How to tune an NDB and DME on the G1000

I made this video ages ago at my old workplace so I no longer have access to the sim.
Tracking the needle is simply a case of applying drift L or R. Plenty of videos available on YT on the topic 👍

Thanks for video but in a analog cockpit like the 152 you can't dial a decimal point ie 454.5 I cannot figure that out.

Hi Jared, on my x-plane 11 final , there is cessna 172sp with g1000 but there is only DME not ADF/DME, even when u push dme button there is no option for ndb frequency. what do you suggest me?

Ismatulloi Mahmadali It sounds like a setup similar to two of my old fleet. The DME soft key was available but the ADF was a seperate box located off to the side of the G1000.

So for NDB/DME you need two frequencies and for VOR/DME only one, Am i correct?

As far as I know, Yes.
Nav aids are sometimes separate with different frequencies

Sorry, while I follow 99% of that, the accent has me a little stumbled with the tuning of the NAV 2. How do I know what VHF to select and slave on NAV2 please, as I am still not picking up the DME.
