Do you have a tutorial on syncing this to SAMMI?

I feel confused, I've followed these steps completely, but when I try and preview them like you show, it returns to the default, and doesn't transition back and forth when the visibility is toggled? It basically works ONCE and then doesn't do anything again.

I'm guessing that the 'zoom' filter does not have the transform saved.
Double check the filter settings that the right source is selected, and that it's applying the a transformation that is different than your 'default' position!
      For example: my default state's "transformation" is :pos: x 0.0 y 0.0 rot: 0.0 scale: x 1.000 y 1.000 crop: l 0 t 0 r 0 b 0
      But the zoom is for " pos: x -1339.0 y -753.0 rot: 0.0 scale: x 1.697 y 1.697 crop: l 0 t 0 r 0 b 0"

@@WaffoBaffo Thank you! I could have sworn I was doing that, but I retried today with this in mind and got it working!!

I followed the steps, and have another scene called ZOOM JC. When I return to my normal JC screen, the zooms dont work ;; I tried adding the ZOOM JC scene to my JC scene but it doesnt add, either. Am I doing something wrong?

Your 'zoom scene' will be the only scene where the zooms work. You will only be using your regular 'JC' scene if you need to add a new source or make adjustments!

@@WaffoBaffo Oh coolness! I had to ask since I'm trying to do it for gaming, so I nested my Gaming scene!
      But Idk how I'd be able to change my game in the Captures, if the whole scene is nested ;;
Is there a way to do it for just VTube Studios Virtual Camera?

Random question, how can I do this wihtout the Stinger transition conflicting it ? I've done it and then the transition cuues in on the Zoom Cut..

      Interesting!
This method doesn't involve any scene changing, so a stinger transition shouldn't be going off when you toggle the 'zoom' filter via a hotkey.

@@WaffoBaffo Oh shoot, that's prabably what I did wrong. Imma try it again later on.

    1:16 how, like settings where??

    • @MoonMarshmallow

from OBS' main screen click on the file tab then setting and search for the tab "Hotkeys" you should be able to set a hotkey for the move transition filter from there (it should have the same name you gave the filter)
      TL;DR File > Settings > Hotkeys

@@MoonMarshmallow ye, and I put both the zoom in and zoom out on the same hotkey. OBS says there's conflicts, but tbh it seems to work fine as a toggle.
Also on the second filter where it is zoomed in, you want to zoom down to actions and set "next move" to reverse and "next move on" to hotkey.

By any chance do you know how to toggle it with like a key? So lets say I press 1 and it zooms in.

You can set hot keys in the OBS settings. Personally I set up the zoom in and zoom out on the same hot key and it seems to work fine, even though OBS says there's a conflict.
