1 - The writing from the original was much worse, literally. "This guy are sick"; 2 - The localization is miles better now, since the ogirinal didn't have much choice due to limited space. Also, the industry is completely different than it was in the 90s, and the localization is simply more professional; 3 - if you're talking about plot, Sakaguchi didn't write it. Kazushige Nojima did. And guess who's also responsible for the script of the remake. C'mon, dude. If you wanna hate this game so bad, at least put some effort to find a reasonable argument.
