- Infinite Revenants is just too many, apparently. In response to the complaints, I have made a full 32 level Doom 2 megawad that features exactly one Revenant. But this one Revenant will challenge you more than you've ever been challenged before in your life. Morally and ethically speaking, I mean.

I hope we get a sequel where we are placed in room with a button, and we are told by an Imp to hurt the Revenant with increasingly high levels of damage.
Except the button does nothing and the Revenant is just pretending to be hurt.

Personally, I think (due to the setting) an inversion of the problem would have been funny.
Have him barreling towards the singular demon, which he is going to kill.
But on the other track there are five demons and you can to press a button in another room to get him to walk to those demons.
Now, do you just sit back and enjoy the show of watching him brutally murder a single demon or do you run to the other room to hit the switch, but risk missing to see the slaughter.
Now that's a philosophical quandary worthy of Doom Guy.

That immediate reaction to kill the chaingunner got me good.
"morally ethical" I can feel me getting stupid just from listening to that phrase.
You see, a lot of these phrases are copied and pasted, whole sentences, paragraphs, so it gets a little confusing.

I personally would have gone the route of having one really huge Revenant. Like, so huge you have to scale it all the way from his boney feet to his big ol' head. The whole time the big Revenant spits out more Revenants during the whole climb. The last level is inside his brain cavity and you solve a moral conundrum. I've made the choice to trap that Revenant with the stop sign by pressing the button at the right time. He's now stuck there and the level won't end. Was it correct moral choice?
Now that I think of it, I basically made a sacrifice, trapping myself in an endless level for eternity, so that both of those Pinkies could live.

Josephine is indeed on the long neglected list of FPS titles I still wish to get around to. It'd require early Windows emulation or a virtual machine, though, something I had issues with in the past and need to set aside time to revisit.
