So many haters..these guys are playing good rock and roll keeping the spirit alive. At best making $3500 a night ...at best...playing these bike rallies across the country...the road isn't easy boys...
I have loved this band all my life and I will be seeing the new version tomorrow night at Arts Beats and Eats. I know it's not all the original band but I still want to hear their music !
Rod and Dave have passed but the show must go on. Playing at the Sonoma County Fair in a couple weeks, I'll be there seeing what they got left in the tank.
1:41 maybe the rhythm is right, but the chords aren't. Man, the slide player needs to learn those chords. they are not just 5ths. It's the middle bar chord to the C shape. Watch the real band in the late 70s.
Maybe search YT for how to find someone's YT channel. Once you figure that out, you might can find some guitar vids I've done over the past 9 years or so. Hell, I've already made it easy for you. I've put my play-along vids into a playlist and my original stuff into another playlist. Certainly someone like you can figure it out.
Someone had to replace Dave. Charlie Huhn was the perfect fit. Look up Charlie Huhn and all the bands he has played with. You should hear the LIVE bootleg CD of Charlie Huhn playing in Grand Rapids at Danny J's with Vic Amato back in 1977. They did the most KICK-ASS version of All Along The Watchtower you have ever heard with a power trio. WLAV in Grand Rapids still play the song. Oh yeah, it was Mark Farner and Charlie Huhn who got my backside working harder on guitar back in the day. Charlie is a true gentleman and super nice person. I love him to pieces!
So you have what was once a great Rock n Roll Boogie band sink to this. Who's left, the drummer, maybe the bass player? Then you have these fools who will stand out there and cheer on this crap that is destroying the legacy of a once great band. Lonesome Dave and Rod Price must be rolling over in there graves.

Foghat is Dave Peverett, Rod Price, Roger Earls, Tony Stevens. This group is a tribute band with only Earls from the original.

Lead singer's voice sounded amazing but his guitar was way too loud and had way too much gain. I couldn't even hear the drums and bass.
