Dude, same here for the tripod. I walked around an event I was shooting the other night with one camera on that tripod, like a dang wizard’s staff haha, but it’s so compact and minimal that I didn’t feel intrusive and was able to use it as a monopod to get awesome wide shots of the beautiful venue throughout the night. Definitely revitalizes the idea of a tripod
Great video. Looking to get a cinebloom filter and a square hood style lens hood. Can you please list the lens hood you used on your x100 that was compatible with your cinebloom filter?
They’re all sold out now but the new batch of Kameracraft M10 grips are coming out any day now! Follow them on social media because when they get released they get snatched quickly!
Very helpful One question is the newest square hood ( the one with the cut out ) is it compatible with a Tiffen glimmeglass filter that I want to put in my x100v ? Thanks in advance :)
Hello! Great video. Makes me want to add an accessory… I couldn’t find the first grip in that group you mentioned. Could you please point me in the right direction of a name?
The first handgrip you discuss, do you have a Facebook profile for the seller? I couldn’t find them through the search in Leica classified. Thanks as always for the great content!
I haven't but I generally don't mind a lack of contrast unless I'm shooting JPEG, but lack of contrast usually means more dynamic range retention and I can add it back in post.
generally I've just pushed them through with a tiny screwdriver, but I saw my internet Leica friend Andrew made this video about doing it with dental floss ruclips.net/video/PzMrvfNGeho/видео.html
The square lens hood that you’re showing at 13:35 that is able to accommodate the Cinebloom filter - who makes that one? You never actually state the manufacturer.
Any kind of tape will leave an imprint over time. I'm guessing because of UV light? The rest of the body will change colors while the portion under the tape will keep its color. I know this cause I've done it on my A7II and X Pro1. You can get a black dot from DAG but it still won't be as clean as a M10P.
Great video. Should have a lot more likes. I got a Cleaver strap based on Your recommendation and it is by far and away best I’ve ever had. ( I have a banker box full of straps going back to the 1960s…so know what I’m talking about) You could go to a printer and get them to make black Leica stickers for you. And printer that uses InDesign can help you. If you give them a high res inmate of the sticker you will be good to go. Again always interesting to see your vids. I have my doubts about the peak design tripod. I have (too many) Gitzos and like them. Their traveler Zero Series is tiny and short and strong for its size.
@@benjhaisch Yes! I actually am looking to upgrade to the R6 for wedding purposes (currently trying to sell my Canon EOS R and 5D Mark III). I sent you a dm on IG and an email as well! Let me know!

Awesome video man, quite a few things I hadn’t heard of in this review!
Thanks as always for the support and kind words about our straps! 🙌
Loved making those buttons with Todd 💪🏻
I think ya’ll sent me a couple when I first got a Leica about 7 years ago and I’m still rolling with em!

I love the design of that M10 camera grip! Very well thought out.
Good stuff Benj. Great info and well presented as usual. Thank you!
Appreciate it, Joe!
any update on that prototype version - the one that's like the summicron hood being released?
10 points to Gryffindor! HAHAHA Love this
do rhe kamerakraft grips scuff rhe paint on the base plate or on camera body for the m6?

Great overview Benj! This KameraKraft M10 Grip looks neat. Might order one for mine! Cheers!

I finally got an xt5 and I need accessories!
Great video as always Benj!!!
WoW, how many hours did you spend arranging your table top. Crazy! Lots of great info here.
Haha! Actually MUCH less than you’d think. Just sort of tossed things on there
I know this is 11 months late but I wanna ask if the black buttons you have on your m10 silver is flat, convex or concave?
Concave!
Very helpful

those clever supply co straps look insane, I want one for my x100v!

Hi Benj .. great video ! Can I ask which lens hood for the x100V will accommodate the Moment Cinebloom filter ?
sorry, it was listed in the description but I didn't realize that I didn't make it clear in the video geni.us/h0vH
@@benjhaisch Thanks Benj. I thought it might be the Haoge, but wasn't certain. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
I did grind out the inside of the squarehood mark iii to fit a 1/8 black pro mist but still not able to fit the cinebloom sadly.
I use duct tape and black sharpie for the moment cinebloom cases. Great video. Thanks for suggestions.
that power bank is cool

Hey Benj, have you tried the Tiffen Glimmerglass filters? They give diffusion with less loss of contrast.
I haven't but I generally don't mind a lack of contrast unless I'm shooting JPEG, but lack of contrast usually means more dynamic range retention and I can add it back in post.
Hi Benj, how you put the peak design hardware on the leica camera without the 'ring'?

It’s from Haoge, I have it linked :)
Where do you get the small red button? I hate the big ones.

Wonder if those straps (specifically plastic/metal parts) are scratching the camera? Would not like to destroy this beautiful silver paint on my M 😇
When will you be selling your R6?!
