Travis and nick were my favorite characters of fear anytime those characters were on screen I got even more hooked in the show. I like how nick and rick name sound similar and they both start the show waking up in a zombie apocalypse.

I find it refreshing to hear this take on Nick Clark. I don't think the character gets anywhere close to the recognition he deserves. I agree with you entirely and for the first 3 seasons of Fear he is was the most powerful character in TWDU. In some respects he had it all, he was somewhat of a hybrid of both Rick & Daryl. He had leadership qualities, whilst being able to go it alone and survive without it making him vulnerable, better than Rick in that regard i think. Nick is a phenomenally well written character who can land his hand to almost any situation and find solutions. The range of this character is vast. 'Adaptable' just isn't a strong enough word to describe his skill set. I have long thought that Gimple did him dirty in season 4 with that ending but completely get why the brilliant Frank Dillane wanted out after Erickson left. He is and will be. The most powerful character during his Walking Dead lifetime for me always. Thanks Theo, another amazingly well planned and executed video. 👍

I used to be a heroin addict and always wanted to write or see a story about an addict in an apocalypse, I couldn't imagine myself being in withdrawals while having to run for my life and then Nick came around on fear the walking dead and had that line about how he's always lived like this and people are starting to catch up with him. That hits hard
The most powerful isn't a US survivor, as much as many would like to think. They have guns, that's easy mode, not to mention normal variant walkers. The most powerful is probably a UK survivor, someone who is creative, strong, skilled, and knowledgeable. Someone who can walk into a DIY store and hold off a small attack force with builds from pipes and other materials while dealing with a stab wound. Someone who is determined to find answers at any cost. Someone who Beale would choose as a member of his suicide squad to raid labs on a global scale. He also needs to be restrained in new ways (hand and feet pads/straight jacket/Hannibal mask) as he just escapes standard restraints and a straight jacket.
As much as I’d love to an agree with being from the UK myself we have had no representation of the UK in TWD universe so far so I can’t just assume. Hopefully season 3 of Daryl Dixon will give us some more information on how the Uk faired in the outbreak!

That said, the chances of a UK series is low considering Australia was greenlit. But I do have something useable as a series for the UK and a global team up that displays those mentioned strengths.
Yea finally Nick such an underappreciated character you could always see yourself in him he wasnt some crazy strong leader with plot amor he survived because he did what he needed to do and he made a lot of mistakes but he still made up for them the best he could
I’m like the rest and wish we got to see the 7 seasons that DE had envisioned, but to play devil’s advocate I can offer a compromise solution, 5 seasons of the original fear and THEN do the reboot with Morgan. That could’ve still worked even though it wasn’t the 7 we had hoped for. S4 do the Proctor war and reveal that Troy is his lieutenant during that war, then s5 is the Troy war after Proctor John is killed. S5 would end with a fiery battle which would kill Troy and another Clark (Nick or Alicia, it’s a choice I won’t want to make so I’ll just leave the idea out there). Madison can still form the villain empire and be very dark but everything will just be more chaotic much faster. The season would end with Madison looking at the aftermath of the battle and seeing her entire community destroyed, utters the words “it was all for you” referring to her children and begins to walk around aimlessly. The other sibling would completely separate from their mother and have a more hopeful ending while also sad bc they saw their sibling killed. Daniel is a wild card so who knows what he’ll be doing. Strand is a definite crossover character and he will gain connections to the CRM so that’s how he’ll remain relevant in later fear with Morgan. DISCLAIMER*: the story ideas was all me who came up with that but the whole format thingy with 5 seasons of original cast and 3 seasons of Morgan came from Hobo Ducks a fellow RUclipsr. I copy most of his rewrite ideas but this is all me.

We’re getting rid of the fluff that was s4 and s5 and heading straight onto the cool shit. Remove half the shitty cast and have a shortened cast like before. The team so far is: Morgan, John & June Dorie, Dwight & Sherry, Daniel?, and Grace. I mean that’s about it, the rest are trash af so I don’t know who else I could add who doesn’t piss me off whenever they’re on screen. I’d keep Emile until the end of s6 bc he was cool and he can be a reflection of Morgan and gain some sort of redemption arc. Either kill him off at the end of s6 or keep him around a bit longer onto s7. S7 starts with Virginia escaping the conflict and us thinking she might be a problem onto s7 but she has a random encounter with the Doomsday cult and she is killed on the spot, setting up the arrival of Teddy. The doomsday thing will go on for the whole season but I’d add the CRM into the conflict bc the whole nuking America thing wouldn’t sit right with them, and that’s where Strand enters the picture. Major General Beale makes a cameo and he puts Strand in charge of neutralising Teddy by any means necessary. Strand makes a deal with Morgan but Strand is still as shady as ever and can’t fully be trusted. Strand only cares about the mission and nothing else. They take care of the missile crisis but one still goes off and that’s the end of that. S8 will be the CRM commanding control of the area now. It got passed from The Pioneers, to the Doomsday Cult, and finally to the CRM. The CRM are kinda out of everyone’s league so defeating them is literally impossible. Not sure on how we get there but the characters dying in these 3 seasons are: John Dorie, Grace, Sherry. I’ll eventually work out how that gets done. Morgan leaves with Mo to find Alexandria, June will probably lead a resistance of some kind in John’s honour, Dwight might head back to Alexandria in his own time but idk yet. Strand will survive and he’ll be a crossover villain in WB (ignore Jadis she died). Honestly, Nick & Chris were my favorite characters. I related heavily to them both and they were both really Important characters that meant a lot to me. I would honestly love If you did a video of Chris’ wasted potential and your thoughts on that because he could have had such a huge arc of having a dark side before finding himself again, but they killed him off far too early. Again, wasted potential. So, I'd love to hear your analysis on his character In general as well as what he could have been! Just go easy on him, lol. He's very overhated and I never understood why

Honestly I would put Daryl or Michonne at most powerful because Daryl already had all the skills that he would ever need in the apocalypse and Michonne had her sword and the zombie camouflage and used those zombies to carry things
