This little big box made the sounds I imagined when I was a teenager with a second hand guitar, came true. Thank you for reviving the guitar for me. It worth all the money I spent.
ill be figuring out this pedal rather then playing the guitar. I want so bad and have no reason why but it will sit on my board collecting dust. I guess i would just have to live with my Flint reverb for reverb effects
Is there any way to midi clock bpm sync like the original Big Sky? I have mine on order… will be here on Monday. This was an important feature for me … especially with the magnito. I’ve been ready the manual and watching all the video… did this feature get removed?
You can plug just about anything into it. If your keyboard has dual TS stereo outs that would be the easiest, but there's way to connects mics, acoustic instruments, etc. using mixers or interfaces :)
@@rudals1281 the most common application would be to stack them. Putting a really short reverb on first and then a longer reverb can add a lot of interesting texture and dimension to a sound. A lot of the ambient guys will stack two or three reverbs on top of one another to create really large sounds as well.
Each machine handles modulation in a slightly different way, and some machines have extra parameters for adding modulation (like the Chop parameter in the Nonlinear), but in general there is a way to adjust the rate in most cases I can think of this early in the morning :-) Hope that helps!
@strymon , Yes, that helps, but what I really mean is that the "NightSky" (I also own this pedal) has speed/rate knob for their modulation depth. Does BigSky have a modulation rate in the system parameters?

Can you please have a firmware update to allow us to bring back bank C????
And thank you. Mine arrives tomorrow.
When is the Timeline MX coming out?
possibly october 2024
Can't wait to get it!
So good!
When I get full tats on my arms, it will be the full user manual for this pedal
Going back to school to get my engineering degree in Stryon
Please make a video showing midi linking with timeline and mobius.
Wow. That much money and no power supply in the box?

The MX stands for "Money eXiting"

does this pedal have reverb ducking?
What kind of piano keyboard can I plug into this pedal?

Do I need to upgrade? I'm so confused.
If you would like to be able to run two reverbs simultaneously, want the new reverb engines, or want USB connectivity then yes. Otherwise no.
@@PatrickRussellMusicI feel dumb but I still don't get the dual reverb. The OG BigSky is stereo but the MX can have separate reverbs in L and R?

Indecision may, or may not be the problem.
Can you still select presets via the middi connections using nixie 2 or do I have to use the USB connector ?
Hey there! You need to connect your BigSky MX to Nixie via USB, there is no communication for Nixie via the 5-pin DIN connections.
Is there a rate function for the modulation knob?

how to ues one control oc10w with big sky mx midi
Hey there! Please contact support@strymon.net and we'd be happy to help get BigSky MX set up with your specific MIDI controller. Thanks!
If I buy this I might not go outside for a few weeks. You’ll find me in the basement in a pile of empty soda cans and Dorito bags.
Great Pedal, but not including the power supply at this extremely high price range is just OFFENSIVE Strymon 👎
