    Have you guys tried Pinball FX on the EPIC Game Store Yet for PC? What did you think? What games did you like or not like? Let me know below!

      I also held off a long time buying any tables. The stacked discounting helps the pricing. As of the last patch it works pretty great on its own. With cabinet mode I had a lot of problems with crashing and it not recognizing my atgames controls which then required me to use joytokey for the controls. I had some issues getting it to recognize all 3 monitors and at the right positioning as you have to go into a file and manually adjust the settings.

      Oh, also, using Heroic games launcher, it runs pretty well on steam deck.

      Tickets are not a problem once you get use to them. It will probably provide cross platform access so you won't need to buy them 6 times over. Also, huge discounts can be had with bundling with the tickets.

    • @Rage-td9wv
      @Rage-td9wv Год назад +1

      You should probably turn off the scoring so you don't have to see 600, 10,000 etc. pop up all over the place.

    • @Rage-td9wv
      @Rage-td9wv Год назад

      On platforms it takes approval then permission, often 6 months in advance to put anything on sale through Sony, Nintendo, and X Box stores. The ticket system bypasses all that nonsense and as long as they are producing tables, one will always need more tickets.

    Geeze, why mess with a good thing and over complicate the entire menu system. I really hate this change and am sticking with FX3 for as long as it's accessible. I don't need a lobby or care about the fluff. I prefer a simple interface like FX3 without all this crap.

      My wife and I absolutely voted no on this upgrade. Legacy players like us were left in the dust. We still get a lot out of FX3, but it would’ve always been nice to have live multiplayer, to play with our friends. Repurchasing the whole catalog, though?-out of the question.

    Thanks for taking the time to preview this! I've been playing Pinball Arcade for ages and just bought a few packs for Pinball FX 3 and of course then heard that this was coming out soon. Haha. Well thats the way it is sometimes I only sank like 15 dollars into it. I hope we see more Williams/Bally tables. That's what really brought me too the dance in PBA. One question I had is can you set the 3D elements to off as default on the Williams tables? I appreciate that they are toggable but I'd just like to play Attack from Mars from the get go without having to deal with the 3D models. Also one complaint I had about FX3 was it dumping you out into a menu at the end of your session. I miss out on hearing the "Back again" messages from a lot of the tables.
    Anyhoo minor quibbles. Thanks again for the preview!

    To everyone else, don't give in. They're trying to entice people by not releasing anymore on consoles, but don't do it... You're going to get sucked in and then have to buy all the same tables again because we all know it sucks seeing grayed out tables and or having to switch back and forth and we want it to just be all in one...
    Eventually they'll have to release this new version to consoles and they'll be available everywhere again. With how many people that have pretty much boycotted this new version, it's only a matter of time that they'll redo the purchase structure and let people bring their existing tables with how much back lash they have gotten...
    Once they see they're not making money like they used to is when they'll have to start listening to the fans & customers again...
    You see this all the time when companies don't have competition anymore. Now that Farsight is out of the digital Pinball market it's just Zen really. Zachariah Pinball is not even on their same level because they don't have the big licenses.
    So don't give in, keep resisting and don't give them anymore of your hard earned money...
    The other thing with this ticket bullshit is if they lose the license or it runs out, then they can take it out of your library or something like that since you didn't actually buy the table, you bought tickets that you redeemed for a table.
    So if the license for said table runs out or doesn't renew then you're SOL and they can just replace it with a generic table or maybe none at all. It might stay if you have it downloaded, but if you delete it or update to a new version that doesn't have it anymore, then you can't re-download it...
    Like now even with Farsight, if you bought the Williams tables before they lost the license, you can still re-download them even if you delete them or get a new console. I was able to re-download all of them from the ps4 to the PS5...
    It sucks, I used to support Zen as well. But what they're doing and started neglecting console customers and now doing the BS beta early release nonsense and not releasing it to everyone at the same time and being a complete final version without a bunch of bugs...
    They've gotten lazy and took their customers for granted because they're the only ones doing digital Pinball now... It's like a bunch of corporate people took over instead of people that actually cares...

    Zen could have made a first person arcade for all the tables you buy.I've been playing Arcade Paradise and this type of setting (not including the laundrormat) would be amazing,walking around your own expanding pinball arcade,stepping up to a complete machine with art and backglass etc...instead just another even less inspiring set of menus again,it's just not different enough for me to re-buy tables.

Since “tickets” don’t mean anything to people, it doesn’t sting as much when you purchase something. They purposely do not want to use a cash system because they don’t want you to truly know how much you are spending.

      It’s pretty easy. You have to rotate your computer screen 90 degrees then plug in the HDMI and usb to the ALU. Use Joytokey to do a simple remap of some the controls. Then start OTG on the ALU. Controlling the Pinball FX’s UI from the ALU can be spotty, so I use my mouse to do it. Other than that, that’s it. I do feel there is some slight lag while playing but maybe it’s just me. I feel like Zaccaria plays better. Hope this helps.

    1) the lame tickets/pinball pass model
    2) the fact that they did nothing to help people who spent hundreds of dollars on tables for fx3 to migrate
    3) that I am running with beelink ser PCs in my two pinball cabs and the Vega 10 on my table top is kinda low end for fx3 let alone the new version. I suspect the radeon 650 on the 6800h for my larger cab would manage it tho.
    4) this is only on epic games instead of steam, which would force me to make yet another account.
    So pretty much I’m mostly planning to just stay with fx3. It’s sad, because I really like the zen tables. Long time pfx fan, purchased all tables on ps3, ps4, switch etc. I personally do not believe the tables were 'really' remastered.
    I think the 'remaster' means they wanted to port all tables to unreal engine, and wanted us, the loyal fans to fund the time it takes to port them. Had they given me my purchased tables, i would have carried on purchasing new tables.
    As it stands, they want me to pay for all my tables..again. no! not again. Because if any returning fan pays up price, then a new fx will come along and we would have to purchase them all again.
    The business model here is so bad. They wanted to move to a new engine...and get the loyal fanbase to fund it. Not happening with me. I got all 100 tables in fx3 and sticking to that. They are all in one place.
    All they had to do, was look after their fanbase. Greed, pure greed. And if disney, williams, bally, gearbox etc want hefty profit cuts in licencing, then they are to blame also. Even sony allowed ps4 games to run on ps5, and they are one of the most anti consumer companies in the world.
