I always try to play the game blind before going to a walkthrough, but my goodness, the silent realms stress me out so much that I just religiously follow your guides for them. These are by far my favorite walkthrough videos for any zelda game that I've seen. Everything is clear, concise, the editing is on point..just everything is *chef's kiss*
@Craig Adams For me it was really just an issue with the controls. If I'm playing the game with motion controls, I'm guaranteed to have a bad time. Playing it with the Pro Controller though, I have a blast with it. I'd honestly take this over Breath of The Wild any day.

1:56 Quick tip: In order for the Treasure Dowsing to register, you need to actually *HAVE* something that can be upgraded. Simply asking to upgrade while everything is maxed out won't work. I kept my spare Seed Bag, so this didn't effect me, but other players may need to buy something in order to get this to trigger.
You can always buy an upgradable option in the shop next door, even if you have everything maxed out. Even if you have a full inventory and a full Item Check you can still sell things through Item Check, allowing you to un-softlock yourself.

I was playing the Lanayru Silent Realm trying to get that one Tear of Nayru that's in the tree. I wanted to see if I could climb the ledge there and I couldn't, instead I alerted a Guardian snitch and I got really scared. However, I hurried up and dashed up the sand, avoiding the Guardians and then suddenly this one Guardian came rising out of the ground and I somehow managed to avoid him. Then I finally got to the tree and had a hard time rolling into it. I would either miss the tree entirely, or just have a hard time pushing the correct buttons, and obviously I don't have time to mess with that because there are Guardians right behind me, so I had to sorta run around and make them chase me to the end then run back and try rolling into the tree again. I finally managed to do it correctly and grab the Tear without getting hit by one. It was really stressful, but I'm actually pretty proud of myself for staying calm and managing to do it anyway. Playing certain parts of games like this, like stressful situations like these Silent Realms and boss fights, I get stressed and tend to forget everything I'm supposed to do, which makes it even more stressful.
I can also, without a doubt, say I'd never have gotten this far if it wasn't for this walkthrough. The first Silent Realm right there would have given me too much stress and fear to even attempt it, but like you said, Austin makes these parts a lot less stressful and I can watch and see what he's going to do first so I can attempt it myself. It helps me in these situations to watch someone do it first so I know what to expect and I'm not caught off guard.
Fun fact. At the ledge with the goddess cube right outside of Floria Waterfall is a golden rupee sitting on the opposite side. You can pull your scarab out and snatch em easily

After years of staying away from video games I’ve finally picked them back up. I finished Link’s Awakening and my best friend suggested this one. I watch walkthroughs after I finish the games so I can consider if I want to replay it but this Silent Realm gave me hives! Those “emergency ones” were also my last ones but for the love of the Goddess, I could not find the one where the vines were at! Thank you for this walk through, it helped. I’ve also fallen in love with your wit and play. Brand new fan here that will watch walkthroughs just for your commentary now. 😅
Fledge’s Pumpkin mini game is hard to earn a Piece of Heart to get 600 points or more with 1 minute and 30 seconds time limit, and must shoot down the pumpkins in consecutive times to have the score multiplied which is not too easy to get. Sometimes Fledge does throw pumpkins in different angles and locations which is a pain in the butt.
The exact second you said "once you're past this bridge you're in the clean" when getting the second to last tear of light or, dins tear or whatever, is the second my timer ran out, I booked it to the cliff with the tear, fell in the lava and spawned with a dude over me, killing me instantly, gotta start over again. Fuming rn. Also I love your playthroughs, been here since almost the beginning!

Idk if it's super consistent but it seems like on the pumpkin minigame if you get a score of 420 or extremely close to that number he will always give you a dusk relic. I used this method to get the last upgrade for the quiver since we cant officially farm for dusk relics yet.

i’ve been following this walkthrough the whole game lol and i hate fighting lizalfos so anytime i see 2 of them i just take out a bomb, place it down, pick it back up and then throw it at them and it takes them both out, they’re so scary to fight lol
when you get the goddess cube in faron outside of the waterfall temple, turn around and before you jump back down, use your Beetle and fly across the way to the platform toward the left to get a gold rupee!
I know you’ve already played this, but if you ever do again, it’s easier to draw a triforce triangle by first drawing a small upside down triangle then big upright triangle by connecting the points to the small one

I watched another walkthrough on Din's Silent Realm, but I like your strategy better. I will try it again following your steps, with only two or three changes. Update-your strategy worked perfectly for me! I got it on the first try following this. I just flipped tears 2 and 3 around, although I got caught on both of them but that's ok because I was able to get to the tears in time. I also got the tightrope tear first before the one near it. But other than that, I did everything the way you did it. And I slid down in between the 2 waking water puddles after getting that tear and barely avoided getting caught
you missed a chest with a silver rupee. After the part with the clawshots, you need to bomb the wall near where the statue comes up at approx 21:00 min mark. There is a bomb plant there.
I aimed at the post left of the door, all I had to do is aim up or down but it was easy to know where it was going. Got it in my third try, first using the post instead of the door.
Hey guys for all wondering, no that is not how harps are played. Typically string combos are plucked to make chords or individual runs make scales, no one just strums back and forth like a darsh as Link does in these clips. Cheers!
These guides make this game so much more fun. I never played the wii version because of the motion controls. But I see this game has other flaws, the back tracking, slow flying, those tear quests, that escort quest, the controls are not tight so many issues. But these guides help with enjoying the story and overall game. Really appreciate the easy to follow detailed guide you put out. Look forward to your other guides. Hopefully you would do a Metroid Dread guide. Skyward Sword HD is a fun game provided you use a guide lol.
okay this is gonna sound crazy but i like fledges mini game it's fun and easy you just gotta be calm and predict where the pumpkin trajectory is going and aim where it's going to be and let loose
The butterflies are not there for me at the Volcano Ascent. Any ideas? I think I figured it out. EDIT: I had to go back to the isle of songs and hit the symbol again. I definitely did this before. Maybe I loaded a wrong save. Oh well, that worked.
I switched the order of #12 & #13, doing the tightrope walk first and then the easy walk up the incline last so I wouldn't expend time crawling through the tunnel & have more time left to cross back over the bridges for the final time.
Is it sad that falling into the lava during the last two, not just once, but twice, is what saved me from having to do the whole thing over again. After I finished it I literally started crying and shaking so badly. I messed around after the third to last and ran out of time and almost didn't get the second to last.

That Fledge mini game… I still remember the first time and second time I did it was in a legit way. That’s takes practice for sure…but never was a problem for me as always make to 450 up just aiming to the door right up and follow the pumpkins. Then I start to watch let’s play and see people cheese it and try it myself but personally just the same thing to me..
Out of curiosity I chose "Not that guy..." as the dialog with Firefox to see how she react and it was actually quite funny she more or less roasted Link she basically just told him "Now is not the time to be picky about who helps you"

29:47 you can in fact shoot at least one lizalfos. Its like a sneak attack. Once you've shot one though, the other one will block all shots.
You totally can use arrows on lizalfos…. But yes they have a small hit box.

That Fledge mini game… I still remember the first time and second time I did it was in a legit way. That’s takes practice for sure…but never was a problem for me as always make to 450 up just aiming to the door right up and follow the pumpkins. Then I start to watch let’s play and see people cheese it and try it myself but personally just the same thing to me..
Out of curiosity I chose "Not that guy..." as the dialog with Firefox to see how she react and it was actually quite funny she more or less roasted Link she basically just told him "Now is not the time to be picky about who helps you"
