I remember the first time I got to fly something with a G1000 and just how amazing and intuitive it was. Good old college flying SR20's and SR22's around.
I made this video ages ago at my old workplace so I no longer have access to the sim. Tracking the needle is simply a case of applying drift L or R. Plenty of videos available on YT on the topic 👍
Hi Jared, on my x-plane 11 final , there is cessna 172sp with g1000 but there is only DME not ADF/DME, even when u push dme button there is no option for ndb frequency. what do you suggest me?
Ismatulloi Mahmadali It sounds like a setup similar to two of my old fleet. The DME soft key was available but the ADF was a seperate box located off to the side of the G1000.
Sorry, while I follow 99% of that, the accent has me a little stumbled with the tuning of the NAV 2. How do I know what VHF to select and slave on NAV2 please, as I am still not picking up the DME. Thanks
Teacher can you give me some information about if i want to go other region when i takeoff how to go the other airport and how can i know please try to understand me i from somalia

So grateful, at last someone showed me how to tune into the aids into the Garmin rather than just how to fly them! Thanks Cobber !~
lovely stuff- it's amazing that this kind of knowledge can be perfectly transferred over to flight simulators nowadays!
Thanks so much , the way you describe each application sinks in immediately
Happy to help
@@castleofaargh2093 What a coincidence, CTH! Still helping us guys at L3 years later!
Thank you very easy to understand
Thanks ! I am learning on FS2020
Same here, such a helpful video!
I'd be 25 miles past the fix by the time I got this all figured out.
Great video. Thanks mate
Really appreciate your help.
Great Video - Well explained. Thanks
convenient your ADF was pointing straight ahead, could you please show how you would intercept and track ADF with wind ? Thanks

thanks for the video!!
Thanks for video but in a analog cockpit like the 152 you can't dial a decimal point ie 454.5 I cannot figure that out.
Thank you man
Thank you so much

So for NDB/DME you need two frequencies and for VOR/DME only one, Am i correct?
As far as I know, Yes.
Nav aids are sometimes separate with different frequencies
Dziękuję, nawet nie wiesz jak to co zrobiłeś jest przydatne. Więcej filmów. Pozdrawiam.
