- Make these adorable air dry clay gnomes for an easy beginner project. Use Das air dry clay for easy sculpting. You can also add a foil armature (mold) to create your gnome and save on clay. Hihi this looks so good how can I prevent cracking in the clay when it's drying?
You’ll want to make sure the clay is moist enough when you’re sculpting it. I like to knead my clay a bit adding moisture before I start sculpting it into shape. You also want to make sure the clay isn’t too thin. Hope this helps!

@Ned-zy4wr I’m not picky. I like paint labeled indoor/outdoor for more durability, but I just use whatever colors I happen to have. There’s a full tutorial with supplies linked on my channel and linked to this video.

Hello, new to this clay. Does it harden overtime?? Or it can be remodel again?
