One of the scariest parts of depression is when you listen to the songs and you understand them, every metaphor, every secret message.
and feeling the pain but not being able to cry.
I used to wonder why people cut and now I understand, well once I did it. for me its because the blade is nowhere near equivalent to the pain that I feel inside.
I even lied to my counselor and told her that my depression just started and I have only had one suicidal thought, but, My depression has lasted for 2 years now and I have suicidal thoughts every day.

My nephew was born a few months ago and I already feel the same way about him. No matter how bad my mental health gets and how hard some days are, these kids keep pushing me forward

1. We would miss you.
2. It's not worth the regret. Either by yourself if you failed or just simply left scars, or the regret everyone else feels by not doing enough to help you.
3. It does get better. Believe it or not it will eventually get better. Sometimes you have to go through the storm to get to the rainbow.
4. There's so much you would miss out on doing.
5. There is always a reason to live. It might not be clear right now, but it is always there.
6. So many people care, and it would hurt them if you hurt yourself.
7. You ARE worth it. Don't let anyone, especially yourself, tell you otherwise.

This song really explains me right now. I stayed up last night for a hour crying because I didn't know what to do with my life. Thinking nobody wanted me here. That I am an embarrassment, a person not worthy of living. I actually might end up crying once I'm done with this. I thinks it's because of my parents. The divorce had a big impact on me. They were fighting yesterday and today. My dad said that he or my mom might call the police. They didn't though. I locked myself in my room. Tried cutting myself, it kinda soothed pain. Haven't done it in a while. I have dreams of me committing suicide and nobody caring. I haven't told anyone but I was planning to tell my mom today or tomorrow but it's getting late so tomorrow it is. The thing is that nobody can tell from the way I act. I am always happy and care for people, but I need people to care for me. I know I need to stop hiding my feelings but I can't help it. I need to take the advice I give to others. Sometimes at school at lunch time I go with my friends and they're happy but then the feeling hits me. "I need to tell them at some point, but when?" I feel like breaking down and crying. I can't believe that I am spilling my emotions all in one comment. The only way I don't remind myself of this is RUclips and reading, it takes me to a world that I can be myself and not suicidal. Another way is playing Roblox making friends and chatting with other people it helps me a lot. Well I told people on the internet all about me now ;-; Do you have any ways of keeping your mind off of this if so please tell me. Ty!!
This might help. When I feel sad and worthless I remind myself of the reason I’m still here. It really helps. So I when I’m sad, I tell myself to keep going because I’ve found my purpose which is to help my friends achieve their dreams. If you want someone to talk to I’ll be here ok?
It’s ok I have difficulties dealing with life but just know that everyone is fighting their own battles and some people just have an advantage but that doesn’t mean they’ve won and that doesn’t mean you’ve lost

My mum's like, she gives me good discussions of why I shouldn't be depressed. It works for a few hours but then fades away, I asked her that whether or not I could go to the therapist... She said, they'd all say the same thing I'm telling you... But like, I need someone to genuinely tell me that everything's going to be fine... Not because of sympathy or pity of my parents or friends... I just genuinely need someone who has dealt with this before to tell me that I'm going to be fine, I'll soon be happy... I want to look forward...

@@l0lo I'm sure you'll find someone. But remember you need to go off your comfort zone and meet new people. Also - don't trust them too quickly. Let both the relationships and trust build up slowly and with time.

When I heard "no I don't wanna die, I just don't want to live" I started to cry. I started crying because I have suicidal depression and that one line is every day for me. And if you have depression get help right away.

Whenever I feel sad or angry, I just find somewhere to pull out my art stuff and sketchbook and start drawing, and listening to music like this also helps me. I guess what I'm trying to say is try finding something that makes you happy, even If you're not good at it. It's better than letting your thoughts consume you or inflicting physical pain on yourself.

I really like this song because it’s not trying to guilt people out of being depressed or considering suicide by saying “but your family loves you” or “people will miss you.”
People (especially people with toxic families) need to find reasons to live without dependency from others, and this song brings up so many good reasons and I’m so grateful.
(Also, I’m not saying that people ever intentionally guilt people by saying what I said above-it’s just in my experience it’s never actually helped my mental state and honestly made me feel worse, but mental health is different for everyone so it could vary.)

Life is sucky, and it always will be suck- by thing about it, your favorite song artist, if you die, you wont hear their next song. It seems like a small reason to live, but life is full of small reasons to live. It's just that those small reasons add up and up and up. Suicide puts the pain on others, and if that's what you wanna do, then so be it. But think about how your friend would react, or even fucking ask them. I love you, and i don't give a a fuck about who you are, what you look like, and who you love. You're a human being, and you are here on this earth with me right now. We're breathing the same air, walking, talking, existing. You're someones reason to live. In everyones mind, there is a version of you- Happy you, you sobbing to your best friend, angry you- you drunk as hell vomiting into your friends lap (that might me just me but anyways). What i'm trying to say is that you're loved, and if you're going through something like an abusive relationship, don't think about how bad it is, think of how good it will be once you're out. And leave as fast as you can, don't put yourself in situations that wont bring you joy, don't listen to sad music just to fucking cry- listen to some girl in red or some shit like that!
