As far as I know, ALL category 1 quick hitches, have hooks that fit a category 2 pin(That's why they sell bushings for your implement. I have 6 different 3 point tools and only the most recent purchase was quick hitch compatible. Everything else was made in the 1940's to the 1960's and needs to be altered to fit. The easiest way to fit the pins to the bottom hooks, it to add the bushings to the tool on every piece of equipment as intended. Some of the higher priced quick hitches come with a set of bushings. The problem is, you need a set for every tool, so you aren't messing around changing bushings from one tool to the other.
Yes I'm finding this out. I just added a new box blade and in order for it to fit the same as my other to attachments I had to redrill the top link hole. Otherwise I would have to move the hook everytime. I guess I would think that cat 1 is all the same but it looks like every manufacturer has a different idea of what cat 1 is.
Nice. Maybe extend the top out to get better angle adjustment (latch top pin w/ QH) so that everything is close to 90 degrees angle, based on my researching so far 🧐

The Good Works Tractor channel has the Speeco Cat1 e quick hitch that doesn't need bushings, however it can be found for less elsewhere.
But yeah, the hole spacing is a recent standard.

Good review and a very good suggestion to fix the issues.
You'll see in one of the next videos I went and got the other hook. Makes a huge difference hooking up with that extra inch of clearance.
