After watching numerous bias tape tutorials, this is the easiest for my brain to wrap around. Even though I had my doubts for a few minutes, the steps were clear. Thank you for making this tutorial!
Wow, I’ve never seen this before, thank you for sharing. Hope you feel better soon, I had covid last summer even after 2 vaccines, it was not pleasant, just keep resting, until you feel better, it takes awhile xxx
Thank you so much for this video. Came upon it by chance scrolling through my feed. I tried making continuous binding 2 days ago and couldn’t make it work . Wish I had seen your video before. Your steps and camera angles are very cleat. Saved the video to my library for future reference.
My method as well. I find it helpful to mark a 1/4” tick mark on each line to match easier with pins. Glad that you are feeling better, Lisa. Glad you will be having evening Lives for the mug rug series for us gals who work during the day.
Well, I know what I'm going to do next time I need bias binding. Great tutorial: good pacing, clear instructions without a lot of extra chatter, camera was positioned well so it was easy to see what you were doing. Thank you for posting!
I know this was posted a yr ago however I've look in many book and watched numerous tutorials and yours is the one that showed me so I could get it....THANK YOU!!!! Now on to finish my quilt!!! May your day be blessed😊👍❤
Thank you for sharing. This is how I make binding but I always have to look up the instructions. I’ve saved yours because it is so good. Hope you continue to feel better.
Would love to know how your mom taught you! I thought after the first few times that this method is pretty quick and easy, but I'd love to learn an even easier way :)
Thanks for taking us through the method of making continuous bias binding from a fat quarter. I will have to watch the video a few times before I attempt to make the continuous binding but you gave me a good start. Take care and stay safe. Lisa, I made two bias binding and I didn't do well on one. Somehow, when it came to bringing the two edges together to match the lines, nothing worked so I watched your video and made the third one step by step and this time, I got it right. Thanks again and please stay safe. Shay from TX.
So sorry to hear you have been sick. I’ll be praying for your speedy recovery. Thank you so much for sharing this technique. I knew it could be done, but didn’t know how!!
Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial! I just could not get this to work for me, until I found your video. Something about the way you explained it just clicked with me, and I am very grateful! My biased tape turned perfectly and I was able to complete my project. Thank you so much!! 🥰
I imagine you can also make binding strips to use on pieces of clothing you make. This is an easy way to make your own, matching binding. TY for sharing this video with us.
Sorry to hear you had COVID. Glad to see you are feeling better. Thank you for the video. It was good to refresh my memory. I will look forward to your 2022 videos. Thank you again for sharing your expertise with us.
Thank you so much! You are right, the first try was rough. I had to rip out the stitches twice. second and third ones turn out perfect. I am starting my 2022 Christmas gifts so this will be very good to know. Glad you are feeling better. I also love your Etsy shop and visit often. Love your work. R
Wow what a excellent tutorial. Thank you, I have never been able to make a continuous bias binding. I have wasted so much fabric. I’m so pleased to have found you
Oh, so sorry you had covid. Hope you're feeling back to normal soon. Thanks for the tutorial. This is a great reminder on how to make the binding. I like to make a few ahead of time in different colors to have some ready when I need it. Prayers for you and your family.
Thank you Lisa, I knew I could count on you to do this right. Unreal on how much one can get just out of a fat quarter……now I can tackle a bigger piece of fabric I purchased just for that and was reticent to cut it up! You rock girl!
I'm glad you are recovering and NOT in the hospital! Thank you for the video, genius! I just happen to have 2 squares from WOF ready for the first seam. Same square method, but I do a perpendicular cut from the fold to corner so it fits on my 18'' square mat. I can't cut straight with scissors. ( need a tutorial for that) Set aside because I didn't want to stitch the strips together. LOL Guess what's first on my to do list today. Prayers for you and your family for a speedy recovery!!
I was wondering if I could iron the fold and then open it up and use my rotary cutter because I can’t cut smooth with my scissors either. I may play with it and if they are wonky I can always use them for pot holders.
You know I went to fashion design school and I don’t think I was Taught that technique thank you for sharing can’t wait to make it I think it will save lots of money if I just now buy it already done I really enjoy watching that technique sorry to hear about your Covid will be praying for you
