I love how when youtubers fight bosses every single hit lands and the boss is defeated in a minute. I go against these bosses and am killed in 10 seconds.
@@AustinJohnPlays I just tried Boss Rush Mode on Hero Mode on the Wii, mainly because I got really excited to play Skyward Sword after you started posting these walkthrough videos, I still have the Wii version, hero mode just happened to my save file, and I wanted to try it. I had no idea what to expect, so I chose Scaldera to fight, and won in 49 seconds, then Lanayru informed he would pick the next boss for me, and I was like, "eh, how bad could it be, probably something from the mid game, that I'd already defeated in hero mode," oh no, it was final form Ghiraham, whom I haven't fought in over two years, and remembered nothing about. Needless to say, I was defeated.

Hey Austin, not sure if someone said this already but even with the cursed medallion equiped you can still put a fairy in the bottle if you catch them with the bug net :) thanks for making this amazing walkthrough!!
11:50 you say you can’t access your pouch so the fairy is useless….just FYI…even with the cursed medal if you have an empty bottle on you and use your net to catch the fairy it will automatically be put in that empty bottle for you for later use. Loving the video!!! Keep them coming! You have helped me a lot when I get stuck and I always go back and rewatch to see if I missed anything!!!!
Are you joking ? I had to switch to motion, you cant hold sword up and turn the camera and just run around blind getting picked up by tentacles and if you dont get picked up by time you've spun camera and ran towards a tentacle they start disappearing
Ok this is kind of random but I just found this out as I was watching this but I thought it was pretty funny. So most of you probably know that the upstairs bathing area in the knight academy is locked at night. What some of you may not know is if you go into the hidden are above the academy, the way you get into Zeldas room, at night when you first drop down if you look down you can see the headmaster bathing.
to make the mini boss easier, u can just continuously thrust at him. i see a lot of speedrunners do it and i tried it out this morning and it worked out very well
2 things to help ensure you don’t end up despising this dungeon as much as I do. 1 - 9:49 2 - LOOK tf UP through the light rays So mad but so glad AJP makes the worst level ‘this far’ look like a cake walk.
now this is one example of what the divine beasts should have been like along with the sky keep. there is reason why i think these are the only two good dungeons in SS but also strong points in the series as well because of their entire morphing nature where previous puzzle box dungeons usually only affected a portion of the rooms instead of most if not all. stone tower temple might be the only one that actually had this sort of concept despite being very linear.
Just a tip, when using the bow with gyro controls when you have the bow pulled out but not charging the arrow you can hold L and pull back the left Joy-con to charge the bow up faster. If this explanation isn't good enough it is explained in the help menu while the bow is pulled out.

You are mixing up Current Time and Past Time. Past Time is when the ship was active. Current Time is when the ship is inactive. It really doesn't matter anyway! Current Time is a gift. I hurt my wrist trying to fight Scervo with motion controls. I'll be watching you finish the game instead, lol. You're a master swordsman, it's a delight to watch your playthrough.
I felt so bad that tge ship was destroyed I thought the ship was so pretty and I really wanted the captain to be able to get it back. The whole tume I was fighing the monster I was upset at it because it completely destroyed the ship lol.
Oh my god I never thought about shooting the time stone through the skylights. In the 20:10 or so part I just shot the beamos through the electric door just barely and I knew it felt like something the game didn't intend you to do, but it allowed me to go back to the present and shoot the eye and after that I was stuck because obviously there was no way to progress without knowing about the skylights at that point. So much wasted time walking onto the deck in general, oh well. At least this was far more doable without a tutorial compared to some of the previous temples
Sacred Bow is "divine power" as it counts as a skyward strike attack basically to the tentacles so you can use arrows on it and it only works on the sacred bow and not iron or normal because it does not have divine power if u wondering :)

I’d recommend getting the Sacred/Divine/Goddess Shield for the Next Dungeons, also Scervo’s scream after yelling sounds like Demise’s scream after you finish him off and also maybe Don’t use the cursed Metal because shields are very useful
Have a couple comments to make real quick. When it comes to the fight with the ancient automaton in the ancient cistern on a Buddhist standpoint it is a representation of Shiva Lord of destruction. Just a little FYI in case you didn't know. Also easier way to fight scurvo on the sand ship stab with your sword, don't swing, thrust it. it pushes him back faster. I literally defeated him in less than 2 minutes that way.
On both the Switch and the Wii, this level was also one of my favourites, though not Tentalus on the Wii. On the Switch, with the use of button controls, the boss is easier to aim at with the bow and to do the strikes to slice through the tentacles.
So in the room with the three beam creatures if you do what you did but then when you enter the door if you aim directly at the beam creature you can actually hit him in the eye and you don't have to fight any of them and if you have the upgraded bow you can shoot the bokoblin with one arrow and take him down then focus on the beam creature in the previous room
I know this is 11 months old but in the chapter select thing on RUclips it says optional heart piece is it really optional if he gets I mean this is a 100% walkthrough
The pirate captain on the walkway is easy if you just jab jab jab jab he doesnt have much of a defense against it. Also the goddes walls suck, i keep getting hearts no matter what i draw
This is probs one of my favorite Zelda dungeons the only thing that brings it down is tentalus the fight with scervo on the bow is so awesome you can buy a statue of it
13:47 Just once by my count. When you said you had to “hit the Timestone through skylight to bring the boat back to current time”, when you actually meant the past.
Why tf you need the Sandship boss key if the flame is on the top deck all along? You had to save Captain's mates so you get a key to go get the boss key so you can go back up and then down to some part of the ship that would be seemingly empty if not for the boss.
Also if you use your whip to take the horn from the bokablin then shoot it with your arrow It has a chance of dropping a school so far I've tried hitting it with my sword a bunch and it only drops arrows but when I kill it with the bow it drops the skull occasionally
At 21:15 u said no matter what u couldn't shoot the bemos on the left but I pulled it off 🤣. Wanted to let u know its possible. Get against the middle of the gate & aim bow & you can get a small Crack to see a hair of his eye & shoot it.
So im confused ive followed your guide from the start and i have 0 evil crystals and im confused on how im supposed to get them. I have also seen that someone the treasure you get out of chests is different from mine.
When I saw tentalus for some reason I wanted to shout “we have a 23-19” 😂🤣

@@haydenissilly I believe it was a mix up, he gets 5 more crystal next episode, and that takes him up to 59, the 5 crystals came from Fledge.

My favorite 3d zelda dungeon.
the sky keep and ancient cistern are tied for my #1 favorite but this one is also really cool because of all the puzzles it has

I tried it on the wii, but I found the instability of doing that made my shots less accurate

It takes forever to upgrade the sword in this game.
On both the Switch and the Wii, this level was also one of my favourites, though not Tentalus on the Wii. On the Switch, with the use of button controls, the boss is easier to aim at with the bow and to do the strikes to slice through the tentacles.
I was having a lot of trouble with the boss, I didn’t know you had to make the turn and thought the game had soft locked
Don’t know if anyone knows this but with the bow if you hold down L and pull the left joy con back it charges up so much faster!
