I love links awakening because of all its references to other games and the side scrolling parts. I tried to 100% the switch version a few weeks ago, got all the seashells, all the heart pieces, all the crane game figures, but could not be bothered to 100% dampe's dungeon maker thing or collect all the pieces for it.
Kudos to whoever can because that part is maddening. Made me despise dampe.

One of the worst changes in a game ever: in the original Link's Awakening You didn't get a necklace from the fisherman, but a bikini top. That also explains why the mermaid is really pissed off when You dive close to her. It changes with the color version to a necklace. Seems Nintendo decided thas implying the mermaid is naked is too risky
Makes sense, you don't want kids to accidentally become horny playing this game..
fun fact: if you steal something in (most) zelda games, you aren't able to buy anything and your name'll be changed to "THIEF"
