with a turbo on in is pushing us along running wonderfully since 1987. Just let me enjoy your crazy HP adventures and let me just run this here slow engine untill eternity.
Love to follow you, J.
gdrt hilk 40 fiter 43 fitré het yaght 😎
I absolutely love the Manifold setup on the engine. So simple yet elegant. Even the V-bands make it look good
Great video. I love that you guys all work and play together. Just another great thing about the hot rodding community (Boats too).🤓
Kevin you have alot of great friends that truly help each other out that is hard to find these days plus you have a great time doing it plus we learn a lot of things we wouldn't have known so Thanks KEVIN KRS . ROCK'S. GODSPEED
Very tidy setup. The whistle of the two turbos at slightly different RPMs plus the LSX makes for an amazing soundtrack!
That is a very pretty boat. Looks like the dollar per nautical mile must be off the charts. Good content.
Yes! Boats are made from the outside in! They spray the gelcoat in thick then lay up the glass and structural pieces then glass over that then gelcoat over the interior. Then pop out of the mold. There's a lot more involved but basically that's how boats are made.
Great "stuff"! Thanks for sharing!
Great and fun video👍
A tip for the "permanent" solution with the spacers..
You can put O-rings inside the tubes when you put the bolt thru so it doesn't fall off.
That way you can prepare all bolts with the spacers on the part before you mount it.
Always fun watching your videos.
Regardless what the topic is..
Keep up the good work 👍
Love seeing you helping Mike. Awesome boat!
I love how Mike, Kevin, Garrett, and Derek have all become great friends! Makes me soooo happy. :)
Don't forget about Derek
@@michaelsclark, ahh yes, can't forget about Derek. Edited! 😁
Funny how the RUclips creators have figured out they can make more content and subs when they all get together. That it's more of a family not competition...
You forgot to mention Bill!
@@Hippie459MN somehow didn't see Derek's name the first time lol well can't deny im a big time fan of the independence chevelle and i Urged him to visit the freedom factory when he took the yellow Corvette to Florida for a burnout contest turned out it had nothing to do with FF but i think me in a small way. Dozens and I mean maybe hundreds of dozens 40 not no no 92% of nope 92 nope 92.34% of his followers started talking about freedom factory🤣😉 ive had a few cold snacks that explains my grammar lol
Thanks Kevin ; that was great. What a beautiful boat !!!!!!!!
Awesome video man! I love how so many RUclips's have you working on their projects. It makes for some awesome content!
I used to work at 2 boat manufacturers. You spray the gelcoat directly on a properly treated mold, let it dry then do the layup and support wood /carbon fiber. Demold and assemble the halves.
Finnegan has a fantastic house. That garage is a dream!
After seeing this video I really think my wife would like a jet boat too I think I'll start building her one tomorrow 😂😂😂 great content thanks for doing these great videos see you on the next.
I seen a dyno video with this guy named Fordberger, or something like that. He tested a filter screen with no cotton filter in it and I robbed almost zero power. With those turbos facing forward, they're just waiting for something lose inside the boat to get sucked up.
Nothing like boat stuff.
You and Pete.. Fin chose a great team.
Awesome!!!!
Two of my favorite people! Love this crossover
so cool to see it run! It definitely could use a dedicated circuit for the charge air cooler. or aplumbed to the intercooler first. if the water source has to come from one source it would be cool to see separate outlets for the engine and intercooler circuits so it could be balanced between the two. Most marine engines run cooling water through the intercooler first and then through the engine block. A 550hp 6.7 cummins marine engine flows over 70gpm through the intercooler first and then to the engine at full rpm. For continuous running, it is a must.
And when I say through the engine block that could also mean through a heat exchanger.

@@sharonbraselton4302 I think I get what you are saying but horsepower is horsepower and it the need to remove heat from the charge air is no proportionate to the size of the vessel but to horsepower output and engine size. It is all about air density.

Mike's a lucky dude having you and Pete working together on his wife's boat. 👍
dope boat 😎👍
so smooth in the water and you guys are still making it faster and faster
excellent video !!
I love that all the RUclips's I love to watch hang out together Love it keep it up
Pete seems like a cool dude
Good to see ya doin' stuff with your friends
OHYEAH !!! BEAUTIFUL BOAT. HAVE FUN ENJOY AND BE SAFE...
You guys are hands down living your best life congrats guys
The finish work on the wood and the rest of the boat 👌
RUclips at it's best four filming and one working. 😂😂🤣🤣😂😂
Kevin and Mike y'all rock! Love the channel and content! I'm here for the algorithm! Peace
That is one beautiful boat. Guessing it will be doing 100mph plus soon enough!
Growing up going to the lakes here in Missouri the literal best sound in the world to me is that idle of a small/big block chomping on the water, idk exactly what sure causes that with the exhaust but I love it
Kevin you have a very natural on camera presence , and that makes for very entertaining , informative videos , cheers
Probably one of the nicest riding most popular jet boat hulls ever built. Good choice. Nice build.
I think he was afraid to trim it out. He needs a driving instructor for that one.
Thats one awesome looking boat, great video Kevin, 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘🦘
I’m really good a break’n stuff. Sounds like the perfect collab!
That Toyota wagon is rad 😍
DAMN MAN! That is one sick boat! Beautiful!
Well jets boat like this one and his other one are perfect for soccer mom's and guys that don't want to go too fast.
Come on Finn I know you are chomping at the bit. Bring it ,!!! We'll bring the Sanger to Altoona and whoop that jet boat ass !!
By the time you get everything wound up and on plane we'll be at 160mph or so then start hauling the mail. You got a fast jet boat. We got a fast boat period. No match for the V in a flatty
The collaborations are the best.
Great content thanks for sharing
Respect for showing sticking the tungsten! Most people would edit that out to make the world think they are perfect. Gives me hope that I'll become better at it!
I love the Toyota in the background, when the boat is in front of the house ♥️
It planes out real well and I must say looks FABULOUS
Love the lake too, Kevin. Grew up with the jet boat scene. Have a 1977 Anthony 19 ft tucked away...sons are wanting to get it back on the water. Maybe it is time to let them play with it a bit.
Talk about minds colliding! There is some horsepower knowledge in that boat!!
When both Kevin and Pete are on the case, you know it’s about to get serious. It’s cool all the people you’re getting to collaborate with these days, Kev.
Man Mike's wife's boat is
Pretty and fast 82 mph is
moving. That's fast on the
water. I have ridin in a jet
boat with a 455 Olds engine in it.
Nice. He didn't throw a rod this time. You are the man.
You get to hang with some good people! I actually followed this build as well as game over on his channel.
i'm sure you guys are but make sure you share with people some of the safety aspects that go with a boat like that . . . an open cockpit high speed beasty like that on the water without proper respect for the risks involved leads to trouble, always best to do it right the first time :) take your time and cover your ass, along with all the people you love and live with being safe in its use and enjoyment! :) always fun to watch and a whole lotta "what the . . . " :)
Always a lil bit of work before playtime……..👍👍👍👍😉😉😉😉🦅🏁🇺🇸🦅🏁🇺🇸🦅🏁🇺🇸
Great to see all you guys collaborating on Mike’s wife’s boat. I don’t understand why she didn’t really show any interest. What a beautiful boat in every detail. 82 m.p.h. in barely shakedown mode ain’t too shabby. Very nice indeed.👍👍🇨🇦

Gearheads for life.
Another fine tuber of you visiting Allatoona! Got to love it, our place is right next to the lake.
Love the boat beautiful creation me personally I would’ve put the fuel tank lengthwise along the floor from one side of the boat to the other so that way the balance is perfect But still nonetheless absolutely gorgeous and I can only imagine the hours of labor that went into that
Years of experience in aero space test and engineering. A freon spray can used to “ring out” thermocouples (type CA). Is more convenient and safer than a torch!
that 4 door corolla wagon is super cool. 76-79
Mike was lucky to have your alls help. That engine sounded tough!
I love the Mockingbird in the background!👍👍✌️❤️😃😀😀😀😀
On blown offshore type boats the intercooler is plumbed to a seperate low water pickup(s) on the transom, and through a strainer. That way at low speed there is no water going through the cooler, which keeps the idle and part throttle engine mannerisms clean. Then at a point when the forward motion is enough to over come the travel through all the strainers, fittings and cooler it starts to cool the incoming charge air. You have to play with the depth of the transom water pickup to get the water pressure below 20 psi. You don't want a ton of flow through the cooler as the water needs to be slow enough to remove the heat. Exit of the cooler water is to an overboard dump either side or transom
Engine water is through the standard twin impeller raw water pump as a separate system.
Gotta love a Twin turboed Texas Speed LS Tunnel Hull Ripper!
Boat is bad ass… and so is the old school Toyota Corolla wagon in the driveway. 👍
Hey good times have fun guys
MY WORD MAN!!!!!!!! I'm all about jet boats but holy horsepower!!!!!
I love the way Finnegan oxygenates the water with true gearhead gusto.
Puppies 🐶 ❤️ Boe is Famous..lol
We had a cat incident lastnight.. lol all are safe. Dog life🐕❤️
Brought back memories back in the day before I sold my 66 chevelle I was building a big block and a friend offered quite a bit more money for what I had in it and I sold it then he stuffed it in a 18 foot honcho v-drive talk about fun thank you Kevin for taking me along oh if I remember correctly we went somewhere around 123 mph before we were kicked off the lake for excessive noise of all things. God bless and as always be safe 👍
Boats are fun. Boats with Turbos are even better!!🤘🏻🇺🇸
that pop off valve is to keep the boat from becoming an unguided missile ... when water is abruptly stopped on a jet boat it can backup in the pickup and toss the boat sideways (is required for jet boats that are raced) 92mph out of a jet boat of any kind is super respectable..
His wife’s going to take his budy and Pete for rides hehe 😉 nice boat guys beautiful build
I never back purge stainless, that's really only required if something sanitary is flowing through the pipe, like milk.
Gotta love Mike. For everything you do with Cleetus, who I also love, this is your highest view count ever!!!!
Finnegans birds sure liked the rollout
Loved the video… Good times on the water…
So happy to see I'm not the only one to dip the tungsten. : )
What a awesome team to make a video together!
Not once did I see the wife in or near her boat !!! What gives Mike ???? 😂😂👍👍
Enjoy all the crossover vids from my favorite car (and boat) dudes.
The loads experienced by boat engines are definitely a bit different. Hearing twin turbos screaming under load in a boat brings back memories of my days as a yacht engine tech.
this takes me back to a game i played as a kid called hydro thunder these boats have always been soo cool to me!
VERY COOL!!!!!
incredible amount of skill in a home garage
