I'm only going to talk about the classic series. I never really understood why S6 and Baldwin usually aren't liked by fans. The US narration is beautiul from my perspective, the music is superb and the stories are very warm - especially the winter ones. It would be impossible to really rank them individually, so I have 3 clusters: My ranking is: 1. The best: S4, S5, S6. 2. Very good: S1, S2. 3. Good: S3, S7. It's funny how you find S6 to be bad and S3 to be the best. For me it's just the opposite. Mr. Ryan said that he'll cancel his meme & facts series if we don't watch this... I don't wanna watch at the moment, but I also want those to be continued
27 - season 25 (well DUH, unless you don't count it) 26 - season 12 25 - season 15 24 - season 14 23 - season 23 22 - season 22 21 - season 24 20 - season 10 19 - season 13 18 - season 9 17 - season 13 16 - season 19 15 - season 11 14 - season 8 13 - season 16 12 - season 17 11 - season 6 10 - season 21 9 - the pack 8 - season 20 7 - season 3 6 - season 2 5 - season 7 4 - tugs 3 - season 5...(yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh) 2 - season 1 1 - season 4
Your list is almost similar to mine, here’s mine, with the movies as well: 26. Season 15 25. Season 14 24. Season 13 23. Season 16 22. Season 12 21. Season 23 20. Season 22 19. Season 10 18. Season 9 17. Season 24 16. Season 11 15. Season 7 14. Season 8 13. TUGS 12. Season 1 11. Jack And The Pack: The Sodor Construction Company 10. Season 17 9. Season 3 8. Season 18 7. Season 19 6. Season 6 5. Season 20 4. Season 21 3. Season 2 2. Season 4 1. Season 5
Why is Tugs Number 5? That’s not even part of the Thomas franchise, it’s made by the same crew yes, but that’s like me putting seasons of Futurama with The Simpsons seasons, not being rude at all, but just a critique. Apart from that, good video. Although Season 13 has 2 of the Best Episodes Ever, Slippy Sodor and Double Trouble.
My top 5 (in my opinion) would be: (with a few reasons)[and a gripe or 2 to balance it out] 1. Season 5 (best narrated, absolutely hilarious, and the series I watched the most when I was younger. Seriously even the boring episodes are great ones)[No usage of Donald and Douglas] 2. Season 3 (best atmosphere that is both real looking and magical {especially the night sets}, more of my favorite episodes, and I love Mavis)[No flaws at all, perfect season] 3. Season 2 (so many great characters introduced, so many great episodes, while not as funny as the latter seasons 3 & 5 its still funny to me)[While realistic looking it feels a little too grimy to me] 4. Season 4 (Narrow gauge engines, great if not the best visuals, and even more of my favorite episodes)[Again no flaws, perfect season] 5. Tugs, though if I was to count Thomas seasons only it would probably be Season 6 (Tugs because its mature and has so much detail/Season 6 because I'm too nostalgic for it)[Season 6 US narration sucks, even if Season 5's wasn't god tier] Seasons 3 & 5 could be interchanged with each other though tbh, I love both a lot
Like most (if not all) I definitely wouldn't choose any of the series post series-11 as my favourite, but Thomasfan261, thanks also for explaining how TTTE was owned and manged between, BBC, britt and HIT etc. I really enjoyed learning that, and have enjoyed the early HIT era of Thomas as a whole.
Whelp might as well share my list! However, I'm excluding TUGS and considering Jack & The Pack as part of Season 7. 1. Season 2 2. Season 1 3. Season 4 4. Season 5 5. Season 7 6. Season 3 7. Season 6 8. Season 20 9. Season 18 10. Season 21 11. Season 19 12. Season 17 13. Season 8 14. Season 9 15. Season 11 16. Season 10 17. Season 12 18. Season 16 19. Season 13 20. Season 22 21. Season 23 22. Season 24 23. Season 14 24. Season 15 Big World Big Adventures and the Nitrogen Era are pretty equal in how terrible they are. The writing, dialogue, story, plot, animation, direction, and everything just about those seasons are just so often off the rails. The HIT model era is dead smack above the Nitrogen & Big World Big Adventures Era, but below the Brenner Era. The reason being is the orchestral music, the episodes often being very meh, and nothing more. Also the visuals. The Hit Era's model work was astonishing at times especially given the budget they had. The Brenner Era is everything that the Nitrogen Era should've been. The writers taking advantage of the CGI and use it to their advantage for stories. Of course, at the top are the first 7 seasons. Seasons 1 through season 7 is what a good children's show should be and seasons 1 through season 4 show what a good Thomas should be. Although for me personally, I rate S1-S5 as the true classic Era. S6-S8 is the early Hit era. S8-S11 is the Miller model era. S12-S16 is the Miller Era. S17-S21 is the Brenner Era. That's my personal grouping of the seasons. As for the video, this was fun to watch! I always love a good video when a fan goes in-depth on a list for their favorite Thomas seasons. Can't wait to see more!
Oh yeah, my questions for the QnA: How does actual British weather compare to the weather shown in Thomas? Favorite snack or drink? Will you do some videos of you playing some of the Thomas and Friends PC games you own? Any other interests or passions besides TTTE? Do you remember what happened on July 11th at 8:32 p.m. in 2016? Alright, that's all my questions. Can't wait for an answer on the last one! ;-)
THE Q&A IS NOW CLOSED, NO MORE QUESTIONS PLEASE!

Series 3+7 are my favourite seasons.
Seasons 3 and 4 are my best favorites from Thomas & Friends Classic Series.
James' reaction to Season 25: *Disgusting!*
I don’t know who you are but I agree with that guy on season 11, it’s really nostalgic
Harry hill diesel?
@@lordluffington2351 Yes.
@@BaboDex TUGS is included because the tugboat models are repurposed for filming and it has the same heart put into it.
1 What does the 261 mean in your name 2 what is your favorite thomas movie 3 what is your favorite character in Thomas and friends.
Well, about the CGI and HIT Era. The good thing is the background detail at locations like the scrapyards and Brendamn docks
And yes, I know this also implies for seasons 3-5 due to Tugs ending production.
The cgi I'm talking about is the nitrogen CGI
19:30-19:32 How is Season 2 underrated, let alone the most underrated season? I mean, it’s one of the most loved seasons of the whole franchise.
10:10 LMAO SO TRUE 😂😂
Pretty reasonable rankings. Good job. And here's my question for the Q&A.
What inspired you to collect Thomas Home Media?
9:49 I always thought his first appearance was on Misty Island Rescue--AKA, The Special That Must Not Be Named
My top 5 (in my opinion) would be: (with a few reasons)[and a gripe or 2 to balance it out]
1. Season 5 (best narrated, absolutely hilarious, and the series I watched the most when I was younger. Seriously even the boring episodes are great ones)[No usage of Donald and Douglas]
2. Season 3 (best atmosphere that is both real looking and magical {especially the night sets}, more of my favorite episodes, and I love Mavis)[No flaws at all, perfect season]
3. Season 2 (so many great characters introduced, so many great episodes, while not as funny as the latter seasons 3 & 5 its still funny to me)[While realistic looking it feels a little too grimy to me]
4. Season 4 (Narrow gauge engines, great if not the best visuals, and even more of my favorite episodes)[Again no flaws, perfect season]
5. Tugs, though if I was to count Thomas seasons only it would probably be Season 6
(Tugs because its mature and has so much detail/Season 6 because I'm too nostalgic for it)[Season 6 US narration sucks, even if Season 5's wasn't god tier]
Seasons 3 & 5 could be interchanged with each other though tbh, I love both a lot
All my DVDs as a kid were from season six so obviously I love it
10:23: The cameras for season 11-12, along with The Great Discovery, were actually 1080i for the record.
The moment you told Jakey to "take it away" an ad came on. XD

Big World Big Adventures and the Nitrogen Era are pretty equal in how terrible they are.
Oh yeah, my questions for the QnA:
How does actual British weather compare to the weather shown in Thomas?
Favorite snack or drink?
Will you do some videos of you playing some of the Thomas and Friends PC games you own?
Any other interests or passions besides TTTE?
Do you remember what happened on July 11th at 8:32 p.m. in 2016?
Alright, that's all my questions. Can't wait for an answer on the last one! ;-)
What happened on July 11th at 8:32p.m. 2016
That was hilarious! 9:29
Season 1 is at least 4th place at best it's 2nd
Question for Q and A: have u ever played any Thomas & friends video games If so which one is ur favourite and least favourite?
I dont mind season twelve i wish they made the seasons 13 to present like that
I feel for Jakey because i was born in 04 and grew up with season 11 as well
My favorite season is 4 because of model work and the narration
My nostalgia:
