Kate is a bad ass. Even after just one short season, I think she could take the reins for 24.
Legacy shouldve had her as a main character
I remember reading back then that they wanted her to continue the series as the main character. It’s a shame they never went through with it..
I called her Jackie Bauer the whole season. She was fantastic.

Imagine Kim Bauer in the place of Kate instead. She would've became just as BADASS as her father if only she had stayed on as a CTU Agent since Season 3 and gained more experience. Her character would've gotten more development throughout the series and her bond with Jack would've gotten stronger. Jack would've became a little less overprotective of her and she would've been going on more field missions with him. She would've been able to stand on her own, (like Kate in these scenes here 1:35 to 2:07 and 2:42 to 3:05) and not need her father to rescue her all the time. She would be rescuing her father every now and then for a change. Just imagine the Father and Daughter duo Jack and Kim would've become by this point! DAYUM!! 😍 I would have LOVED that! Can't believe the producers of 24 missed this opportunity... DAMNIT! 😭 This show would've been centered a little more on Jack and Kim's development as father and daughter since Season 1 up to LAD! And imagine if Chase was still on the show and he and Kim were still together... DDDAAAYUM!!! All 3 of them would've been one hell of a Family Unit! And Jack, eventually, could've retired and Chase and Kim could've carried on to 24: Legacy, with a cameo from Jack every once and a while. 😍😍😍
I have serious doubts that ever could've happened. Not only is she not very smart, but she was an analyst in Season 3. Not a field agent and Jack basically flipped out when she decided on going on a relatively low risk field op. Unless she really fought him on it, I seriously doubt Jack would allow it.
Unless I'm mistaken, MI5 doesn't have SWAT-type personnel. These guys would be CO19.
Or maybe SAS who do field ops on behalf of MI5. More likely CO19 or some specialist firearms unit, perhaps CTSFOs. Interesting point you made there though, I was wondering too.

The show Bodyguard has a more accurate portrayal of British CTSFOs imho. However, 24 remains one of the all time best thrillers on TV.

he is reloading his guns, using tactical options, doing lot of stealth, he is sweating, looks exhausted, looks so badass with his gun, i can go on endlessly about Jack and his character.

During this mission when Rask was questioning Jack, he put all his faith and trust in Chloe by trusting on what she alone believed Rask was trying to pull off. What she in her own mind thought he should do. Jack genuinely was nervous when Rask started to question him. Like he didn't know how to get out of it without Chloe's help. That shows how depended on he has become of her. Such a beautiful and amazing moment between them.

Embarrassing and pitiful portrayal of the British SIS. There were at least two guns trained on Rask at point-blank range yet they allowed him to get up, tackle one of the agents to the ground, grab his grenade and pull the pin. wtf? Try that irl and you'd be dead at the first twitch.
Yes its a really sad portrayal just to make Jack more badass...

No doubt, seeing as Kate Morgan is essentially a female Jack Bauer. On top of that, the fact she's portrayed by Yvonne _Jaqueline_ Strzechowski (who's no stranger to being cast as a CIA field agent) is somewhat meta.

A me Legacy non è piaciuto anke perkè un 24 senza Kiefer Sutherland non ha senso. Mi piacerebbe tanto rivedere Kiefer rivestire i panni di Jack Bauer ma so ke non sarà possibile,perkè non vuole piu farlo,peccato.
