Super helpful tip: At the entrance of your killbox, place a powered turret surrounded by closed doors. Keep the doors closed. This makes the entire raid enter single file, preventing them from clumping up.
The turret doesn't have to be powered to cause collision, early game if you don't have turrets researched you can take a squirrel and just zone it near your kill box for collision
I really like your sleep schedule; I also do 2x a day, but this is better since the pawn picks more sleep or rec or whatever after their scheduled sleep time.
0:35 why is your pawns sleep schedule disconnected like that? It looks like a biphasic schedule but it isn't that considering they only have 4 blocks. Is there any benefit to doing that? I found it curious.
the hours after sleep are set to anything which means if they lack sleep they wont get up from bed. i make them start sleep 2 times per day in case i get a raid at night my pawns can sleep in the day and if i get a raid in the day my pawns can sleep at night.

Killbox should be the only way through your base(a bedroom for example)from outside, and it should be open. if you close the door separating killbox from the base, they will try to break the walls. if there is another open path leading to the inside of the base, they will try to go through there.
As @hoomanity mentioned, raiders go for beds by default. The prison is the quickest open beeline to any beds. If there are traps, then the storyteller might put sappers in.

Love that. They enter a long dark corridor without any confrontation. No traps and no turrets, should be an easy raid. Suddenly a fire flickers in the distance and the entrance and exit both close. The fire grows larger and hotter, shining onto the walls and revealing the desperate scratches of those who came before and the ashes of those who faced the same fate.

Have a look at Adam vs Everything's guide on raider pathing, it covers all you need to know :)
could you use toxgas instead of mollis? i love the idea but i also love loot recycling :D
tox gas doesn't work unless you play a western race, it keeps spreading until it reaches you pawns and damaging them.
pawns who die to tox poisoning have a chance of being rotten. So unless you're using something like bone ash the corpse is useless.
