More detail?! It looks worse by a far gap from the previous FX3. Just compare the 3 tables available on both. Where’s the HD rumble? FX3 you could really feel the table. FX feels dead. When they release legacy tables you’re better off not buying them here. Just stick to the new tables if you have to.
Just an FYI because it is difficult to find. It's in the options menu under settings. The in the Video tab you can adjust the orientation of the screen. It's definitely not as easy as Pinball FX3, but it is there. It does save the orientation, so if you have it setup in a pinball machine you don't have to go back and change it again. Just like FX3.
I have just downloaded the new Zen FX tables onto my Switch to play through my ATGames legend pinball using a SJ@XJ CY-2201 encoder board, the board works great for controling the flippers on FX3 and the Star Wars pack but will not respond to Zen FX so i have to resort to using the Switch joy-cons, very frustrating as nothing changes between the different packs, so i am now reluctant to download any more tables.
I like the physics in FX... but that's all. The lag made me lose a lot of balls. Also the graphics in FX3 are way better than in FX. FX doesn't even have ball reflection on the playfied and the rails look all jagged and less round in turns. So this is hard... the physics are fun in FX but everything else is just garbage... I try to like it but I can't because of the bad graphics and lag.😅
Yes, I agree 100% it's weird right? like, why would they downgrade? I'm sticking to the old FX3, but I wonder if I should email them and ask them to bring the new boards to it.

I actually really like pinball fx, the gameplay is far superior to fx3. Play a game of fish tales on both and you will have way more fun on fx. At first I too was skeptical but games like world cup soccer on fx are just so good.
That's good feedback, for some reason, I felt the opposite. I had more fun on FX3, I felt the pinball moved a little faster making the gameplay more fun. But, I'll have to try your recommendation.
I'm not so sure on that. I tried Pinball FX and PS5 and it's the same thing, it still doesn't load any quicker. I don't know what it is about Pinball FX. It's a step in the wrong direction. I hope they fix it.

For me, it's not just the long load times. The Switch version in particular is riddled with glitches and fragmenting.

Pinball FX is just plain awful on the switch. The lag is hideous! Fx3 does run fine on switch however.
