When you live in europe/germany your recommendations in terms of pricing and features don't quite work (in my opinion).
The OnePlus 8T (128/8) costs 599€ and currently the OnePlus 8 (128/8) is priced around 630-650€.
So when you compare these two models in price and features I wouldn't go with the OnePlus 8 as you recommend it. That's just what I'm thinking.
    I pre-ordered the OnePlus 8T.
I believe OnePlus wants to "replace" the existing OnePlus 8 with the new OnePlus 8T to "clean" the line-up of their current smartphone models.

@@tobiasteichmann5882 (In this case) When the price is the same or lower for the OnePlus 8T in comparison to the "regular" 8-model (at least in germany) and the specs are also in some aspects better then I see it a little bit different.
But in general I can agree with you that releasing a "regular" model besides a "Pro" and a "T" and a "T Pro" is a little bit strange and confusing (there is also the circumstance that the models aren't released at the same time but instead spread over the year). Maybe it's a better decision to focus your/OnePlus line-up on a maximum of three models for one year.

She loved the look of this one immediately, ordered it and is selling off the 7 Pro. Oh and why not the other competitors? I can understand the dilemma for consumers in the US and some other countries but here in India, the story is quite different.
The S20 FE comes with the Exynos processor while being more expensive than the 8T.
Pixel 5 is almost as expensive as the 8pro here and it doesn't make any sense to go for the pixel given what it offers for that price.
The pricing of iPhones is straight up garbage, iPhone 12 mini will retail at $960 in India instead of $700 in the USA.
So as an Indian, buying anything other than the 8T makes no sense at all.

Because Google owns RUclips and RUclips pays these guys so... 👀
The wireless charging thing is so overhyped IMO-the fast charging is so damn fast you won’t need to wirelessly charge it. 15 mins would bet you a full day of battery.
IMO idk why anybody would choose the Pixel 5 unless they want that “stock Android” experience. Meh.

You can even get that camera system on the 4a 5g, you only lose wireless charging and 90Hz screen. The pixel 5 shouldn't be compared to other flagships just because of its camera when it loses out on everything else

    In India,
    Pixel 4a (non 5G): $408
    Oneplus 8T (8 + 128): $585
    Samsung S20 FE (exynos 990 4G): $680
    iPhone 12 mini (64GB): $951
    iphone 12 (64GB): $1087
Now you see why there is no competition to Oneplus in India. While other companies charge us more than the global price, Oneplus actually charges us less, which makes it even more compelling.

    • @evacody1249
      @evacody1249 3 года назад

The iPhone mini 12 in the USA is 729 dollars for the 64GB which is still to much.
The top iPhone mini is 879 dollars. What gets me is that Android phone companies this year like Samsung, OnePlus, Google, LG, etc are ditching the 64 gig for the flag ships and to a point even mid range phones. I mean come one people can't compare the price of the iPhone mini 12 base storage to the OnePlus 8t and say it's a better deal.
I mean not when mid range phones had more storage then the base iPhone mini. The A71 has a 128gigs of storage vs the iPhone mini and it costs less.
