Amberg Acres
США
Добавлен 20 май 2014
We own 20 acres of land in northern Wisconsin that has been in Barb's family since the early 1900's.
We retired in 2022 and moved to the property in July of 2022 and continue to improve the property.
We just purchased a Branson 2515 H to help get some of this work done.
Our plan is to remove the old farm house and build a pole barn for a workshop.
Right now it's just a woods, so we have a lot of work ahead of us.

A nice buck but he only moves thru the property between 11pm and 2am. He's going to be tough to shoot at that time.

My cousin bought a expensive crossbow it broke 2x. Went and bought a $200 crossbow at tractor supply kills just as good
Those rocks are pretty cool. My wife collects sea glass. Did you get any yesterday 9-8-24, or today 9-9-24?
@@squirrellyacres we were up there at beginning of August, I threw it in because I'm running out of content. We went the 1st time last year with borrowed lights. So I bought her one for Christmas not knowing she got me the same gift. Great minds think alike I guess.
Nice looking deer hope still around for u during hunting
@@randyh3027 not a chance, they don't stick around past September
I no but one could hope there is a dumb one that sticks around
Wow that's a big one, but then again that's why a big one, only comes out at night. I like how Mutt and Jeff ran after he turned around. Was up for a day trip yesterday to check the property out and work the food plots, and check the trails cameras, only saw fork horn.
@@squirrellyacres ya if you look at the times he enters the property just before midnight and he walks right behind the house to get to the big field behind us. I never have him coming back the other way, he must go around on another property.
Great footage my friend
Thanks so very much for sharing this buddy
I don't understand why people who are supposedly putting up a helpful video have to drag it out with all the nonsense we all know how much they cost why can't you people just get to the point of the install
Was up this weekend rained Saturday for a bit but wasn’t able to get food plot in till Thursday so hoping for more rain
@@randyh3027 doesn't look like much coming. Supposed to be really hot this week.
Great job buddy
Was up there yesterday for a day trip to mow, first time in a month and I expected to have tall grass, wow was I surprised at the lack of growth, my water hole was down 6 inches.
No rain up here for weeks now. Maybe a 1/4" in three weeks.
should have watched full video, very cool another grouse !
Was that another Grouse in the background or a pigeon I saw?
That is a new one, I've never seen this many grouse in my life.
Nicely done, thanks for sharing.
Great job buddy thanks so very much for sharing this with us 👍🏼👍🏼
Great job my friend you did a fantastic job
Nice job can't wait to see the finished product. Just a reminder if you didn't know, next Monday bonus tags go on sale for the Northern forest zone.
Good 👍one 👌
Great share buddy thanks for sharing it with all of us
Looks like it will do the job just fine.
Great share looks like it’s doing a great job for you buddy
Where do u purchase the Jolt
Amazon, but I have seen it at stores also like fleet farm and others.
Great lesson learned. Thanks for the shout-out Mark. Those legs for a bookshelf, which we decided not to use. Those ants sure are a pain.
That’s a big bear. I have a couple by my cabin and don’t like it a bit. Stay safe
@@garykapal6461 we get them once in a awhile but they don't stick around.
😂😂 good luck her not knowing buddy, they look delicious
But why?
Thats one way to dry them out faster.
Great share my friend
What product do u use for fertilizer
@@garykapal6461 I use 2 different products. 10-10-10 in a bag from menards I put down with a spreader when I plant or in spring on the clover. The other is liquid Jolt that I mix in with the glyphosate when I spray for weeds. You can go back to some of the older videos on food plots, I believe I showed the products. Also pellatized lime from menards in spring will help the soil. 50lb bag per 1/4 acre for the lime. So about 4 bags on my big field. If your up some weekend stop over and I'll take you for a walk around.
Thanks i will
😂😂
I remember when we had them install power at our place, they came and inspected the site, but never gave us a date. Maybe 3 weeks after the inspection they installed everything and never called us. The pole barn looks great, I understand what you're saying about not doing it again, some of those projects just take too much out of you.
They finished it, I happened to be home when they showed up and told them to make the final connection or they were going to leave because no one told them to hook it up.
Are you in Amberg Wisconsin?
Yes Amberg, WI
Yes Amberg, WI
Fantastic work by u and the crew
Doing a awesome job buddy , l need a new pole barn you up to Mark 😂😂😂
Nope I'm done, my body will never be the same.
@@ambergacres3797 l definitely heard that l couldn’t of myself
Mark I think it looks get from my house. Lol. My suggestion on caulking those cuts would be tape the top and bottom of the cuts and then smooth out the caulking then pull the tape. It’s a nice clean line. Hi Barb
They don't look too bad I found some clay colored caulk at ace in kingsford that matches pretty good.
Looks goods! I need a pole barn put up are you up to it buddy😂😂 have a happy birthday old man.
Thanks Larry
It’s been a big change on the place since l started watching your channel, l can’t wait to see what you do with it buddy
I have to wonder why they didn't use heavy duty glue to reattach those sections of the rubber seal, mines an older camper, but I think they used self-leveling caulk.
Yes the self leveling caulk or a new piece of the tape would have been better. Now how do I get that caulk off?
Red can is $75 now at homedepot 😢
I think you're talking about Devo who sang Whip It. Looking good. I made this comment before watching the entire video, see you found it, your version is just as good lol.
U should give him a raise
I gave him 2 steak dinners from pelkins.
U Pablo make a great team keep up the good work
So do I. Saw cuts?
Yes saw cuts. There will be a short clip at the beginning of next weeks video.
That looks great long time coming but can’t believe how fast the year is going
In one of the upcoming videos I comment on this project taking a full year start to finish. Nothing goes as quick as you want unless your willing to pay the pros. And I'm only going to pay for certain things, concrete is one of them.
Cool
You did a fantastic job buddy
It is crazy how you don't get a return call from some of those companies. Looks really nice Mark
10 people only 4 returned my call. And some of them were highly recommended from other people.
I bet you are happy to have that finished.
Just got garage doors to put up. Siding is all up and the videos will be out the next couple of weeks.
I meant Hi Barb
Mark u have to be pleased. Good move on the foam. Well worth the money spent. Nice Barb
