- My look at the Porsche 996 Turbo. This example is a silver left hand drive automatic and was great fun to jump in a try out. Super performance with everyday comfort.

Who doesn’t love an iconic Porsche 911 Turbo 🤔 another great vlog mate, keep them coming 😍
Thank you Black Stag! This one was particularly fun to put together. More on the way!
I'm glad to see the 996 is finally getting good press.
The criticism often come from those who haven't driven one! Great fun to test out!
Nice video. I’m more of an air cooled guy it I can always watch any type of Porsche content and be happy. 👍🏼
Thanks for the support B E T! We appreciate it 👍
Just a few things, It's not available in a 5 speed manual, it's a 6 speed manual and a 5 speed automatic. Also the vents on the side are solely for the intercoolers. Otherwise great video!
Thanks for the correction Benny! Glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Prefer the later wheels on these, but beautiful car and well made video.
Automatic? Come on bro!
Yep. Some cars are automatic. But I presume as a legit car guy you'd prefer a manual.
Hallo! The tip is 5 gear, the man is 6 gear, c’mon!
You must live close by noticed the Woodbridge scenery. Good review, great car to buy and keep as not so distant future classic
Thank you Lee! That's right- Woodbridge area! Can't beat the 911 turbo!
@@QuickShiftTV2024 Ha I just noticed that too - is that the lethal road between Melton and Shottisham? (I'm from Woodbridge)
@@jonhamler It is Jon! Well spotted! All due caution used though. Some reasonable driving roads round that way.
go to DMS Southampton, have a ECU remap, should give you around 540 HP. Not much on the road will keep up with you, esp as you have 4 wheel drive. In my opinion as good as the 997 turbo, but prettier.
Thanks for the input Henry. Certainly would be exceptional with some re-tuning!
Great video !
Tiptronic 👎🏼
Too much love for the manual 😅✌
@@QuickShiftTV2024 I've driven both and to be honest I like the tiptronic in a car like a boxster, but the manual in the Turbo makes it just that little bit more involving. Hoping to buy my Turbo manual this week :)
