The graphics and visuals from the switch to the standard 1up monitor is amazing! Let's hope intec put this into production! It's a day one ore order from me 🍺
The 1080p is HUGE, and it's a cool concept... but the loss of the DMD, the janky navigation (and required Switch controller), and lack of full solenoid support are likely all deal-breakers. It's gotta be hassle-free for me to want to play. Really, we just need a V2 of A1U's efforts with a better screen and more games to have a winner.
I've been patiently waiting for this product and I really hope it gets released. While I agree there are some cons to the product as is, I would still love to use it on one of my arcade1up pinball machines since I own all Zen tables on the switch. Please make this available to the public Intec Gaming.
The main thing this will always have on Pinner is graphics, otherwise, the android versions of the tables are very much similar in my opinion. But it's really a trade-off we are able to offer a "Working" DMD, and more apps as well as the solenoids being supported in a good way, on the note of ethical state and saying that A1Pinner falls in a category of piracy, I'd have to disagree we strongly encourage that people purchase the Zen Pinball tables and enable people in doing so. In reference to Arcade1up never replicating the switch, had Arcade1up done something like went with the RK3399 (Or the even newer RK3588) or even the newer Mediatek chips they could've run a Linux distribution like ALP and offered a very similar experience to the switch even running FX3. I liked the review but it seemed like you had an intentional bias and dislike for A1Pinner or the Stock table, we can and will achieve some form of online leaderboard capability while it won't replicate exactly what the switch does we still will offer it. I think it's good to look at the comparison of both and why one might be better than the other and right now the only reason I see the Switch being a goto if it was me is better access to 1080p without lag, better graphics out of the box, and immediate/current online capability as well as a currently right now larger library which are points you've mentioned but it came off differently in the video. Meanwhile, I also have to argue that I'd rather stick to Pinner personally due to ease of use, not having to swap out hardware components, working/functioning solenoids, still having access to 1080p, and the DMD being 'operational'. That being said if I wanted to go with the better graphics I do have the option of utilizing the USB port for OTG and streaming in a PC over that via something like moonlight, I could also make sure the DMD functioned with that by using the same code I do now on top of moonlight the downside being that it requires a PC but the PC if I didn't have a switch, might cost me just as much as the switch does.
Did you say you could map the nudge feature to the buttons? Because if you can you could just split those inputs to those buttons and add another button by each flipper button so nudge is easier. The only thing I didn’t like was that on another video I saw the nudge was used by the joystick. But if you can map it it would change my mind. Great video, just got attacked from mars on a good sale because my legends micro died. I’m definitely buying this kit so when the pub overheats and dies I have a cheaper and easier backup than a pc build
I have this ordered but I'm concerned that the plunger isn't mapped to the right stick for pinball arcade and stern pinball, also is the arcade stick mapped to the left stick for nudging on those games?
ToyKade, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE FOLLOW UP! Quick question as this might spark an idea. Is this kit compatible with the new Steam Deck? I'd love to hear your thoughts :) vgv
Hey vgv, this idea did cross my mind when they first announced the steam deck last year and based on my assessment all control decks from intec should work. Intec products appear and operate as 'Switch Pro Controllers' and Steam supports pro controllers.... so guess I'll wait and see. I'm Q3 for the steam deck and when it arrives I'll do some tests and let you know.
ToyKade, So awesome, thanks for the update! Yeah, if Steam Deck actually works, I may seriously think about doing this mod. I have all the legacy tables from Pinball Arcade, which includes all the Midway tables like Addams Family. I have such a huge library that I can fix what Arcade1up started :) vgv
Anyone having an issue with the new Pinball FX. Can't use the intec controls while playing yet it still works for pinballfx 3 and all other games on switch

I'm been patiently waiting for this product to come out. I can't wait until it's ready! 🤞 Thanks again for this second video man.
I’d be buying this as soon as it’s available! Make it happen IntecGaming!
Gosh i was waiting for any news ToyKade…I can’t wait for this ASAP

Installed mine and it's pretty sweet! It does leave you wanting more though.

Love your work MysteryEncoder. I'm looking forward to testing out A1Pinner V4.0 and do a full comparison in the future.
I wanted this like yesterday. Thanks or the video!!!👍
Great video! It looks like an atgames lite now.. getting much closer to the machine it should have been
ATGAMES IS ASS
Worth doing. 1up pcb burn out soon.. 1up have so many to repair under warranty. They saying 6 months parts wait..and stopped making the 1up pinball
I'm very curious whether this control panel can be used to hook up devices other than just a Switch. If yes, that truly would be a game changer.
I would like it but the final version must have dmd support and proper solenoid function….happy to wait more for these to be included

Why didn't you show it playing vertical arcade games? Does it not support those? If it doesn't, what's the joystick for?
Really. If the game doesn't do vertical then there's zero reason to play them on this setup.
Now available to order on Amazon for $134. - amzn.to/3XPLwFh

Can I just not hook up the control panel at all and have it work still?
If there is no dmd and solenoid support, it’s a hard pass for me.
As they said on Futurama, shut up and take my money!

Interesting. Demons Tilt.....
This was a good idea but I would still like this with a 32 inch monitor
I would preorder if that's what it takes to get this thing into production. Please take my money.
Do the solenoids still work? And the plunger?
any link for the HDMi splitter please
I don’t want to lose the dmd
Any word on this coming out? Or if you would be interested in selling your test version.....
I want this..... Where is it?
Does anyone have anything like this for at games pinball machine for us without a gaming pc?

@ToyKade Is there an easy way to get ahold of IntecGaming? The email on their website doesn't work.
