Thanks, now I truly have 100% the story mode
@Diego Bustos I did get all the cards. Just didn't highlight it since I don't show any of the card game but I did include at the end that all "areas of interest" were uncovered

8:55 - Naut has a charge hold that can be used in squid form by holding fire, it also has a bit less range but perfect accuracy and better shot speed.
Hi Chara
i wasn't expecting you here
hello
yo chara
This guy is everywhere I wanted to say except his comment section but..
Wait, people actually struggle to get power eggs? I skipped all of the levels in sites 5 and 6 to get to Big Man.
Me too
I skipped _all_ The levels in site 2-6 except bosses
I speed run it as I just got the game and really didn't have time so I still have alot to collect and do. But I pretty much did only a few levels in each area.
Same bruh

3:40 well actually it's not just because of video game logic and plot armour, but inkling's and octoling's don't actually have any bones!
They would still be a puddle of guts and blood their not weightless and if they were the light enough they could jump further
@@yuri_mony989 um... how educated are you exactly on splatoon lore?
@@buzzingbee09Probably only knows what splatoon 3 is and has no idea about anything in it.
I find it funny watching all these youtubers not being able to use tilt controls. To me it feels so much easier and natural.
HOW? Lol
I am confused you don't play like every single game that doesn't have motion controls because that's almost every other console game
Splatoon tilt controls are weird
are you normal?

After Alterna mentally exhausted me. I spent all morning trying to beat it and I nearly cried of happiness when I did. My heart was beating fast and I was sweating bullets
I'm stuck on the part with all the blocks that go underwater
@@daylinhesford3116 Go as fast as you can. Use bust bombs if you have to.
Same I took two or three days to complete the first section but once I did I was like I can't risk losing this progress and powered through for like another 2 hours on section 2 then the final difficult section took at most an hour extra
The first time I tried I lost around 3000 eggs in lives. The second time I beat it on my first go.
It took me 50 minutes
We had a No Pineapple vs Pineapple Splatfest in Splatoon 2, and No Pineapple won, meaning it's, by law, wrong to put pineapples on pizza in the Splatoon world.
Also, that's a CHARGER, you're supposed to charge your shoots with it... And let the motion control on, after you get used to it, aiming becauses away better. 100% worth it.
I do better without motion control. I might try them later on but I mostly play handheld on the switch.

Motion Control sucks.
I like the target popping levels they’re not that bad. (I am a motion controls user of that clears things up)
i had a similar thought.
yeah doing anything aim related would be a nightmare without motion controls
I did them with motion controls and still struggled (But without them would be a true nightmare)
I cant play without motion controls.

"I've 100% splatoon 3"
And yet not a single area is fully surveyed
Fie fie.
fun fact: you only need to beat every level and explore every last inch of alterna for 100% completion
I should know
I did it...
Thank you
You get anything extra for doing all the alt weapons on each lvl?
@@coopsterthomas5421 no I don't think so
doing that isn't a 100% requirement so yea
@@coopsterthomas5421 you need it for self-fulfillment ;)
You don’t get the collectible check marks on the map tho
The level where you were given the flingza roller probably would have been easier if you knew about vertical flicks. Basically rollers flick in a straight line if you are in the air when you use them. And the Flingza's whole gimmick is that while it's horizontal flicks are short and fast, it's verticals are longer and slower.
Also funnily, the Squiffer is one of my long time favorite weapons in the series and even I struggle with the levels they stick it in. It's the issue of they're giving you a tool that's not as well suited for the level as a way of upping difficulty.
Motion controls would make those pesky target levels easier than most of the normal ones.
this
Yeah I normally don't play with motion controls but I had to for the target practice with the Tri Stringer
Laughs in doing After Alterna with sticks
No motion controls never gonna do it
They would not! Thanks for your opinion
Oh god it’s so weird seeing someone who hasn’t seen the first two games. Splatoon did the color titles for both games 💀
That endgame reference about the stupid target levels is just *Chefs kiss* perfect. Target levels are the bane of my existence
It's so hard to watch someone play splatoon story mode without playing 1 and 2 first
Its so funny, every dudebro in the universe is currently playing it just like with ACNH just because its popular and you get to see some of the worst splatoon gameplay youve ever seen in your life because of it.
Or octo expansion like these mfs are so slow
Honestly I'd still probably look like one of those players, and I've finished 1 and 2's campaign. I even 100% cleared 1.

It does. Sorry. Just because you dislike it does not mean it is not tasty to those with refined taste. Especially with pepperoni and jalapenos.
@@TheAndrewColletteShow I've finally found somebody who agrees with me THANK YOU PINEAPPLE PIZZA or another name for it Hawaiian Pizza IS AWESOME SCREW WHAT EVERYONE ELSE SAYS
Intresting to see the story mode from the perspective of someone who hasn't played splatoon before
For real. Even down to the "motion controls bad" thing when Splatoon is the one game where motion controls are good
@@ciberkid22
Not in After Alterna tho
I automatically did 100% the second I saw that you could play each level with different weapons, I loved it
I thought that motion controls were awkward but after completing the story mode with them, they feel so natural
You 100%’d splatoon 3 by completing all the levels.
I 100%’d splatoon 3 by painting every single possible surface.
We are not the same.
as a person who has played splatoon 1, 2 and now 3, completing all story modes as well. Watching you not use motion controls hurt, i feel you would have been able to do this faster if you put in the extra few minutes to learn them. still this is a amazing achievement especially considering u did not use motion controls.
The headphones have a barrier that lets your character breath in space. *That's* how they're helpful.
5:44
Your imitation of Callie is so hilarious
After 100% game I was left with 68k power eggs and had 63k after finishing the secret kettle level. Which we had more gear or gun replicas again.
18:04 With. Motion. Controls.
It is the ONLY aim correction available in-game that is compareable to Mouse and keyboard elsewhere.
Use the sticks for big main aiming movement and motion to fine-tune the aim after.
18:45 im a squiffer main, im very offended, you have a skill issue, it has good accuracy.
Splatoon octoexpansion:you explode
Splatoon 3:you meet god
As a splatoon 3 player thus was amazing to watch and very nostalgic because I used to say the same things about the guns. You should try out multiplayer sometime it is a blast
I did this the same day the game arrived at home, played for 16 hours straight, got to the end of the game, at next day on morning, and beat the "secret"/special lvl on 10 minutes
Btw, start using motion controlers, the stick will not let you go much further on multiplayer, those are needed
Squiffer is actually a really good weapon once you get used to how it works and how it plays.
@@cosm1220 Squiffer is actually my main weapon. Took me a year of training with it but I got really good after a while. Can usually avg around 10-11 kills per match unless my aim is garbage that day. Keep training with it and it'll totally be worth it!
17:54 As a squiffer main, I am greatly disappointed that you diss my main
yay! spatoon 3 content! love your content and love splatoon!
5:46 you underestimate my power and 12:16 that’s all it is miles a leap of faith best parts of the video
You compared splatoon tilt controls to "that mario kart group that uses tilt controls" which I thought was interesting because the motion controls are probably one of the most important aspects of gameplay. They give you precision that you can't get easily with stick controls, and the game turns it on by default because they know it would be beneficial for you to learn it early. I did the same thing that you did, only I started with Splatoon one. It was only about less than a month ago in a Splatoon 2 ranked match that I realized I was never gonna get better using stick controls, and when I turned on motion, it was really hard for me to get used to, (I basically had to learn to aim all over again) but I've never been better at the game
Edit: I'm not saying that they're absolutely necessary, in fact you may not even have trouble without them when playing in a casual environment, I just strongly recommend them, as they'll give you an early edge over your peers. (Peers as in players who have a similar multiplayer level, as you'll most often queue with them.)
10:32 Reminded me of Super Mario Sunshine, AND the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse reference was great 😂

Oh my god that's so true. The final fight in the secret level was a pain in the ass but I learned more and more until I was finally complete. Also, I did the same as you with the levels with the snipers except I did it before the secret level. Oh how similar splatoon players can be...
I'm still sad there's no 100% reward tho😭
The secret level was easy and you technically get a 100% item

You should do this with Splatoon 2 dlc, great levels and I really love the plot 🔥
Im one of the obnoxious types that went for a 100% completion on the fly while playing through the game…
“One-Way Ride through Target Town” with the Tri-Stringer was pure Octo Expansion and will not be missed
I find it interesting that you didn’t upgrade your gear that much (note in the final climb, you only had 1 bomb)
I found it nearly impossible without all upgrades and I’ve played since 1

Probably not the first to say it… but you don’t have motion controls on, so the targets are easy to miss when you’re on the rails. You keep needing to make micro-adjustments while you slide right past them

Welcome: To the inky grind my friend.
Splatoon 1 and 2 actually did allow you to paint the wall that showed the credits, revealing art of important things and characters.
Great one anrewd the shiver frye timbers😮😮
When I was True 100% completing the game, I wondered why the progress bars I had on Splatnet 3 said I only had around 2/3 completion percent every site and instantly thought it meant I had to find every piece of dialog in every level, meaning collecting every hidden or out-of-the-way power egg pack. Turns out, it was just the surveying part of the overworld map that I had missed. Much better.
You know I love how you say weapons stink without considering that they all have vastly different play styles

one note on the carbon.. its legit the first itteration on the splattanna due to the swing being a one shot
i saved watching this until i knew who was the real antoganist here, and now since i've beat shiver, i can now watch.
For the weird jump on the tower of phase 5, (jump 1, not the wall climb)) I took a shorter runway, but a more direct approach. I went as far back on the platform as possible, but on the block you jump off of. Cleared it in one go.
It was sorta tedious trying to explore every inch in trying to find the stuff left over
8:46 HELL YEAH
Turning on tilt controls after playing the game for a week or 2 is like taking off your ankle weights to beat Gaara for the exam
Andrew:"why didn't they called the trio Shiver Me Timbers"

Surprised he even managed to get close to beating the game with stick controls. Only took me like 10 minutes to beat the secret level. I still don't know why people who played the last game didnt start learning motion before this came out so they gained a competitive advantage. Its genuinely so much easier and better. Also a tip for the last part in the secret level when fighting the octolings, most likely you probably have little buddies damage upgrade unlocked just use him he is a one hit to them and it makes it so much easier when fighting from far away so you don't get messed up by their specials and all that
