  • Thank you so much for watching my video on the walking dead fan theory of the whisperers spreading in season 3, it is a cool concept with some interesting ideas however I think it’s basically impossible to have happened due to the time lines not matching up. But if you enjoyed please like and subscribe thank you so much for watching!
A big thanks to Mr Barton for helping with the Thumbnail.

Axel was not the serial killer in the comics. You're mistaking Axel with Tomas Richards. Axel was originally going to adapt Tomases role in the show, probably to surprise comic readers, but this storyline was dropped early in season 3.

honestly, as much as i would love to give the writers credit for that whole "Morgan came into contact with walkers" I highly doubt he did. The man was crazy, and the "dead wearing peoples faces" Is probably him seeing his wife, his son, because remember, his son he never killed him at first, and that essentially sent him into a crazy state where his memories probably merged with his current trauma and he saw people he knew but as zombies

Even though its officially stated as not true (i also think its just a hair too early in the timeline to logically fit) its a fun thing to think about. Morgan CLEARS some walkers, loots the bodies, finds one is in a mask, mind is further broken
In another universe, maybe Beta is actually Nick from fear instead of halfy
    Alas we can only dream

  • @mrv7916

I think Lizzie and Morgan did encounter some Whisperers when Alpha and Beta were not yet in charge of the group.
As for Lizzie I think she may had encountered a Whisperer member in the prison. It’s possible that some, if not all members of Whisperers got to the prison and then decided to leave cause Rick and his members where taking out some of the Walkers and they didn’t want to be caught by Rick. And again, it’s completely possible that around this time Lizzie may had encountered some of Whisperers and she thought the Walkers were actually still human and also able to talk. I think that’s what messed up her head and made her do what she did.

Lizzie was not based off Axel, (Thomas Richards was the serial killer in the comics not Axel), Lizzie and Mika were based off the twin boys Billy and Ben who were part of the group from the beginning. Ben killed animals various times then killed his brother believing that he'd come back since the brain wasn't damaged, almost verbatim Lizzie's lines from the show. Also Beth did not exist in the comics, in her place were twin girls, Rachel and Susie Greene

I have issues with the whisperers and their camouflage methods. In Season One, we watch Rick and Glen hang walker intestines around their necks, smear walker guts and blood all over multiple layers of clothes with walker body parts tied to them in an attempt to mask their alive scent so they could get from the store to the box truck only a few blocks away. The walkers were on them the entire time but docile yes, and the second it started raining just a little, the walkers were totally zoned in on Rick and Glen. No way making and wearing a walker mask hat from a walker's skin would hide you in a herd of walkers for hours.
    And another thing...
Also in Season One at the department store in Atlanta, there was a walker holding a rock or busted section of curbing with both hands above his head and pounding it against the glass doors of the store...
    Walkers don't use tools.

morgan was talking about rick, he hadnt seen rick in so long nore did he ever hear from him again even tho rick said he would contact him daily on the radio so obviously he assumed rick to be dead, he then started to have a brake down after the death of his son witch effected his mental state badly, he then sees rick, going so long believing rick to be dead and his mental state being shot to bits instead of thinking normally of the situation his mind lead him to think that it wasnt rick and that it must have been some one wearing ricks dead face to fk with him, he says "people wearing dead peoples faces" and the immediately after says "i dont know you"
this was him essentially him showing that he recognised ricks face yet as he believed rick to be dead it carnt have been rick thus some sick person wearing ricks face (people wearing dead peoples faces - the person standing in front of him wearing ricks face) and again he says i dont know you because well yea he dosnt know whos under the mask and is tying to make it clear to this person whos in his mind trying to mess with him by wearing ricks dead face that he dosnt know who he is or why his there as well yea this person obviously knows morgan and went as far as to take ricks face to mess with him even after all of these years
morgan genuinely believed that this was someone wearing ricks face that is what he was talking about and why it was never mentioned ever again because well yea he realised it was rick and there was no significant reason to bring that conversation up ever again as it was just a misunderstanding due to him believing rick was dead and his mental state being all over the place at that time
as for lizzy well yea she was genuinly tapped in the head, she didnt understand what was going on and was going insane she very likly alredy had mental health issuses before the whole apocalypse happend witch worsend over time as they typaclly tend to do without the right medication + with the way the world had gone those things would have just made her mental state far worse for her, her mental state legit pushed her in to insanity, the voices she heard, not being scared of the monsters trying to kill her, finding it hard to fit in with the rest of the kids, killing her own sister and wanting to end the baby without showing any real emotions until after she is confronted about it suggest she may have had something like Schizophrenia along with other mental health issues witch again without medication/ proper support + just in general how fked the world had gone would have only often worse over time hence why she started out as a some what normal child and then started acting weird out of no where feeding rats to the walkers, trying to befriend them, claiming they talk to her and then killing her own sister and attempting to kill the baby to save them, her metal state detreated over time causing her to go insane due to Schizophrenia, the group verly likly just didnt pick up onher metal health issuses as well yea its hard to identify them in young people and when young people do something out of the ordinary we just chalk it up to them being young like when she gets cought feeding rats to the walkers or trying to befriend them no one really questions wtf shes doing sure they confront her about it and she gets emotianal but no one thinks to keep eyes on her they just tell her no dont do that that bad lizzywizzy now go play in the mud, no one ever questioned her mental state as again it was just being chalked up to her being a child and not understanding what was going on, over time it got worse and again no one payed any attention untill it was to late

I dont really like the theory, while I love the entire concept and execution of The Whisperers, the idea that they came in to contact with Lizzie and thats what made her the way she was takes a lot away from the actual tradegy of her story, the childhood innocence and not really understanding what happened to the world, it's pretty believable that a child could be messed up like that, a Whisperer coming into contact with her causing it takes away the impact of it all. Morgan was already going crazy which is why I haven't mentioned him yet, but the line in question falls perfectly inline with why he wasn't just killing walkers, but people too.

So, let's clear up the massive amount of misinformation in this video:
Lizze isn't based on Axel/Thomas or ANY of the Prisoners at all.
Lizzie is based on BEN. Ben kills their brother for the same reasons/implications Lizzy killed their sister, and thinks walkers are people too.
In the comics, the group doesn't know how to deal with Ben, so at night, a VERY YOUNG Carl (about 8 years old) kills him whilst everyone is asleep.
There is absolutely ZERO elements of comic Axel or any Prisoner's storylines in Lizzie's storyline. ALL of her storyline happens nearly 1:1 as it does in the show in issues 60 and 61, right down to killing animals.

    Very Observant!
The group used the same technique of fooling Walker noses back in season 1 with guts and blood. Then Morgan clearly says it. "Wearing" dead peoples faces. Id imagie hearing them talking by himself would disturb sanity. Then Liz seems to have encoutered them S well.
    Assumption:
that there is more backstory to those statements by show characters.
That the technique of " scent " was in fairly common use. Pile of dead bodies in front of an entrance might foolthem away from a house are yard.
( What and where is the area of the brain that has the sense of smell? So that part not dead. Then i recall trying to eat wild onions and chitlings at a festival. A steamibg pile on my plate. Id raise the fork not breathibgvand the vape of hot pig feces up my nose. Nope. Just Frankfurters. So you dont have to breath to smell.
My guess is that whispers might also have joined the main group from the South. Or that many of the hordes were driven by survivors. Destroy the farm then return to loot. Never went back. Howillogical is that? Housefull of food, fuel, water, and survival packs left behind. Plus medical tools for Hersal.
Remember zombie throwing his football forearm into the fence? Was that muscle memory, logic, memory, whisperer, or a variant?
( Cold water drownings. Peope can drown and be brain dead in warm water in two minutes. In cold water or under ice they have been revived for up to 10 minutes. The prison- the dead tossed in a cooler room. ( You dont want to open that. Varients ) Logically encountered more in the north where IQs ate higher.
So now I believe Morgan met whisperers as did Liz and even others. Even Hershel was not entirely sure. Pickled.
