I think the trick to reaching Korok Forest is literally follow the wind, using a torch to see where the sparks go.
It actually is, I was so proud of myself when I figured it out without help!

Actually, the townsfolk DO reward you when you save them from monsters, usually with some food, it's just if you take too long to talk to them they revert back to their original dialogue.

So a tip for random people who decide to replay the game recently: for whatever reason, any and all boomerangs in the game have infinite weight and can be used to push thing around with magnesis, regardless of size.

easy tip for fighting Lynels: when you hop on their back after stunning them, your weapon doesn’t take any durability so you can just equip your highest damage weapon and deal a ton of damage to the lynel

I found your video to be super charming and entertaining (not to mention full of lols). Only watched about 30min but plan to finish as I only recently got a Switch and played/beat BOTW. Playing TOTK now but this has been a GR8 recap! Even spotted a few things I missed! SCORE!! Oh, btw, I ended up throwing on my stealth suit and sneaking around ninja style to collect all the shock arrows for the first divine beast. That Lynel was too terrifying o.O
PS to anyone who has trouble with the sneaking in the Yiga clan hideout.. just get some Ancient arrows and Erase them as it one shot deletes them, they can't spot you and allarm the others.

@@Huziplayz2010 man i installed cemu and started playing it on my pc, works kinda clunky but it did the job, i droped the game cuz it was not running so great on my low end pc but i loved exploring hyrule and actually cried on the master sword cutscene, i didnt expect it lol. prolly gonna play to the end once i have an better pc or an switch

This is one of like 4 games I want to wipe my memory of so I can experience it for the first time again. Tho it doesn't feel like a Zelda game it's still one of the best open world games of all time. Can't wait for Tears to fuse weapons and objects to explore and solve puzzles, it's gonna expand the exploration that made this GOTY. Great video Andrew!

@@darkspider11 Persona 5, Destiny 1 (with the friends I played with), and Elden Ring. Experiencing those for the first time are some of my greatest memories and it actually hurts knowing I'll never have that again, just hope for new games to recreate those feelings. Starfield is looking like a good candidate

What I’ve noticed about the final “divine beast” is that a room somewhat connects to the four divine beasts
It also looks like the inside of an engine, with the center room powering the others.
