An Australia setting is perfect. Honestly, I would love to see more spinoff shows of TWD but in other places in the world. It was cool seeing France, but I would like a completely new cast. Like Japan and other parts of Asia, Brazil, Alaska, etc.

Best twd character hands down was Merle. Made To Suffer was a masterpiece

I think season 8 is perfect for an ending, but instead of a time jump episode, give me a 2 part movie released over 7 years. Part one showing early struggles of the aftermath. Have that be about 75 minutes of the movie and the last 45 showing about a year or 2 later and where things and maybe preview the whispers like just a little Easter egg only die hards would notice. And in part 2, released 7 years later. Show the whole civilization Damm near built. Thinking they are safe and about 30 minutes in introduce the whisperers and do the whole story over the next 75 minutes, then wrap of the last 15 how you see fit.

I do hope there is more TWD content. It probably doesn't mean much to many people when I say this, but TWD is one of only a few long running shows (excluding cartoons I loved as a kid) that have had a lasting desire for more content. The only other shows being Supernatural and Z Nation. (I'm sure you can spot the pattern) I don't mind if there's new characters, new countries, new scenarios. I just want to see the universe expand. This desire for more content isn't something I experience often. I usually burn out on shows within an episode or two. (Probably undiagnosed ADHD or something). But with the aforementioned shows, I would binge many episodes in a row and always be left wanting more. Idk how to truly express the impact these shows have had on my mental health. It's like they were a place of comfort and stability for my mind. Corny/cringe, I know. But I'm 30 now, so I'm at peace with the cringe factor of myself.

Should just scrap TWD franchise altogether and get more seasons of Black Summer which in my opinion was better 🤔😉

They need to give frank darabont whatever he wants to write a spin off for them

I think it would be best after the spin-off's end's they would make final 3 season's. Like season 12, 13 and 14) or brand new show. And it would end the story of The Walking Dead

I think you’re right, they should do a season 2 of the ones who live where everyone reunites, and there doesn’t have to be a main villain per say but maybe a walker problem like in season 6 dealing with a horde, or just some creepy storyline like have some walkers mutate idk

This comment section is full of people with about as much maturity as you'd expect from such an overly simplified franchise. Rick murdered a room full of people he didn't need to because he was having an emotional time and it's never talked about again in the show. No ifs and buts, regardless of the fictional world they're in, that kind of thing excludes him from ever being a good person again. He also stood by and did nothing about close friends of his who also commit murder, example springs to mind when he did nothing when Darryl gunned down someone who surrendered to them. If he ever led a group the size of the saviours, he'd of done far worse things for the sake of his own family and community than Negan did.

I genuinely thought that I had skipped a season when all of a sudden the show jumped from being on the bridge to being in the stadium without even flashbacks on how they all got together and dealt with what had happened😮‍💨

Doubt many will see or like this idea, but I'd very much like to see if this spinoff happens ofc, I'd like to see the CRM make a cameo in this show pre-towl, just because they were way too easily dealt with in towl, plus I wouldn't doubt they have the capabilities to go to different countries considering Okafor believed the CRM was the most powerful military on the planet. Maybe I'm just glazing them too much, but I'd like to see a CRM helicopter fly overhead even. And for the edited part, I'm starting to believe they'll probably make the western alliance the next big villain, I don't really see where else they can go with villains.

Something that would be a small change but could have a big impact in a new show would be random turning imagine everything’s fine nobody’s been bit but then someone just turned the way normal people did when the virus first started. It’s not something that’s really been done much at all in the show so it could be worked in I think and it would be a shock.

New phase for the universe coming soon. We want the Reunions and expanding stories, Rick Grimes is back as a leader. We need some new TWD Content. Especially in between the wait for new seasons of Daryl Dixon and Dead City. Fans want more and more. Like me💯💯💯 The Spin-offs are starting new stories for a new phase… this make me excited again.

"Shane was built for this world, Rick was built by it." Amazingly put. I like Shane's character, but the Shane glazers are insane sometimes. Rick is a perfect example of a moral man who had to adapt to the world, and by the show's timing, he did it around 6ish months. Shane on the other hand became an animal only two months in despite spending roughly 60% or so of that time in a relatively stable group at the quarry. Shane was a good friend by and large; however, he had some deep issues that were only able to be seen once society's rules came down and he made (frankly) a dumb decision to stick his wang in the one woman he probably shouldn't have, regardless of her being a widow or not, with the turmoil of the results of those things it let out a monster that he probably didn't even know was present.

I'm a Daryl glazer, he's in my top three after Rick and Negan, but I agree hard with this. He isn't main character material, he works best as a wingman to Rick. The silent, strong, dependable right hand man to another character that is allowed to have more range.

If we dont get a reunion with Rick Daryl negan and morgan i will be very disappointed i mean even if its just Rick and Daryl reuniting ill be happy it just has to happen the show will never feel complete if we dont get that

What characters did you grow up watching because from what I remember basically most if not all are dead besides maybe three original characters that's why I lost interest specifically when Carl died.

Shane was a good guy. How ever he was kinda dumb. I'm sure he became a deputy in a small town because he was a former foot ball player who didn't get a college scholarship because he wasn't skilled enough at football. Plus he didn't have the grades to get an academic scholarship. Basically he might of been a D student in school.
